To the one who is reading this comment, this prayer is for you. I pray that God will wipe away every tear and pain that you are going through right now. That he will comfort you and your moments of loneliness and sorrow. The bible said “Come unto me all who are weary and are heavy burdened. I will give you rest”. Praying for you all. In Jesus Name. Amen

Sorry, but he was a founder of the Shepherding Movement, which was not of God and devastated many in the Body of Christ. His first wife was distraught with his involvement. Derek Prince withdrew in 1983, stating his belief that "we were guilty of the Galatian error: having begun in the Spirit, we quickly degenerated into the flesh."

He could be right but here is my interpretation of the parable. The virgins are just broken into two groups one representing believers who have the holy spirit one representing unbelievers who do not have the holy spirit that is consistent with the theme of the rest of the New Testament and the new Covenant. All people will be one day meeting the Lord Jesus and resurrected from the dead the righteous to eternal life and the unrighteous to judgment and death. The Bible says the fool says in his heart there is no God. Fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom. John 3:16 those who accept Christ will not perish but have eternal life those who reject Christ will Perish. So those who are saved are wise, are known by the Lord, and our filled with the Holy Spirit, and therefore are prepared for the return of the Lord. The foolish cannot borrow off the wise, in other words you cannot live off the faith of another person. And when the lord comes back it's too late to repent at that time which is why are the foolish virgins who went off to buy some oil were too late. In summary this parable was just consistent with what we know of the literal parts of scripture where there are always two groups: the sheep in the goats, the wheat and the tares, the wicked and the righteous and so on.

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. John 12:24-26 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

I had a dream 4 days ago, of which interpretation and understanding I did not know until yesterday 05/07/2023.
    The dream:
There was a house with one floor quite big. The gates were wide open and the doors of the house be it the front, the back or side doors, were all open as well. The reason for these all doors and the gates to be open was that people could enter in and going out freely to get ready and prepare the house and themselves for an event which was about to come, a wedding. All these people knew each other like neighbours, friends or relatives.
I saw myself in a bedroom on the first floor were there was a young lady sitted on the edge of the bed and was looking at the two wedding dresses that were on the hangers beside the wall.
I approached the young bride and I intended to ask her what is that which retains her from dressing and getting ready, but as I took the action to approach her, another young lady came by and told me "no, she must wear the red dress first before the white one, but she doesn't want" so I asked the young bride "how come you don't want to wear the red dress, it is impossible for you to put on the white dress before wearing the red dress first, it is just no way for this to be possible. Don't you know that red means the blood of the Lamb, which is the Blood of Jesus who wash our sins away? "as I was finishing my message I woke up.
I was praying to the Lord to reveal to me the interpretation of this dream, so the Lord by His Grace gave me the understanding.
The preparation of the wedding banquet have started, the bride which are the believers are not all ready to go with the Lord because they have not washed their robes clean in the blood of the Lamb.
Even as the young bride in the dream, she was reluctant and did not want to wear the red dress so many refuse to go through the afflictions and suffering that the cross requires to transform their lives and to be washed from their sins.
    Glory to God
Maranatha our Lord is Coming 🙌🙌🙌.

Scripture says that a day is coming, a famine, not of bread or water, but of hearing the Word of God.
Jesus said that blessed are they that hear the Word of God and KEEP it.
Jesus spoke of a wise servant that prepared and distributed a word in season to those lost in the commotion, likened to the preparation of both Joseph and Obadiah.
As in the days of Noah, Jesus advised to lay up in store for a similar metaphorical time, where he was tasked to bring in all types of food to sustain every creature in the ark.
Conclusion: The oil is The Word of God.
Whatever level of internal sustenance one can maintain from memory is the volume in the lamp.
The extra vessel with the lamp is your physical Bible. You cannot let go of that because you need it yourself.
Going to buy one if you didn't heed Jesus' other parables such as "return not to your house" "take nothing out of your house" or "go not up to the rooftop".... that might become perilous.
Make sure you always have your, or a Bible on you at all times, just think about Moses' words, bind them on your hand, as frontlets before your eyes...
If you are a person "of means", please take up this charge, millions are going to need it.
One day, we will rejoice , but with sadness also, as God is not willing that ANY should perish.

The key to understand Ten Virgin parables is in previous chapter Matthew 24, Jesus advised His disciples to be a watchful servants and be a faithful servants.
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your...".
“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, ..."
then Jesus gave the parable of the Ten Virgins to describe what happen with the foolish and the wise / watchful servants , and the parable of bag of gold, to describe what happen to the lazy and the faithful servants.
what is the meaning of the ten virgin parable ?
oil is required to keep the lamp burning, and the lamp should keep burning while waiting for the groom, without the burning lamp the bride won't be able to meet the groom.
We will find the answer from Israelites, they keep the lamp burning in God's temple, (wikipedia, sanctuary lamp), It symbolizes God's eternal presence and is therefore never extinguished.
be watchful means don't let Jesus glory depart from us, whatever the reason.
be faithful means be fruitful, to know and to keep doing God's will.

