how to make plastic injection molding machine
In this video i demonstrated how to melt plastic at home and how to mold that plastic into a good shape by using locally available materials
In order to melt plastic you need a container where you will put your plastics and a source of heat, also you will need to cover your equipment during the melting process in order to prevent air from reaching your melted plastic as this may cause oxidation of the plastics and in later case you will end up with plastics of low quality
But this video was quick demonstration to show you how to recycle plastics waste by melting them and molding them into a simple round shape

Toxic fumes can be quite dangerous depending from wich kind of plastic is melted and if is painted. Wear a mask and do that in well ventilated place, also avoid mixing different kind of plasic and ofk be careful to wear thermal protection to avoid 3rd degree burns. Ofk you all are free to test your luck like the guy inthe video👍
That was a reasonable effort. You need to compress the plastic while cooling as HDPE will; warp. I subscribed to see what you will make next.
Yes it was very brittle the next time I will improve
For anyone who is trying this, PLEASE BE CAREFUL. Hot melted plastic can really burn your skin, and can cause minor skin irritation and issues. Remember to be safe 🙂
Yes all of you should be carefully
@@mushitrials9808 how long did you have to melt it
Thank you
Thanks Sir. I suggest you use flour cloth with oil on the surface of the mold before pouring in the liquid plastic for easier removal. God bless
Thanks man
Wow your video is amazing man !
Thanks
is a good idea to put oil?
Now i can be THE ULTIMATE MAN
WITH A BUTTON MACHINE
all try but i want to try making buttons using ur method plus bottle tops .
What type of plastic is that and how long did it take to melt?
Nice job sir
Will PLA from failed prints of 3D printers melt to a pourable liquidy state like that that could be poured into molds. ?
Did anything happen to the pot you melted your plastic in?
Amazing video btw♥️
It just got dirty but after cleaning it everything turn out clean
is their anything that can be added to the PLA melting process that will make the PLA melt with a more LIQUIDY pourable viscosity... ALSO MUST REMAIN AQUARIUM SAFE ?
Good video. Whick kind of plastic you use?
I used HDPE recyclable plastic but i didn't set my melting process well please subscribe i will upload another video about plastics
@@mushitrials9808 thank you for your answer, i will subscribe now of course, i also want to ask, the melted HDPE plastic becomes so liquid when you melt it? How high is the temperature it reach melted that liquid point?
It's just about 240 celcius degree is enough but make sure that you cover your melting equipment during all time of heating in order to have good quality plastic
can we welt nylon?
May be in a airtight condition other wise it will burn up
Super ❤️👍
is the smoke technically off-gassing from carbonation? I'd imaging this isnt the most consistent heat control
Never try to melt plastic in doors as the fumes may cause an illness
Thank you man I'm sorry for that
Yes
hi, can we use silicon cast with that molten plastic ? will the silicon cast melting because its too hot ?
I'm not sure but try it in small scale if it works do it
@@mushitrials9808 hmm ok, but kinda doubt it wont melt :v. thankyou for giving respond
I remember dripping melted plastic on my fingers and legs when I was a kid. That stuff hurt.
Be careful
Which powder use to mix hdpe material??? For melt...
Nothing
did i see this the right way? did it begin YELLOW & then pour out WHITE?
Yes it came out white because I didn't airtight the melting container so it burned a little bit and lost its quality
Hi, is there a water in It?
No water
I'm going to use cookie cutters as molds and see what I end up with.
Ok do it
Good idea..
Nice Job ❤
Bravo!
Can we melt HDPE and PP plastics together?
No.
It is too hot, when the plastic starts to make smoke then it is degradating!! less fire!!
Nice recipe 😂
But after moulding its strength becomes very low.
What is the reason behind this?
Yes i left it open while heating but if you could make it air tight it would be stronger
@@mushitrials9808 elaborate on the air tight part. do you mean in an air tight vessel when melting or when cooling or both?
@@rexcorvorum2209 so much heating decrease strength.... so your plastic peaces should be small as possible.... because that will melt fast and not loose its chemical structures.... during melting a deep box will be perfect which can be close ..,
yes for mold some pressure needed so no air bubble left
@@rexcorvorum2209 while heating or whenever its very hot.. ie cooling starts
Yeah but those fines holy shit don't breathe that
I don't think that's hdps I think that's probably polypropylene
Why
@@mushitrials9808 it's liquidy
Video interesting but music was very annoying
Hi, how's the cancer?
You need to put it in an oven bro at a controlled temperature sp it doesn’t have all those fumes
I believe his tutorial is an alternative for those who do not have an oven available
Yes and I didn't have a oven
@@rickm95 the alternative is death if you breathe the wrong fumes, heed the warning instead of missing the point altogether. You should NEVER heat plastic this way, and at least have a thermometer to check the temp, thi9s plastic should never be heated more that 177 def C. Also, that's why the plastic is degraded and becomes more fragile and much less durable, temps above the recommended temperature damages the plastic at a molecular lever... it's related to the very fumes mentioned in this comment. Uncontrolled temps will damage the plastic AND your health... that is the alternative.
