@@Ah_Duuu_Ma well, the battery has been replaced in march got it from the dealer. my theory was starter but crank sensor was a new one. no check engine since i bought in 2018. should i just wait for check engine codes to pop in or you just replaceit it?
@@PEnZKE99 That's a good one. No check engine light is hard to say what's needed to be fix. As long as the car don't have check engine light, then it should be fine. The computer will detect it if there's any urgent problem. Don't replace anything if you don't know the exact problem yet, don't waste money. Its a Honda, reliable car.
If you use oem part it shouldn’t rattle. If you use oem and makes noise, check everything again, the cam follower for wear and tear. Double check the rattle noise again if that rattle noise is coming from the high pressure fuel pump line.
@@elfabricator1309 No this would not go into limp mode, it could but i dont think it will happen. Limp mode only happen when electrical wires are broken or sensors not mechanical. Direct injection pump is mechanical issue.
Look up your VIN on the Honda recall webpage. there is a recall for some models with for the low-pressure fuel pump. Family 2020 CRV went into limp mode when its high-pressure fuel pump failed. Code P0087 with the dashboard turning into a Christmas display.
My car is having a random misfire in all 6 cylinders. I replaced spark plugs and all the coils are working to my knowledge. I don’t understand what would be making them all misfire randomly. Someone said a high pressure fuel pump but I have a 2005 Honda accord 6cyl and I don’t see a HPFP on this car.
@@DaKANDKeY For this old model. Theres no HPFP. If you have replace all spark plugs and coils already still misfiring. Check compression test, check VALVE ADJUSTMENT if you have not service them yet (rechecking the gap on all the valves with feeler gauge). It should it be at the right valve clearance spec (spec sticker is on the hood for valve adjustment). Valve adjustment should be readjust every 100k miles. These are the 2 are very important things check for on an old car. If the valve clearance is too tight (sticking) will cause misfiring. If the valves are too loose the engine will makes ticking sound and misfiring.
Great vid. What is a common oil leak in that area? I got oil leaking on top of the transmission coming from right below the hpfp. Thanks
Thanks, I have a 2001 EX, I still found your video interesting.
i have accord 2015 sport this apply too??? sometimes the car does start little longer than usual but not a long crank. appreciate the response.
Check battery, crank sensor, weak starter.

Need to relieve fuel pressure first before replacing pump?
@@xKaiso You dont have to, not much pressure. Loosen the 17mm nut on the fuel pump line. Let the gas come out a little and should be good.

After the fuel pump replacement, there is a rattling sound from the engine at idle.
Is this the pump that's part of the 2024 recall?
Im not sure for 2024. If its a recall, it should be free to fix at the dealership, call them and ask.
No that’s the actual fuel pump in the gas tank
Does the car go into limp mode if this goes bad? I think I’m have fuel pump problem or this thing went bad