[18] I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. I believe that this parable goes with Revelation 3:4. The oil is the Holy Spirit. ALL 10 of them had the Holy Spirit at one time, meaning ALL were saved. However, some of us soiled/defiled our garments (robe given when saved) after being saved, and that no amount of praying for forgiveness is going to remove the stains. Therefore, those Christians who defiled their garments will not be taken in the first rapture (dead or alive), and will not get to participate in the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, and will receive no rewards. They will have to wait until the second half of the tribulation before they get to go (dead or alive) and then they will be accepted into heaven....but no rewards. This is how I interpret the parables of the 10 virgins.

I truly believe that he is an amazing God centered man. I have never seen Derek Prince before today and I am blessed by all his work and will keep listening to his sermons. What I have been shown is something for the time of the end…. The Mark of the Beast will be in effect when Jesus comes for His Bride..
Matthew 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that SELL and BUY for yourselves. 10 And while they went to BUY, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
The foolish took the Mark of Beast and were fooled because they hung out with the Christians.. and the reason they were fooled was because they believed they would be raptured before the Mark of the Beast comes.
I was shown this before being called as an evangelist.. it was 20 yrs ago n it was not even close to what I was taught so I put that journal away… 20 yrs later I am shown again but this time after years of study on Matthew 24 it now made sense. Especially when almost everywhere you go to church the majority of people believe in the false pre trib rapture. They read the books on rapture but DO NOT TEST IT BY THE WORD OF GOD….

In this parable I believe it is speaking of five virgins who have the indwelling Holy Spirit and five that do not. In the O.T. the prophets had the Holy Spirit come upon them and fill them but then depart for a time. It took the Holy Spirit baptism for a believer to have the permanent indwelling which first occurred In Acts ch 2.
Because the five are called virgins I believe that they represent believers who have believed the gospel, repented, and were water baptized but had mistakenly believed or were told they had recieved the Holy Spirit when they had not.
The Holy Spirit baptism is to be prayed for after repentance and water baptism until the Lord answers your prayer and fills you. Then you must yield the last vestige of your will your tongue. You do so until the Holy Spirit takes control of it ( " tames it") and enables you to speak in the spiritual language our English translation calls " tongues".
Once this happens it triggers the baptism overflow. At that point the Holy Spirit joins with the believers spirit and remains in the believer .

    • @robertnieten7259
      @robertnieten7259 Год назад

@@kayzee9547 Thanks for your reply. Concerning Rom,10:9 not saying anything about baptism.
First of all, it must be taken into account that
all of Pauls' writings begin with " To the saints of. ". All of his letters were written to already saved/ born again believers not as evangelistic letters designed to reach sinners but as further instructions in the faith to believers equivalent to our Bible studies today. The unsaved are welcome to attend but their main focus is those who are already saved.
The birth of the Christian church was in the book of Acts not in the letter to the Roman's thus the plan of salvation obviously should be found there.
What changed was the protestant reformers approach to salvation.
      As the noted protestant and author Tozier wrote concerning proestantism;
" In our zeal to escape the " saved by works "of the catholics we have gone too far the other way to faith without obedience."
And as the martyr Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote concerning how God views saving faith, " Only he who believes obeys and only he who obeys believes"
The reason that Romans 10:9, being used as a salvation verse, usually stops there is because Roman's 10:10 let's us know that salvation is a process: " For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"
"Believing unto righteousness "is to begin by believing and to end up right with God. Salvation is a process because we are not just talking about being saved but being born again. Just as natural insemination to birth is a process so is recieving the " seed" of the Word with the end result being a spiritual rebirth.
Repentance and water baptism complete one another. If you truly repent you obey and are water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins ( Acts 2:38). As Peter said in Acts ch 3, "God gives the Holy Spirit to those who obey".
Water baptism is completed by Spirit baptism. This is being born again of water and Spirit.
Lastly, look at the conversion of Saul/ Paul.
He was in Damascus for three days fasting, repenting, and praying. He believed but something was still lacking in his salvation experience. Ananias then came in and said to him, " Why tarriest thou ? ( What are you waiting for?) Arise and be baptized and wash away your sins calling on the name of the Lord".

