In private company the minimum number of members is two and in public company the minimum number of members is seven.
In private company the maximum number of members is 200 and in public company the maximum number of members is infinite.
In a private company transferability of shares is not allowed and in public company transferability of shares is allowed.
In a private company there is no need to made prospectus because there is no allotment of shares to the public and in public company the prospectus is allowed to made because there is allotment of shares to the public.
In a private company the minimum numbers of director is two and in public company the minimum number of directors is 3.
