The parable of the ten virgins. 5 virgins are 5 daughters. Love peace faith grace hope. The other 5 virgins daughters, wisdom, knowledge, perseverance, mercy And obedience. The first 5 were wise. Those who had the first 5 entered. The other 5 thought that by The last 5 they would enter in. The parable of the ten virgins is in the 2 nd Revelation of Peter in the apocryphal. If you don't understand some of the parables Jesus will tell you plainly if you seek. To the Father be All the Glory and Salvation through Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

What happens to the five virgins Left Behind? These are they with whom the Beast maketh war with, and overcometh (book of Revelation); thou some know their God, and do exploits(Daniel). So what is the oil? Every believer needs it so what is it! I thought for a moment you might've stumbled onto somewhat. The oil is something you can purchase, buy. Can someone please tell me where "10 present at a marriage contract" comes from? I see Ruth 4:2, but does this mean one needs 10 witnesses for a wedding? (I had always thought it was 2)?
It's a diversion. That is what the enemy's preachers do. They distract you from what Jesus meant by focusing on so many insignificant details that you forget the point of the parable. I am posting a solid teaching on the Parable of the Ten Virgins on my channel tomorrow, followed by part 2 on the Talents and part 3 on the Sheep and the Goats. I tend to agree. The five wise virgins can be seen in the letter to the church of Philadelphia in which Christ tells them that he will keep them from the hour of trial. They were faithful, and were to be kept from the time of tribulation. The foolish virgins were not ready, and will have to be made ready through the fire of tribulation. They are pictured in Revelation 7 as suddenly appearing before God and the Lamb - not as the bride, but as servants in the temple. Why, because they missed the wedding feast.

What Christians need to understand is this. What makes one wise and one foolish? Read Mt 5,6,7. Especially MT 7. Jesus clearly explains this. Oil does not represent the Holy Spirit as He cannot be bought. Read Acts 8.

Not to worry, there are idolators and the oppressor also cast out into outer darkness for they repent not! This brings into being the five foolish virgins in Mathew, an why they came up short on oil! So, they were acceptable, otherwise, they would not have been betrothed. Yes, they were engaged to be married. What does anyone on earth do to enter into the body/group of the bridesmaids? Be washed in the blood of the lamb and accept him as personal Lord and savior. 2. What was the true meaning of the oil in the lamps? Well, it is well known that the oil is the Holy Spirit, the anointing. Oil is used through the Bible when a King was accepted by God 1 Samuel 16:12-13 or Preist Exodus 40:15; Numbers 3:3 or Prophets 1 Kings 19:16 or anyone endowed with Gods power (Acts 1:8) Jesus who was sinlessly received the Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:16 and the Holy Spirit came upon him then God said he was his son. If anyone wants to be called the son or daughter of God they must do likewise. You clean yourself out with Jesus' blood and Jesus comes into you then as Jesus did you must be anointed by the Holy Spirit. THAT IS PUTTING THE OIL IN YOUR VESSEL! Then you lamp (which is what you broadcast to others) show brightly with the essence of God. Remember we are to be a light unto the world: Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." That is the Godly light of the lamp that is feed by the Holy Spirit. If you have no oil in your vessel then you will never have any for your lamp. Doing good things is not good enough it has to be done in the power of the Holy Spirit, directed by God and triggered by the Love of Jesus in your heart. The five fools (foolish) virgins did not do this. They had accepted the cleaning by the blood but didn't fill their souls/vessels with the Holy Spirit. The Bible says in Matthew 25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them...they took no oil with them....because they had not received the Holy Spirit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T BE A FOOL AND BE LEFT ON THIS PLANET DURING THE TRIBULATION PERIOD. If you have accepted Jesus seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit. kishan kt .. Sorry... Scott Peck’s book doesn’t touch on this parable at all... much deeper meaning than relationship between laziness and self-love. Such an explanation totally ignores our vital relationship with God... Holy Spirit’s wisdom is needed to flesh this out in it’s entirety and accuracy. The Syriac Peshitta(1896), as well as the Aramaic Peshitta (5th century), both state in Matthew 25:1, "Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to greet the bridegroom and BRIDE". The word "BRIDE" was omitted from the KJV and other newer versions, but if you look at the original text, this proves the BRIDE is already with the bridegroom when the ten virgins go out to meet the bridegroom, which means that we are already in heaven. Therefore, the ten virgins very well could be the wedding guests, or the Jews and those left behind. Just trying to offer a little meat to your video. God bless you.
Why are parables by Jesus so important? Parables reveal things kept secret from the foundation of the world. (Mat. 13:34-35) A parable is a simple story highlighting a profound truth. Discovering the meaning is not in the details. It’s understanding the main point at the end of each story. The intent is to teach the mysteries of heaven for those having ears to hear. (Mat. 13:10-16) Jesus taught three parables during His Olivet Discourse. Each story tells us what happens AFTER the Son of Man delivers His elect from the wrath to come. (Mat. 24:45-51; 25:1-13, 14-30) The first parable is about a faithful servant who becomes evil while His Master is away. His Master will come back on a day he is not looking for Him; an hour he is not aware of. This evil servant will be given a portion with the hypocrites; where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Mat. 24:45-51) The second parable is about ten virgins. Five are wise and five are foolish. At the coming of the Bridegroom, the wise virgins will enter the kingdom of heaven. The Bridegroom doesn’t know the foolish virgins with no oil. These unsaved virgins will not be allowed in. (Mat. 25:1-13) The third parable is about three servants given talents by their Lord. When He comes back, the two servants found faithful will enter into the joy of their Lord. The servant that buried his talent and became wicked is cast into outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Mat. 25:14-30) Our Lord concludes with a sheep and goat metaphor. Watchmen 144k ..Not necessarily so. In Revelation 3:18 we are counselled to “buy” from God gold refined and tested by fire...indicating there is a “cost” involved on our part. Why not Oil also..? To be considered at the very least.

