This is not Toy poodle, it is a Miniature poodle.

I have a mini (she's apricot also) and she's two and smaller than this pup. She's 10 pounds, 10 inches long and 10 inches tall, which I think is the cut-off for a toy. I had a toy poodle for thirteen when she passed and she was about 10 pounds too, but she looked different than Sienna, so they do look different too.

Hey! I had a question do you think Honey is too big to carry for an extended period of time? Sorry kind of a weird question! I was looking at a toy poodle today actually and when I saw the parents they were bigger than I thought and they said likely the puppy would be 10 or 11lbs. I want to take mine everywhere with me and almost all businesses around me are pet friendly but the ones that aren't are ok if you're carrying your dog. I didn't get to interact with the parents because of covid so I had a hard time being able to tell the size!

My toy poodle constantly likes to chew and eat anything he sees. If I try to take it away he growls and BITES. Literally bites. Any suggestions?

@@NicoleCarlsonxo toy and mini are only meaning what size they are. Over 10 lbs is a mini. The parents can both be toys and still have a mini puppy

@@samanthaguzie It’s actually not weight that qualifies the size of the breed but height. At the shoulder, the poodle should be no taller than 10” to qualify as toy, mini poodles are 11”-15” at the shoulder.
My nan breeds full pedigree toy poodles and they are all different sizes, some are the size of a mini poodle but are full pedigree toy poodles even their lineage is all toy size but they just grew big. My maggie will be the size of Honey when she becomes 1 but my mum's dog (maggies uncle) is half the size of her, he is 2 and a half and she is 8 months :)
@@NicoleCarlsonxo Irrelevant if he is "verified" you can measure his back legs if longer than 10inches standing then she is a mini. actually by looking at him he is differently a miniture poodle :) i am a toy poodle breeder but not to worry she is adorable and there is no problem with him being a mini, just letting u kno.
