    I’m sure it was a mountain lion or panther of some kind. Being scared and dark I’m sure there imagination got the better of them that night.

      Good one! My Momma was born in Elkhorn City. My grandma used to tell us stories about “ole slewfoot” and it would scare me to death lol.
