Can you be honest with me ? Do you think your a good person? Yes ? How many lies have you told in your life, have you stolen something, even if it’s little ? Have you ever used Gods name in vain ? Jesus said whoever looks at a women to lust for her has committed adultery with her in his heart, have you look with lust? I’m sure we have broken these commandments. So by your own admission via your conscious you have admitted to being a lying thieving blasphemous adulterer at heart do you still think your a good person ? You have to stand before God on judgment day, now if He judges you by those Ten Commandments do you think you’ll be innocent or guilty? Sin is so serious to God that He gives us capital punishment, death for our sins. The Bible says for the wages of sin is death, we earn death because we sin against God. But God provided a way out of hell. God "Jesus" in the flesh lived a perfect sinless life and paid our fine we owed God from our sins by suffering and dying on the cross. And on the third day He rose from the grave and defeated death, it was impossible that death could hold Him. And if you want to be saved you must repent of all your sins "which means turn from them"and not live a hypocritical life which means you say, I'm a Christian but still lie, steal and fornicate, and you must trust alone in Jesus not in good works or you being a good person and the Bible says God will give you everlasting life. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 . I'll forever be grateful that as a child I got to see Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Mitch Richmond, Chris Webber, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and hundreds of other NBA legends LIVE since my grandmother worked at Arco Arena (where the Sacramento Kings used to play) and we got season tickets from 1986 when I was only 3 years old all the way until 2005 when they retired. I've been to thousands of NBA games and at the time I almost took it for granted. Those were some very fun times! Kings sucked for 95% of those years but it was still a blast attending all those games! Especially in the early 2000s when Sacramento became a powerhouse that dominated the NBA and would've won the NBA finals had that scandal involving NBA refs not happened during the Kings/Lakers Western Conference Finals in 2003. I still think it's ridiculous how the NBA swept that shit under the rug as if it never happened. I lost so much respect for the NBA because of that and really don't bother watching it anymore. Such a shame!
To top it all off I legit was at Lebron James very first NBA game against the Sacramento Kings. Only 17,317 other people on earth can actually say that! 😍
Back in the good ol' days, when people new how to dribble during a fast break, and didn't need to grab the ball with two hands and travel 15 miles before they get the pace...
The way he would lean forward while in the air was so unique and amazing!! I don't think I've ever seen anybody recreate that kind of dunk the way Jordan did it, what a fucking legend.
MJ best basketball player ever, Vince Carter best dunker of all time Zack Levine might also be better than MJ. I would rate MJ number 3 all time dunker with Dominique and Dr.J. right on his heels.
Andrew7244 Crazy layups? Lol he dunked on everybody. What are you talking about layups bro? Have you seen Jordan play. No disrespect to Vince, but Jordan is best dunker.
Someone on the internet always has to be right...so it can be you....I've never seen Jordan play. Finishing at the rim= dunks and lay ups combined. And the degree of Difficulty of Vince Carter dunks far superior to MJ. Carter was bigger, more powerful, more explosive leaper...Jordan, all about the glide, hangtime... a bit more finesse but could be powerful. Jordan came first....Vince took it to another level...as a dunker only
Such a beast. No better time in history to watch NBA. They were actually competitive and tried their hardest to win games during this era. Now they only play to entertain and then start actually trying to win and caring about the game during the playoffs and finals. College basketball is so much more entertaining and competitive in my opinion. It has an intensity that you just don’t get from professional basketball
@@tlinscents so you don’t think it was a competitive era? With many stacked teams and legends and people who actually played defense and would shut people down or try their hardest to not let them score.. if you drove in to do that like MJ just did and there was defenders in the paint, they would have went up with him and fouled the shit out of him if they couldn’t make a good defensive play on the ball and get a block or something. Nothing was free. You had teams like Detroit who were going out there and making players bleed every single night, teams feared playing them even if they could win they knew they would get beaten up pretty good while doing it and scoring was not gonna be easy.. in the NBA today no one plays defense
@@tlinscents no one in the NBA plays defense anymore and it’s changed the game completely, where we used to see better defense and people driving in the lane, making a play, drawing the foul, or going for a lay up/dunk, now we see people taking 3 point shot after 3 point shot all night. It’s made the games a lot higher point games because it’s easier to score. For example: look at all the players that come to the NBA from foreign pro leagues. And players that go from the NBA to playing over seas pro leagues.. you can tell a difference in their game and their stats back it up. Even Doncic has a quote I’ve seen that pretty much says that it’s much easier to score in the NBA compared to playing in other leagues due to the defense still playing a huge role in the game and not so much in modern NBA. It’s totally changed the game and the players. Before you used to have big guys down low who would post up, use the body and make space, use some pivot action, and go up strong or throw up a little fading one handed hook shot or something, you would never see them shooting threes or even playing on the perimeter unless the shot clock was about to expire.. now a days you have these super tall athletes that have the same s height, but instead of being more one dimensional and playing post only, these big guys now a days have developed their ball handling skills to that of a point guard, can shoot the 3 all day and have accuracy. Like Doncic and Giannis and many many more in the league. The lack of defense and over all competitiveness has changed the culture and the overall game itself in how it’s played and how fundamental are taught and implemented
well he is 6-6. When I was 5-11, 180lbs in my prime, I could dunk one handed and grab the rim with two. Toss the ball at the rim and I'd dunk it home many times. If I'd have been 6-6 with the corresponding reach, 360 dunks would have happened.
Years before this game, we used this play often in high school. I had really good hops for a 6' white guard and got a lot of tie ups and jump balls (era before alternate possession rule). Whenever I was matched against a taller guy or one who assumed he could outjump a white guy, we'd call the play. My other guard would break downcourt on the toss and I'd spike it to him for an uncontested layup. We did it three times against the same team one game and they never adjusted... all-black team from the hood and they never adjusted to it. Few years later I ran into a player from that team and he told me they refused to defend the play because they didn't want to acknowledge a white guy could outjump any of them. They'd rather give up the layup. Too funny. My other guard and I learned the play as freshman playing JV at another school before transferring. He was short, chubby, and we found out his nickname playing high school ball had been Cupcakes (sweet tooth), so after transferring that was our play call... cupcakes.
Still one of the greatest ICONS ever. Not just in basketball but in pop culture too. What a legend. I was never a big NBA fan but I would always stop what I was doing to watch if Jordan was playing or if they were showing replays of him. He was poetry in motion & transcended the sport itself.

Unsolved mysteries:
MJ + Half court + 4 steps = dunk
Guess you could say it was a hop, skip, and a jump away 😉
Giannis needs 2 steps
He planted and jumped off the left foot so it was 5. But still, those strides... What a beast.
I don't know how and where you guys count 4 or 5 steps, but from the moment the cam catch up with him you can clearly count 8 steps, so there must be even one more when he start, overall makes that 9 steps until the dunk.

He covered that court in like 2 big strides. Micheal was such a bad ass he had a bad case of the flu one time and still scored 36 points and his team won.

@Check my about page link we don’t care
I think the same thing every day!
Love you bro, please think about your eternity. The Bible says the day of salvation is today so please leave your sin and turn to God.

Competitive, yet the dude just let's him have the tip... hahaha
80's and 90's were the best for the NBA, the NBA is garbage now
The music is actually Jacques Offenbach - Orpheus in the Underworld Overture.
What a freaking legend! The amount of energy and height that he can jump is absolutely unbelievable!

well he is 6-6.

He was short, chubby, and we found out his nickname playing high school ball had been Cupcakes (sweet tooth), so after transferring that was our play call... cupcakes.