about the ten virgins, the difference there is the 5 were foolish and the 5 are wise..if you believe in God and his works,if u were the wise and knew the other 5 is foolish..You will guide them and teach them.. but they didn't do it and they save their own self..because they even took the oil and knowing that the 5 didnt took extra oil..if the wise told the 5 foolish to buy extra oil while they are waiting for the bridegroom, the foolish will never be late..and if the wise told the bridegroom that they were late because they took all the extra oil maybe the bridegroom will let them enter.. if they share all the extra oil it will never be enough as they said..humans were created different knowledge, some are smart but some is not.. but if the smart one teach them or guide them, they will learn..if u are wise/smart u are blessed,in that blessing what u need to do is to share ur knowledge..thats why in the end of that verse..The Final Judgement is for those →40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers,[f] you did it to me.’.... the wise virgin didnt do it to their sisters, help and guide the foolish.. Thats why in my work,i always teach those who are difficult to understand how to do the work..because we are not all have the same understanding and knowledge..what matter is how we help others and guide them..its not about the oil, its about ur sisters/brothers/family.. its about Love..

This is the TRUE meaning given to me by the HOLY SPIRIT:
There were 10 virgins. All 10 had lamps ( Bibles, Your Word is a lamp unto my feet). All 10 went out to meet the bride groom ( as you are doing now) All 10 fell asleep ( as did the 3 deciples Jesus took with him when he went to pray in the Garden) ( We all fall asleep sometimes) All 10 woke up in time. When they went to trim their lamps, 5 realized that they didn't have oil. The other 5 brought oil with them ( it doesn't say how much) in jars. The oil is the Holy Spirit. Their bodies are the jars of clay that contains the Holy Spirit. The Word of God only gives it's light when there is Holy Spirit oil. The 5 foolish virgins lamps went out because they had no Holy Spirit oil. The 5 wise virgins told the other 5 to go buy oil from those who sell it ( this takes you to the parable of the widow's oil) but it was too late for these 5 foolish virgins. They never KNEW Jesus. If they had known him, they would have had oil in jars to take with them. This also parallels the offerings made by Cain and Able. If Cain had known God, he would have known what offering to take to him. So here we are, How many of you really have the Holy Spirit to illuminate those lamps?

Lamp relates to light, lightening the way or to enlighten(teachings and doctrines etc). Oil is used for anointing.
Anointing is the ritual act of pouring aromatic oil over a person's head or entire body. The primary purpose of anointing with the holy anointing oil was to sanctify, to set the anointed person or object apart as qodesh, or "holy" (Exodus 30:29). Priests, prophets and kings were anointed.
Exodus 40:9 Take the anointing oil and anoint the TABERNACLE and everything in it; consecrate it and all its furnishings, and it will be holy.
Moses was instructed to “anoint” the “tabernacle”.
The Word/Christ, the flesh, is the “tabernacle”.
Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us.
You saw Christ as an “idol” which led to you looking skyward for the returning of your King, coming from the sky(literally) for his kingdom(which is not going to happen), when, if you had “eyes” to see would have known how the tabernacle(in our midst), which is Christ, would look like.
But since you are clueless, you have denied Christ in “the flesh”(no oil in your teachings/lamp)
1Jn 4:3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the ANTICHRIST you heard is coming, and even now is ALREADY in the world.
In other words, if your lamp carries no oil(Matt 25:3), it means in your doctrines or teachings you have left out or have no oil to anoint “the tabernacle”(house of god in your land/nation) in our midst.
You have DENIED Christ, and Christ shall also deny you.
Mat 10:32 Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven.
Mat 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.
The “oil” has gone to the east. The WEST(in god we trust) is burning(your House is on fire).
Joh 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Th doctrines of man(of Abrahamic religion) have brought damNATION.

The translators added "Extra oil" to the text which is not in the greek or the KJV or NASB and a few others. Technically you can light a lamp or torch without oil but not for very long. Oil is a metaphor for the Holy Spirit but its debatable here.
The legalists claim this refers to being filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18) hence oil in the lamp. Under this delusional interpretation You have to be filled with the Spirit or risk being left out or left behind. Were this to be true 100% of believers would be left out like the 5 unwise, because being filled with the Spirit is being unyielding and under His influence moment by moment which nobody is 100% of the time. Paul said in Romans 8:9 If any man has not the Holy Spirit he does not belong to God.
Every born again believer has been sealed unto/until the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13-4:30). While we can under the New Covenant Grieve (Eph 4:30)or Quench the Spirit(1 Thess 5:19) , He will never leave us because the Spirit was given forever (John 14:16). In the OT the Holy Spirit came upon select individuals for servive until the HS left an individual like king Saul because of sin from which David pleaded with God take not your Holy Spirit (Psalm 51:11.
Paul also said in Romans 9:22-23 Some are vessels of wrath, some vessels of honor. This fits the 5 Unwise and 5 wise virgins. One group unsaved, the other born again. The entire false narrative can be destroyed by two words:"Know and NOT". "Know is OIDA meaning full knowledge, absolute knowledge or that wich is without doubt rather than a progress in knowledge.
Know is used here in this parable in the perfect tense meaning past action with present and future results. "NOT (OUK) is an adverb , a negative participle that objectively negates a statement. Here it rules out as a fact of any prior relationship. Jesus is saying I dont know you from the past , i dont know you now and the fact the door was shut negates any future relationship. In todays venacular we would say something like "I don't know you from Adam.

