Matthew 23:37 & 38 precede vs. 39, which was Jesus telling them the end of Jerusalem and the temple was coming, as well as what he said in Matthew 24 about it's destruction. The remnant in Romans 11 did come to Christ. All the apostles did, as well as the 3,000 on the day of Pentecost. Then the gospel went to the Gentiles starting with Cornelius in Acts 10. The Jews can be saved now if they turn to Christ in faith and repentance. There won't be a second chance when Jesus comes back. They need the gospel now.

@@donnagarcia4541 Father GOD gave me a waking vision of in the clouds in a glorified body. I've never felt so well and the bag of burden I drag with me was GONE! I felt so lite and free like I could fly BUT it wasn't that big. Looked big enough for hundreds maybe thousands. The devil is counting on false hope and so many have it. False hope = when millions upon millions and now billions disappear in the rapture. These are the people that when their false hope is gone they will give up many just to eat.
I had a pestilence dream too. It was instant insanity as everyone tried to kill everyone else. Only a FEW are going in the rapture, all have had many chances with a relationship with Father and Brother. So many of you are missing it, Father and Brother are so kind and humble.
Breaks my heart. Jesus paid in pain to cover our sins and so many are missing it over temporary pleasures.

Modern day Israel is a secular nation that became a nation by political means, through a Zionist movement that began in the 1800s, and culminated in 1948 nationhood by the U.N. My two Jewish Christian friends told me that the people of Israel that live there now have no right to have that land because God took it back from the Jews in 70 AD when Jerusalem was destroyed. They are right too, because Jesus said this was going to happen in the gospels of Luke, Matthew & Mark. Read about it in Luke 21 for instance. That ended the old covenant age and the nation.
Modern day Israel is not the same as Israel in the Bible. Biblical Israel was God's covenant people for a time, until Jesus came and died on the cross for all of us, including the Jewish people of that old covenant. They looked forward to the Messiah and his sacrifice on the cross and we look back to him and the cross. We are all one in Christ, because there is no Jew or Gentile in Him (Ephesians 2:11-15). Galatians 3:28-29 says "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave[a] nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise." This is about the new covenant. We are the new covenant nation of God (see 1 Peter 2:9). There are 2 covenants: the Sinai Covenant which the Jews broke it's Terms and Conditions and led to various curses and their exile from the land and was atoned for by Christ. Then another Covenant, the New covenant God promised in Jeremiah 31:31 which is different from the Old Covenant, brought by Christ for both Jews and Gentiles, that ushers in an age of righteousness which culminates into the establishment of God's everlasting Kingdom as envisioned in Daniel 7:13..
Jews will not be part of the New Covenant unless they enter into a covenant with the Messiah. The first Covenant was a communal covenant whilst the second is an individual covenant.
If you say God's People, are you refering to the Old Covenant or the New Covenant? You need to distinguish.

Wow. This gives validity that gaza conflict is a separation of sheep and goats as my spirit felt. I already had known that the famous verses about doing ir not doing for Jesus flock was about the jews though the church generalized it beyond the jews so much so that the jews got left out in understanding of the intent.

