Pretty much all the old need for speeds had a good soundtrack. Underground 1&2, MW, Carbon, ProStreet, and even the graphically torturing mess that is Undercover had a really great soundtrack. And I get that they always put the latest songs for every need for speed games, but they clearly only picked songs that only edgy ass teenagers would listen to for 24 hours straight. I miss when edgy teens listen to rock and metal, instead of crappy and repetitive hip-hop songs like this.

From what I've heard on the Playlist and game itself, this one stands out to me, unique and smooth to hear. I love the general style of Unbound both in art and music choices too but most other songs come off as generic to me, they work well when in game, definitely a good soundtrack in general but none other really made me want to add it to my own MP3 Playlist as this one did. I think what it is, is that this one feels like it has a soul, its a whole vibe to listen to this while others feel more like generic badassery going on, this one makes you sit back a bit more and take in the views a while.
Thank you. I enjoy the wild variety of songs in the game. Most people that are upset about the soundtrack give examples of games where everything just sounds like rock. The underground rap/edm vibe of unbound is such a refreshing feel for a new 2020's NFS title.
@@prashant.98 Thy seem to also forget the rap, EDM, grime etc. in the 2000s titles. Though I think drum n' bass tracks would have helped this soundtrack more in the racing department. A lot of the tracks selected feel more like free roam/garage music than stuff fit for events.

Drum and Bass is one of my favourite genres but this game also introduced me to some wild variety of music like afro beats or european rap. They were clearly trying to go for something new and even though it's far from perfect, I wouldn't call it a failure of a soundtrack.
Honestly I don't really get the whole "doesn't fit the vibe of the game" thing. All I care about is "Does the music sound good to my brain/ears?". And going by that metric , a lot of the songs are pretty good. Like I have some of these Unbound songs saved on Spotify and like to listen to them while playing GTAO or Gran Turismo too. Just like how I listen to Levantate sometimes while playing those games. These songs(obviously with some exceptions) are just sonically pleasing to me(and many others too) and that's all that matters to me tbh. Also....this song goes hard af if you're on the last lap of a race and you're in the top 3 trying to get to 1st. Kinda gives me "Nothing But You(Cirrus Remix)" by Paul Van Dyk from NFSU2 vibes (that song also fits this game especially driving in the Seba Ski Resort areas at night).