Parables are not used by Jesus to make things more complex. Jesus is saying be born again, follower Jesus, don't fall away and live ready!

It should be 10 as the Ten Commandments. Five representing Grace (5 means grace).

Jesus' second coming, He is called the Bridegroom. The 5 have no oil and take animal mark 666 to buy oil. And therefore Jesus will not know them
He is not explaining the beautiful message in this parable of virgins. This is about the relationship between laziness and self love. Please read Scott Peck's Road less traveled.

The parable is not about laziness vs vigilance. What you and so many others need to look at is this:
1. All ten were called to the wedding. So, they were acceptable, otherwise, they would not have been betrothed. Yes, they were engaged to be married. What does anyone on earth do to enter into the body/group of the bridesmaids? Be washed in the blood of the lamb and accept him as personal Lord and savior.
2. What was the true meaning of the oil in the lamps? Well, it is well known that the oil is the Holy Spirit, the anointing. Oil is used through the Bible when a King was accepted by God 1 Samuel 16:12-13 or Preist Exodus 40:15; Numbers 3:3 or Prophets 1 Kings 19:16 or anyone endowed with Gods power (Acts 1:8) Jesus who was sinlessly received the Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:16 and the Holy Spirit came upon him then God said he was his son. If anyone wants to be called the son or daughter of God they must do likewise. You clean yourself out with Jesus' blood and Jesus comes into you then as Jesus did you must be anointed by the Holy Spirit. THAT IS PUTTING THE OIL IN YOUR VESSEL! Then you lamp (which is what you broadcast to others) show brightly with the essence of God. Remember we are to be a light unto the world: Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." That is the Godly light of the lamp that is feed by the Holy Spirit. If you have no oil in your vessel then you will never have any for your lamp. Doing good things is not good enough it has to be done in the power of the Holy Spirit, directed by God and triggered by the Love of Jesus in your heart.
The five fools (foolish) virgins did not do this. They had accepted the cleaning by the blood but didn't fill their souls/vessels with the Holy Spirit. The Bible says in Matthew 25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them...they took no oil with them....because they had not received the Holy Spirit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T BE A FOOL AND BE LEFT ON THIS PLANET DURING THE TRIBULATION PERIOD. If you have accepted Jesus seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit. kishan kt .. Sorry... Scott Peck’s book doesn’t touch on this parable at all... much deeper meaning than relationship between laziness and self-love. Such an explanation totally ignores our vital relationship with God... Holy Spirit’s wisdom is needed to flesh this out in it’s entirety and accuracy. Jim Watts’ explanation prior to this comment rings true.
THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST
The Syriac Peshitta(1896), as well as the Aramaic Peshitta (5th century), both state in Matthew 25:1, "Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to greet the bridegroom and BRIDE". The word "BRIDE" was omitted from the KJV and other newer versions, but if you look at the original text, this proves the BRIDE is already with the bridegroom when the ten virgins go out to meet the bridegroom, which means that we are already in heaven. Therefore, the ten virgins very well could be the wedding guests, or the Jews and those left behind. Just trying to offer a little meat to your video. God bless you.
Why are parables by Jesus so important? Parables reveal things kept secret from the foundation of the world. (Mat. 13:34-35)
A parable is a simple story highlighting a profound truth. Discovering the meaning is not in the details. It’s understanding the main point at the end of each story. The intent is to teach the mysteries of heaven for those having ears to hear. (Mat. 13:10-16)
Jesus taught three parables during His Olivet Discourse. Each story tells us what happens AFTER the Son of Man delivers His elect from the wrath to come. (Mat. 24:45-51; 25:1-13, 14-30)
The first parable is about a faithful servant who becomes evil while His Master is away. His Master will come back on a day he is not looking for Him; an hour he is not aware of. This evil servant will be given a portion with the hypocrites; where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Mat. 24:45-51)
The second parable is about ten virgins. Five are wise and five are foolish. At the coming of the Bridegroom, the wise virgins will enter the kingdom of heaven. The Bridegroom doesn’t know the foolish virgins with no oil. These unsaved virgins will not be allowed in. (Mat. 25:1-13)
The third parable is about three servants given talents by their Lord. When He comes back, the two servants found faithful will enter into the joy of their Lord. The servant that buried his talent and became wicked is cast into outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Mat. 25:14-30)
Our Lord concludes with a sheep and goat metaphor. (Mat. 25:31-46) After the resurrection of the just and unjust Jesus will sit on His throne of glory and separate His sheep from the goats. (John 5:28-29, Acts 24:15, Mat. 25:31-32) Before the righteous give account to their Lord, the wicked will be cast into everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels. (Mat. 25:41-46; 13:41-42)
About the gold You forgot that it says you take what don't belong.

Watchmen 144k ..Not necessarily so. In Revelation 3:18 we are counselled to “buy” from God gold refined and tested by fire...indicating there is a “cost” involved on our part. Why not Oil also..? To be considered at the very least.
The oil is just oil. You can't go out and buy more of the Holy Spirit.