Wow, this is timely. Ever since October 7, 2023, a bunch of my neighbors who are Christian became very proudly antisemitic and full of bitterness and jealousy towards the Jewish people and Israel. Other Christians support Israel but they vehemently argued their replacement theology beliefs. As Christians, how should we think about Israel? First, the modern nation state of Israel is not the heir of God’s promises to ancient Israel. And second, as followers of Jesus seeking first God’s kingdom and God’s justice we are called to seek the good of all peoples, including both Israelis and Palestinians equally.
Let’s start with this: The modern nation state of Israel is not the heir of God’s promises to ancient Israel. I know it’s tempting to think it is. It is true that there are some strong promises made to Israel in the Old Testament, promises which are reiterated in one way or another in the New Testament (see especially Rom 9:4-5 and 11:28-29). And it is true that modern Israel was founded to be a home for the Jewish people, a safe haven from anti-Semitic oppression-quite an amazing story, to be sure, after Hitler’s attempted genocide of the Jews.
But the modern nation state of Israel is not the heir of God’s promises to ancient Israel-and here are a couple of reasons why.
First, it is simply wrong to equate modern Israel with ancient Israel-they are two different things entirely. Ancient Israel was a theocratic monarchy in covenant with the Lord, a covenant centered on the Torah, the Law of Moses. Modern Israel, while making special provision for Jewish citizenship and drawing on Jewish ideals and values, claims (or at least aims) to be a secular liberal democracy. It makes no official claim to be in a divine covenant and does not have the Torah as the basis of its laws.
Just as many people equate “Palestinian” with “Muslim,” so many people equate “Israeli” with “Jewish.” Both equations are false. As for the “Palestinian = Muslim” equation, there is in fact a small but significant Palestinian Christian community. And as for the “Israeli = Jewish” equation, the ethnic and religious demographics of Israel are much more complex than this. Around 20% of Israelis are Arab, most of those practicing Muslims, and over 40% of Jewish Israelis identify themselves as “secular Jews”-Jews by ethnicity only, not by religion.
It was ancient Israel, a theocratic, tribalistic society that became a monarchy, that God brought into covenant with himself through Moses. I’m glad that the modern nation of Israel strives to be a liberal democracy, but that in itself means it is not the equivalent of ancient Israel.
But even if modern Israel could be equated with ancient Israel, it still would not be the heir of God’s promises to ancient Israel-because the biblical writings themselves suggest otherwise. Let us sketch out some of this biblical theology with a special focus on the Apostle Paul’s angle on things, since he’s got the most to say on the question among New Testament authors.
The promises to ancient Israel go back to Abraham. According to Genesis 12, repeated and expanded in Genesis 15 and 17, God makes a two-part promise to Abraham: first, God promises to bless Abraham with many descendants, and with provision and protection and land-yes, land-for him and his descendants; and second, God promises to bless all the peoples of the earth through Abraham and his descendants.
Both parts of this promise are crucial, and they point to an important biblical pattern: God blesses the few in order to bring blessing to the many. God can even bless just one person-Abraham, David, Jesus-in order to bring blessing to all people. God never blesses people simply so they can hoard it to themselves, so they can have privileged status with God or before others. God blesses people so that through them God can bless others.
This idea is repeated in the next big covenant God makes, the covenant with Israel given through Moses. This is the covenant that created ancient Israel as a nation. In this covenant God repeats the same promises to Abraham-God will bless Israel with people, protection, provision, and land-yes, still land-and they are in turn to be a blessing to the nations around them. This is the idea behind God calling them “a holy nation and a royal priesthood” as he covenants with them (Exodus 19:3-6): they are separated out from the nations and specially blessed by God, in order to be like priests for the nations, mediating God’s blessing to the world.
But this covenant through Moses had one important difference from the covenant with Abraham: it was conditional. With Abraham God just gave a straight up promise: God says, “I will do these things,” period. With Israel God put a condition on the promises: if Israel obeys God’s law, then God will do these things (reread Exodus 19:5). Abraham’s promise was unconditional, Israel’s was conditional on their obedience.
And, according to ancient Israel’s own prophets, Israel broke the covenant (e.g. Jeremiah 11:1-13; cf. Deuteronomy 31:16-21). They disobeyed God’s law, they committed idolatry and injustice and more. And so, as the biblical story goes, they were sent into exile, to Assyria and Babylon and beyond.
God, however, remained faithful to Israel even through their unfaithfulness-and promised a new covenant (e.g. Jeremiah 31:31-34; Ezekiel 16:59-63). This new covenant would be like the covenant through Moses in that it would fulfill the promises to Abraham. But this new covenant would not be like the covenant through Moses in one important respect: it would not be conditional on Israel’s obedience but it would be based solely on God’s love and faithfulness.
Many of the New Testament writings pick up on this new covenant motif, and they all insist that Jesus is the one who brings in this new covenant. To use Paul’s language, Jesus is the descendant (the “seed,” Gal 3:16) of Abraham who fulfills the promises God gave to Abraham, blessing for Abraham’s descendants and blessing for all the peoples of the earth. But here’s the kicker: it turns out the descendants of Abraham include the peoples of the earth, the Gentiles.
For Paul, this is the way that God’s promise to Abraham is fulfilled: through Jesus the Jewish Messiah both Jews and Gentiles (non-Jews) can be children of Abraham and heirs of the promises to Abraham. Take a look at a few excerpts from Paul:
Romans 9:6-8: “Not all Israelites truly belong to Israel, and not all of Abraham’s children are his true descendants; but ‘It is through Isaac that descendants shall be named for you.’ This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as descendants.”
Galatians 3:28-29: “There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to the promise.” Ephesians 2:11-15: “You [Gentiles] were at that time without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ…He has abolished the law with its commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new humanity in place of the two.”
Through Jesus God’s promises to Abraham are fulfilled: the blessing given to the few is extended to all. Through Jesus God is making a new humanity that does not divide between “us” and “them,” a new humanity that together receives the fulfillment of God’s promises to Abraham.
And this includes the promise of “land.” It is a curious thing that, while the New Testament refers to Abraham and the Abrahamic promises many times, the specific promise of “land” is never explicitly mentioned. Scholars have long scratched their heads at this, but in light of Paul’s broader perspective this seems to be the most likely reason: the land promise is like the rest of the promise to Abraham-it has been fulfilled in Christ, and is seen in the blessing given to the nations. In other words, the land the children of Abraham receive, all those who believe whether Jew or Gentile, is not just a strip of land on the Mediterranean Sea, but the whole earth.
To put this yet another way, the fulfillment of the land promise to Abraham through Christ is really a return to God’s original purpose for humanity: all of us, created in God’s image, extending God’s kingdom of love and faithfulness throughout the whole earth (Gen 1:26-28).