With all due respect to DP, This is the typically bad theology that floats around the Church.
First off the number ten means law or order. 5 means Grace so these are two groups of Covenant people. There’s two covenants. The oil does represent the Holy Spirit but one group DOESN’T have the oil. That’s the problem. The funny part about this is that it’s not that difficult. He’s describing the rapture and the wedding supper of the Lamb.
Jesus audience was the Jews. They thought they knew God but in actuality they were living under the law. The Old Covenant was law and the New Covenant is Grace and the Spirit of God. The Bible is constantly making this case through symbolism and typology. Two trees, two sisters, two brothers and in every story the younger is favored over the older..
Why? Because they represent the two covenants.
So these two groups of virgins represent the two covenants peoples. They’re always represented by either sons or brides because we’re sons to the father but we’re the bride to Christ.
So, one group has the oil and the other didn’t. Paul clearly explains in Romans 8 that if you have the Holy Spirit then you’re a child of God but if you don’t you’re none of His.
This is why He says I NEVER knew you. It’s not about saved people losing their salvation. It’s about a group of people that thought they knew God but didn’t. That’s the Jews. When the rapture happens we as believers will go up to the wedding feast of the Lamb while they will be down here suffering and being broken of their pride so when Christ finally returns they will finally be ready and willing to receive Him just like Joseph’s brothers did.
If it were Christians it would be those in name only who don’t have the Holy Spirit.
The Bible says that we’re all filled with the Spirit.
It’s not like we’re trying to get more. We’re already filled so this whole interpretation is missing the point.
Everyone is looking to find a way to disqualify believers but if you’re saved you’re saved.
Jesus knows you and you’re His regardless of your actions

Reading the books of the New Testament, we probably asked ourselves more than once: *"Why 2000 years we do not see those miracles that accompanied the Сhurch of Christ in the I century, as described in the New Testament?"* Why do the so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed and atheists boldly deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Сhurch of Christ has not existed for 2000 years?
The Сhurch does not exist in the form in which it is presented in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other christian sects claiming to be the place of the Church, but they not have the only thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic of just the Сhurch of Christ -the reinforcement of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mark 16:15-20). Therefore, some researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and some of them are not opposed to declaring him a an ordinary philosopher, teacher. But even if Jesus were an ordinary philosopher, his disciples would be ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not dare to write about the miracles that not only Jesus, but also his disciples, could perform. In this world, the great fertility of atheism can be explained by the fact that there is no main opponent of critics of the Bible - the Church. If there were the Church in our time as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed, the sick are healed, where prophesied, and the dead are raised, no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then there would be the same controversy throughout the world as in the first century - Jesus the Son of God or the false prophet who seduces the world by miracles. As a result, we can say that the emergence and development of christian sects and atheism was the result of the fact that over the 2000 years the Сhurch of Christ did not exist.

I'm gonna have to disagree with him on this one. you can't buy the Holy Spirit so this may not be actually speaking of the Holy Spirit...remember when simon the sorcerer was almost killed and was rebuked sharply by peter for wanting to "buy" the Holy Spirit.

You didn’t listen well. He’s not saying that you can buy the Holy Spirit. He is saying that you have to endure in being filled with the Holy Spirit. Listen to the end

His 'buying' is a metaphor for sacrifice and faithfulness, not money.... A righteous spiritual sacrifice is required.

Examine or test His speech. We can often miss and reject certain valuable teaching, or prophecy if we don't carefully analyse.
We offer praise and thanksgiving as sacrifice also.

I don't agree with this teaching.
First, Jesus is refering to the 'Kingdom of heaven' which is promised to Israel, not to the church. Second, the church is not the bride of Jesus, but Israel is.
Then this parabel does not refer ti the church but to Israel, during the tribulation. The oil does and cannot refer to the holy spirit, because the holy spirit is only for the church and not for Israel.

    Holy Spirit ! 👈🤪🚩
Acts 8:20 tells us that the guy wanted to buy the

He's a wolf. The parable is for Israel. It's not for the church. They had to buy because they took the mark. Don't let this guy bring you into bondage. He's a wolf. Much love :)

    Nope!
One cannot store the Holy Spirit in vessels, not can one Buy or Sell the Holy Spirit.
    What does this mean?
I means that this guy is merely another of the many false teachers that Jesus warned us about.
    Run, run for your lives....
