That feeling when you’re peaking on a pill, with your mates, haven’t gotta worry about tomorrow, warm lager in your hand, the lasers light up the whole sky and the bass rattles your guts. The brilliant thing about both of these tracks is that you can either dance like a nutter or just stand and sway in a trance. It's up to you. They're definitely two of this era's defining electronic tracks 👍🏼
Well Apricots was released during Covid when all the clubs were shut. Its what they called "home dance music" where you can still dance an have a good time. Not as upbeat as in clubs

I just listened to Bicep playing these at Audioriver Festival in Płock Poland. Middle of the night, POURING rain, everyone absolutely soaked in colorful raincoats, waving umbrellas, throwing their hands up in the air, jumping in the mud, screaming, it was madness. Lasers were refracting in the air, it felt like a miriad stars descending upon us, I was dancing with the widest smile, rain falling on my face, in my mouth, I was wet down to the pants and socks, my phone got soaked and died, I felt like a window to another universe opened in front of me. Without exaggeration it was one of the best moments of my life.

Modern day icons of electronic music. After being besotted with music in general by watching Arctic monkeys headline glasto 2007, and subsequently been drawn into electronic music by bicep and ejeca, it really hits home to see the lads have Glastonbury in their hands.
