Nice welder you got there. I am a beginner. I am using a HOBART at work, looks similar to yours. The machine is solid, easy to use and works every time. I am considering buying one for my own personal use. Nice welding cart, thanks for sharing.👍👍
Great build. The fabrication videos are my favorite since I do some fabrication myself. Looks like a great addition to your shop and should serve you well!!
Me too, but for some reason these videos never catch on. I can look at other welder cart builds on RUclips and they have 10s if not 100s of thousands of views. 🤷🤷🤷🤷
Thanks for the video. I am in the process of building a cart as a learning process and this video, and others, really helped me look at different options. Thanks again for sharing.
Excellent welding cart Andrew! You might consider welding "X" braces between the two table legs to ensure they won't fold in/out from each other under pressure. Good to see that the center of gravity is well ahead of the center of the rear axle. Wouldn't be a good day if the gas bottle tipped the cart over backwards... :-/. Great work!
You looked quite proud of yourself there. And you should. I have been saying I want to get into building projects cutting and welding. Man wish metal wasn’t sooo expensive. Great work
Yes I was quite proud of this project, something I've been dreaming about doing for a long time. Metal has definitely jumped up recently, luckily I found a supplier that is quite reasonable.
Very clever cart. Ima steal your idea sir!! .I’m guessing you’ll get sick of the carriage bolts though and will soon make a telescoping adjustable extension to the legs. They could slide on the outside of the leg and pin at various hts. (No re-work). Mine will be almost as long as the inner leg so the pins are toward the top.
Nice table. You should look into a trench plate for your welding table. That's how I built mine and then I took my mag drill and drilled holes every 3" on the dot for adapters.
Well another awesome video Andrew glad to see you have a wonderful wife that helps you . I have one myself and glad to have her if I lived closer to you I would love to come out to your homestead and lend a helpful hand
Great job on the build, hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate so you can get other projects done. It all takes time. But we seem to not have the patience, but ot will all come together one day
saw the teaser for this in a latter video and checked it out couple things that might have been good is locking caster wheels, and you could have made the legs telescopic with short adjusters on the bottom , maybe even welded them together so they folded down together??? i let my big welding table (4' x 2"thick round centrifugal casting mold(chill)) go at my dads estate auction and kept the smaller table with a really good vice(8") can press u-joints in with it)
Maybe you should also , open up your own , Specialty Fab shop. Offer to sell on line to your groupies , the items you make on the channel. You have enough property there , to hire employee or 2 , to help with all you do , if had the income from items sold. Then could also start up selling Kelly Merchandise. Is like ro make 1st order. Lol. A tan or green Boonie hat with Kelly Logo.
Lol Ive got way too much going on for a business right now. I will definitely keep building and selling some things I make. As far as apparel goes, I always set a goal of starting apparel at 10k subscribers. Getting there sooner than I was expecting thanks to Daniel and people such as yourself. Thanks
Probably 600-800 with the current prices. Thats including casters and all steel. Just the top alone is the biggest expense, several hundred dollars for a big sheet of steel like that. But I plan on this being a lifetime table that will be over built.
Все хорошо.просто и удобно...за исключением одного это ножки стола. На Ютубе есть ролик с отличным вариантом ножек. ruclips.net/video/IbJaOn7K7bM/видео.html
Watched for first five minutes had to leave yah bad lighting no close ups of your welding Technics or explanation of what you are actually doing moved on to better DIYs on welding table builds

Nice job Andrew. That’ll be really handy.
Thank you, I'm very happy to get my welder up off of the floor and secure that bottle.
That's a awesome welding cart!!!! It's better than what you can buy. I see you got some more ibc totes.
Thanks! Yes I found a few more totes for sale locally. I need a lot more.

Great job on the build!🔥🪵👍
Thank you
Looks like it will last a long time. Good project! Something very useful. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
That was awesome! I really mean that. I have a cheap flux core welder, but would still love to have a cart. Well Done Sir!!!
Thank you very much!
Nice cart sir love the video
Thank you!
Nice cart. I too like building my own stuff so that way you get exactly what you want or need.
I really enjoy the building of projects
Nice table. You should look into a trench plate for your welding table. That's how I built mine and then I took my mag drill and drilled holes every 3" on the dot for adapters.
Very nice! Ive seen a few people do that, I want a mag drill bad. Right after a dump trailer 😉
@@TKCL come over you can barrow my mag drill ahahaha 😆😆😆
Sure thing, leaving now! See you in about 3 days
Now that is an expensive bit of kit.
Dang .. impressive and way of thinking about side the box. Never seen a cart with side table..
Thank you for watching
That welding cart will really pick up your your metal working tools. Nice add on with the side table
Thanks, this was a much needed project!
Nice build Andrew. I knew the shipping frame for the chipper would be put to good use.
Thanks for watching!
"Quite Impressive" Catch you on the next one!
Thanks for watching

This week is supposed to nice, I'll jump back on other projects.
👊🙌🏻 You got skills! Nice job!!
Appreciate it!
You're amazing man... Awesome skills. Keep up good work and vids. I'm jealous of that workshop.💪🇺🇸❤
Thanks Steve!

I got something new coming soon 😉
All you need to do now is weld on 3 point attachment to put the table on your 4066. Haha
Hmmmm...... 🤔🤔😃😃
Have you picked out a plasma cutter you like? If so post it, I'd like to see the features of the one you like. Educating myself on welding.
Not yet, they are so expensive I've just not looked lately.
Great Build!
How do you handle access to the left side of the Hobart to change spools etc.?
Just turn it sideways to lift open the spool compartment. It's very rare I change out a 10lb spool so I don't go in there often.
Great shop to work in. What size is the shop?
30x51, but as you can see I only have one bay available for work. I'll de some rearranging later on.
@@TKCL Very nice shop. No matter how big you build it, it is never big enough.
I'm wondering if you could have used some gas struts for the table? I wonder how that would work.
Possibly
Well done, I'm a new fan! Any chance you have a materials/cut list for this? I would love to build this!!!
No cut list, I just build as I go.
Ok, thanks for the response!@@TKCL
Awesome build Andrew. How long did it take you in real time, just curious.
Thanks! Probably 6-7 hours

Hey Andrew, How do you like that hood? As always, I’m really enjoying the videos!
I like it, to be cheap it's never let me down.
Another great video Andrew! How much do you think the steel for the welding table you need will cost?
Probably 600-800 with the current prices. Thats including casters and all steel. Just the top alone is the biggest expense, several hundred dollars for a big sheet of steel like that. But I plan on this being a lifetime table that will be over built.
Jeez steel prices are mad in the US... Here in South Africa I would guess 300
It's very high here and going up
💪💪
