    Bio -
    Phil Daru is the Head trainer for some of the top athletes in the world and creator of Daru Strong Training Systems and founder of Daru Strong Performance Center. Daru has degrees in sports medicine and exercise science from Alabama State University where he played division 1 football. Holding certifications with Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) Functional Range Movement Specialist (FRCms) and Kabuki Movement Specialist (NSCA-KMS).
    Daru then began a career in MMA and turned professional at 21 years old where he then developed his own systems for training fighters. Daru has also competed in strongman, bodybuilding, and Bjj Gi and No Gi and currently competes in powerlifting. He has worked with well over 200 plus fighters including world champions like Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Dustin Poirier, Edson Barboza, Junior Dos Santos, Frankie Edgar, Tecia Torres, King Mo Lawal, Andrei Arlovski and many others. Coach Daru is a two time award winning Trainer of the Year for the Florida MMA Awards and Nominated for the Trainer of the Year for the World MMA Awards. He has been globally recognized for his contributions in combat sports performance and has traveled to over 10 countries teaching and mentoring.       Yea I feel like stuff like this and even gymnastics are a fun way to get kids involved into just overall being fit and having fun at same time…if they enjoy it

    It's funny how basic this looks.. and then you do it 😂 i had trouble even landing when i did plyo.

      It’s tricky, especially when you have a trainer on that ass for making it perfect. The only thing I see wrong is the females landing by not absorbing the impact of these quick movements.

      It just takes a bit of practice. Bosu ball and wobble board drills can help with your balance too. Getting good takes a while but doing these drills isn't that hard.

    I like what this guy is doing.. I suggest playing tennis would help with what his trying to achieve with this movement ...i think unpredictability is the Xfactor when playing competitive sports it's there.

    Unbelievable trainer but this stuff you find out on your own and you improvise based on adduction and abduction principles, footwork is forward, backward, side to side. Then you have your torque; trunk rotation, foot plant for power thrust movement of trunk and shoulder rotation.
    Love this guys adaptation of exercises to fit the body’s functionality! Subscribed!

    What is the advantage or effect of this workout

      Makes you faster, explosive, react fast especially if you play sports such as soccer or American football. I think it’s good for any sport. Also if you can fire up the muscles involve in all this movement, it will carryover to your agility
