      There'd been a few bad calls previous to that one so he figured he'd get his money's worth as long as he was going to be tossed and fined. I don't think this happens in any other sport and it's one of the reasons I like baseball.

    • @Tom5thousand
      @Tom5thousand 7 лет назад +7

      McClendon really didn't deserve to lose his job with the M's. I'm not a fan of Scott Servais at all so far. I get he's working with an injured team it's not that they're losing it's his management in general has just been awful.

      a little perspective on that Delgado hitting Cutch. the Pirates every year are in the top 2 or 3 of hit batsmen. They constantly hit everyone all the time, their team leads in HBP too because of all the retaliation. Cutch should have taken it liek a man. and no getting hit by a pitch didn't lead to the back muscle injury he got. It was the him slamming the bat down. He should have taken his base.

    Umpires have ruined Major League Baseball. Maybe once it was a respectable profession, but with the advanced technology we have today, there's no excuse for terrible calls like these. These athletes dedicate their lives to being in peak physical condition and these out of shape, emotional old guys go on a power trip and negate all the hard work these men go through. It's time for an automated strike zone and bases with sensors in them.

      Aenus Targaryen Que mediocre tu punto de vista, te respondo en español para que no entiendas. Los árbitros son quienes se encargan de mantener el maldito juego en paz, no solo se encargan de cantar outs o strikes. Ellos también se preparan tal y como un jugador para estar en ese maldito campo y qué gente estúpida como tú los critique por equivocarse. Sin un árbitro los jugadores se la pasarían peleando todo el pito partido porque todos son unos malditos temperamentales de mierda. Deja de hablar mierda de los árbitros sin antes saber por lo que ellos también pasan, ellos no son perfectos, pero los deportes tampoco, lo genial de los deportes es que son como la vida, nunca son del todo justos. Imbecil.
