Lovely people. The very nice older man saying "...why spread hate. Everyone has to die. Why not die peacefully?"
There's a few powerful world leaders who never get that message. And never will.

There's a quote by Douglas Adams that goes something like "anyone who is capable of becoming president should on no account be allowed to do that job." I find that to be true.

@@DrippyWaffler Here it is. The entirety of Chapter 28 of The Restaurant at the End of the Universe: (a relatively short chapter!)
The major problem - one of the major problems, for there are several - one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them.
To summarize: it is a well known fact, that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job. To summarize the summary of the summary: people are a problem.
And so this is the situation we find: a succession of Galactic Presidents who so much enjoy the fun and palaver of being in power that they very rarely notice that they're not.
And somewhere in the shadows behind them - who?
Who can possibly rule if no one who wants to do it can be allowed to?

technically, experiment show that kids younger than 5y can be very "racist". Even to a point of wanting bad things to happen to those who like different type of candy. Seems that "us vs others " is hardwired into humanity.

That reminds me of the book The Help, set in 1960s America about black maids taking care of white babies. There is one character in particular who always leaves her job when the children get to a certain age (4,5 or 6 i think) because she cannot bear the transition of them adoring her one minute and then treating her like she is beneath them the next, when society tells them blacks are beneath them.

@coyotedust Same here, from a spinal injury more than 5 years ago now. Multiple surgeries later, I'm able to control my legs and feet fairly normally again; however, each surgery partially failed afterward and I am left with permanent disability and chronic severe pain so bad that it is hurts badly with every breath, and I can't sit down more than a few minutes in a row before the pain is excruciating, and sleep is disturbed literally every few minutes due to the severity of the pain. For more than 5 straight years now So, I have to try to distract my mind from the pain by watching a few channels I like, this one included. I actually never watched any podcasts or RUclips videos until after my injury had occurred and some months had passed, stuck laying down all day. I now watch a few channels I like and am distracted enough from the pain that when combined with slow, deep breathing, I'm able to cobble together some semblance of rest. Keep up the fight. The most important thing I have been trying to do is stop feeling like I have failed at so many things in life since the time that my injury occurred and the chronic severe pain began. Know that your chronic severe pain isn't your fault. Wherever you are in the world, I have empathy for what you're going through. Greetings from the Pacific Northwest, USA.

Ok, Reacting to the Greatest Artist of All times once again. Time to enjoy.
I wish younger fans could experience what we did back in the day.
My first concert ever was October 10, 1993, Dangerous World Tour Buenos Aires.
Since that day, I saw him live 32 times, both in concerts, award show presentations, etc, and had the honor of even meeting him in person three times, sharing a brief conversation and shaking his hand, made sure to let him know what he meant for all of us.
Last time I saw him was during This is it rehearsals.
His journey influenced and changed the whole path of my life.
Memories I'll take to my grave.

Michael is the best of the best. He is a symbol of humanity all over the world. When they were asked why some people wouldn't want them to watch his videos, they explained it so well. There is nothing bad in his videos. Actually, there never will be videos like those of Michael. He called them "short movies" and that's what they were. There was always a story behind them, shown in such a beautiful way. And everytime they came out, literally everyone knew. They were events. And all that without internet, social media etc. Michael was beyond famous. So please ignore all the hate.

The producer is so great at explaining. Muharam hears and listens. Abdul is from traditional times and ways, so... he will listen. But he won't accept or remember because, "The old ways are the only way life is sustained." Not willed. But is, Sustained. Our elders know more than we do.

Thank you ! I enjoyed watching their reactions and listening to their answers. Happy to hear how they got the message of love from Mj video. I agree with the one who said why hate if we all gonna die ? This world would be different if everyone would think like theese people think. I also like that Mj used the example of different countries dancing in peace . Mj the genius . Talented artist. There is no one and never will be a human like him . An amazing human. Humanitarian .

This song always manages to make me smile because of its background of union between different peoples and cultures. I have been able to travel all over the world thanks to my work and, in the end, all people seek the same thing, to live in peace and without having their lives complicated by conflicts that they did not ask for.

I love this! I do wish you guys had translated the lyrics for them though, since a lot of what he’s saying for this version is repeated. It seemed like they got the general gist of what was being said, but knowing what was said would be better, I think.

Every time I watch a video from this channel, I learn something important about life, thanks to these very wise people.

This was such a treat to watch. I always think about Michael in June as it was the month he sadly died. The only thing I wish was different is that you didn't show the guys the "Panther dance" that was so controversial.

    • @JohnnyNatrium
      @JohnnyNatrium 4 месяца назад

I think you didn't grasp what these bright gentlemen said. Maybe read their reactions carefully, and understand some of the things you can learn from it. Such as their thoughts about watching anything controversial, and maybe you can feel some of that individual power they have to watch, listen and reflect and interpret, connect and philosophize with the peace of knowing that they might feel any kind of way about something, or there might be any kind of controversial subject they may be exposed to (and importantly, take everything in with the possibility of feeling different ways about even one second of what they see and hear, and another way about the next second without letting one thing they disagree with cloud all the rest), and to not be scared, like so many Western civilizations today, about how it may victimize them - because they know they can experience something, and are well aware of it being a work of fiction and expression from another perspective than their own, and regardless of how they feel, they allow themselves, as humans naturally should, to move on; and if some good came out of it, that's great. If not, they have the power (which so many self-victimizing people deny themselves), to not be scarred or corrupted by it, but to simply feel, and do whatever they feel is best for them, and maintain their personal integrity and peace, and respect for themselves and others.

@@prettybxy77 I'm sorry, it read to me like 'you wish it were different -> that they didn't show a certain controversial part'. As in you wish they didn't show that part because it was controversial. I was thinking it must've been something that was part of the video (I myself find the Native American depiction rather saddening and could see it being a controversial thing so I thought it might've been that or the African part - not that I would've wanted any of it taken out either) but I see that your meaning was actually opposite to what I thought it was.

Funny Muharum puts *Bob Ross* in the same categories as Lionel Richie, and music in general. Today people listen to ASMR like it’s music - Bob Ross was before his and our time. We were so mesmerized we didn’t know what we were there for. What a gift! RIP; to this day his magic and talent is exploited.
