Hi carameline firstly sorry to reply so late I sincerely apologise...well you can use shark fish ,cat fish which is mostly used to make this dish besides you can use even any other fish of ur choice....well for the sola you can use dry mango or if you don't hv tht then try n adjust with tamarind pulp ....the end result shall be little spicy n tangy hope this helps

Well you don't have to cook it for to long coz if you cook for long it gets gummy ill say 20 mints of cooks is good
