Cream Cheese Buttercream
Yield: enough to fill and ice and 8 inch cake
What do you need....
3 lbs. cream cheese
2 lbs unsalted butter
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tablespoon Madagascar bourbon vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
How to make it....
- Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature before mixing.
- Cream the cream cheese in a stand mixer with a paddle until smooth (medium speed for a couple minutes).
- Add butter and mix until incorporated.
- Add vanilla and sugar and blend on low speed until incorporated.
- Switch the attachment to a whip. Whip on high until light and fluffy.

Welcome back! Nice to see you posting again on the new channel! Okay so I just started getting notified you might have been doing so for some time and I didn't know I was missing them. I love your channel even though I am not supposed to eat Sugar or grains. Well no carbs... okay not NO carbs but very few carbs and cakes don't fall into that category, but I still love to see how you make them and decorate them. I use to do cakes for my kids. They would take me like 12 hours or more to finish. Now I just paint on canvas and returning to stained glass, cause cake ain't allowed anymore! LOL!

I use Swiss meringue mostly, but I do love Italian Buttercream!!
