I wrote to Andy (and spoke with him at a Concert about this TV programme (and this Track in particular) For some reason he did not remember it. I have a faint cassette tape recording of the full show which I saw one Sunday night on a troublesome B&W TV set. I've used the cassette to learn these tunes. The first is a version of "Munster Buttermilk" and the second is "Tripping up the Stairs" I happened upon this video by accident and cannot contain my excitement. I feel like telling the whole World, but I want to keep it all to myself. !!!! Yeeee Haaaaa !!!!
I know that feeling!! 😄👍 The things we had to do to find and record music back then! I recorded some music one night on a radio station that kept tuning in and out, and The Cure's " Ten-fifteen On a Saturday Night " came on, and it was interposed throughout with classical music from the next station, and it gave the song an interesting strangeness. If you don't know the song, give it a listen; great bass line.
Three of the greatest musicians in the world - there's so much passion and life in their music that it makes me weep with the joy of living.. thank you for this!
ElGringoIrlandes - No doubt, I am with you. Fantastic gift given to us here. Redrum12 has given us a whole bunch too. I am awed by their contributions and by these wonderful musicians...and I am thirst(ier) and more nostalgic by the minute. One day in the early eighties, I chanced upon Cold Blow and the Rainy Night. Vynil. And I started to play Johnny Cope. And that was it. For life.

Andy's headstock light reflection @ 00:29 seconds has 8 points - the CHAOS wheel!
unbelievable again...thanks bilko!
Why, between the 3 of them, there's at least a hundred feet of strings!
I noticed that they're playing "Munster Buttermilk" as the first tune and "Tripping up the Stairs" as the second tune.
Lovely!
Ye keep coming up with the goods Sgt. Bilko! Fantastic stuff again, as always!
