@@kieancoba7661 The fact is that applying "woke" ideas to law enforcement is what led to dystopian conditions wherever such policies are/were practiced. And before you insist that "neglect' of the underprivileged is to blame, face the fact that it's the underprivileged who are most at the mercy of street crime. The privileged/wealthy/elite aren't exposed to street crime much at all. They live their lives in comfort, convenience and safety while everyday citizens and the underprivileged suffer.
And it isn't just that the everyday and underprivileged citizens are the direct victims of street crime, it's the fact that many urban grocery stores and pharmacies that everyday/underprivileged citizens depend upon are closing, leaving the poor without a place to shop for food or get their prescriptions filled.
"Woke" hasn't worked out very well for the very people "woke" was supposed to support.

I was in China for 2 months and what I saw in the subway station and on the subway was a lot of security personnel, there is also security personnel on the train platform. Before you even go into the subway station you have to put all your bags on a conveyor belt and they check them and they have a metal detector in their hand to check you for weapons and the like. Only then do you get into the subway station. Then there are what feels like 500 cameras installed everywhere in every subway station, but there are also a lot of cameras in the subway. The result is that crime in the subway stations is 0.0001 percent according to statistics. I would also like to say that my wife and I felt very safe during this time in China.