No, not referring to the church. Btw, in Greek there is no word "church". When scripture translates the word to church, it is wrong. The word means " an Assembly or gathering.
We learn in Matthew 2:14-15 that Jesus Christ is Israel and is the ultimate fulfillment of the prophecy in Hosea 11:1. Jesus came out of Egypt, passed through the waters, and was tempted in the wilderness, just like Israel of old. National Israel failed to fulfill the Covenant of blessing as God's people as we read in Exodus 19:1-6. National Israel broke the Covenant God made with them (Jeremiah 11:10). Jesus, however, kept the Covenant law perfectly. As a perfect sinless Jew, Jesus kept all of the 10 commandments and through Him all the ceremonial laws were fully satisfied. Jesus Christ fulfilled the law, succeeding where Old Covenant Israel had failed. He then took the law and nailed it to His cross (Colossians 2:14-17). Since only Jesus met all of the conditions of the Covenant, it's only in and through Him that the Covenant is fulfilled. True Israel does not exist outside of Jesus Christ!
The apostle Peter had Exodus 19:1-6 in mind when writing his first epistle and he saw it fulfilled in the Church through Jesus Christ (in whom we become a kingdom of priests and a holy nation). 1 Peter 2:5-9 helps one to see that the Covenant God made with Israel in Exodus 19 was fulfilled by the Church through Jesus Christ. Revelation 1:6 and 5:10 confirm that born again believers are kings and priests (royal priesthood) and are a holy nation unto the Lord. Romans 9:6-9 confirms that we are not considered children of God by being born a natural Jew, rather we are children of God through the singular seed of Abraham (Jesus Christ - True Israel). We become the Israel of God through Jesus Christ. The Jewish lineage lost relevance when Jesus Christ fulfilled what they failed to do. The only reason that lineage was of any significance and importance was because that's the lineage by which Jesus Christ would come, the singular seed of Abraham.
Jesus came to fulfill what was required for our salvation, but He also came to fulfill the requirements for obtaining the promises to Israel. The promises of God always had Jesus Christ in view! This is clearly seen as we read Galatians 3. Verse 16 establishes that the promises made to Abraham and his seed was always referring to Jesus Christ. Verse 29 then confirms a powerful truth regarding how we can only be Abraham's offspring spiritually through Jesus Christ, not through natural descent/bloodline. Jesus is Israel (a nation of one) and we enter this nation of One through obedient faith in the gospel (Acts 2:38).
God's dealing with the physical nation of Israel was only a type and shadow of God's plan for Israel ultimately being fulfilled in Jesus Christ and His Church (True Israel). Ephesians 1:3 declares that we receive the promised blessings of the Covenant in Jesus Christ. So the Church doesn't replace Israel, rather it's a continuation of Israel (all of the faithful who put their trust in a promised Deliverer). Israel is no longer identified as a nation of this world, but as a holy nation in Christ that is not of this world. Jesus Christ and the Church is the fulfillment of all Old Testament prophecies regarding Israel. Since Jesus is Israel and he fulfilled the law, there can be no separate plan of salvation outside of the Church for the so-called nation of Israel over in the middle east. All men must become the True Israel of God through faith in Jesus Christ (the fulfillment of Israel). There aren't two Israel's with two separate bodies. He gave the land for His name sake; because Jesus Christ will be coming back there to reign on the earth for 1000 years (Revelations 20:1-6), Jerusalem will be His headquarters. The bible says in Romans 11:25, 26 " For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
