This is what I needed. An average person, that's not 20 years old, or an extreme athlete...trying these for the first time. Thank you for being vulnerable with Zumba. 🤣I'm going to try FitXR tonight and Supernatural tomorrow. You inspired me. 😉
I've been keeping it up so far! About 1.5 months since recording the video. I even started eating better. I really excited for you to try as well. #AbsBy2025
Funfitland free, in the App Lab, and a really good workout. Thanks for sharing. I’m 61 and bounce between Les Mills, which is fortunately not a subscription. I can only do about 30-40 mins depending on which one i play. I use Beat saber to warm up and sometimes wind down. You’re great on Thrill of the fight! Keep it up. I’m terrible at that one. Great work!!
Vr workouts have been fantastic. I alternate between dedicated workout apps like Les Mills Body Combat (a fantastic premium alternative for FitXR with no subscription) and Thrill of the Fight, with "active games" like "Until you Fall", "Swordsman VR" , "Pistol Whip", "RagnaRock" and of course "Beat Saber". For the non-fitness apps, I find adding 1lb wrist weights does a lot to make the experience more challenging. And man, it's so much easier to commit to doing four Beat Saber tracks with weights on than even 15 min on a treadmill or bike. It's kept me active in such a great way, and I almost always look forward to it.
Good job. I hope you can keep it up. That is the hardest part. To make things more fun, try the Climb 2 and Phantom Covert Ops. I play these with Adidas weighted gloves. They were only $20. This gives more strength and stretching than cardio. To make things more fun and hard, try Pistol Whip or Superhot with weighted gloves.
Beat Saber and any medieval combat game (I like Swordsman VR and Until you Fall) with weighted gloves are fantastic, and give you a better appreciation of what swinging a weapon in combat for a while must've felt like!
I got a ocolus 2 a couple of days ago and first game i got was the same boxing game. I still can't properly move my body, but that's another thing :) I feel like one needs a stadium in order to enjoy the games without constantly thinking about walls and stuff around the house.
I enhance the training with wrist and ankle weights. Currently i have the MQ2 and its fun, but the MQ3 model will benefit my neck. So I'm excited for that! I use the
At 10:38 I share my final thoughts. I don’t go into huge amount of detail between the apps, but I do share that my personal preference is just to use thrill of the fight. It was the most intense workout, but if you want something more structured you can’t go wrong with supernatural or FitXR. I think I lean slightly toward supernatural because they use real people to show you any movements or positions. That makes it easier for me to copy.
Thrill of the fight is amazing for working out.
Is my best workout in years

Thrill of the Fight AR is the main reason I'm interested in trying out VR
This has really spurred me onto try this! Thankyou for a realistic video in a realistic space/fitness level 👍
Thrill of the fight. If I were in a REAL fight, I'd be out with the first punch. I'm with you, I'll stay in the VR world.
😂 me too man!
Great video !! keep it up!
Keep the work out, I am gonna try too

I do the fitxr with my friend 5x a week and gym 2x a week. 😊 we like the boxing and hiit on fitxr.
Thanks for your inspiration, I am on day two of supernatural and I will be moving through all the aches and pains. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Keep going! It’s a lot of fun, and such a good workout!
Good job bro

For me it's the Audio Trip game that's doing it for me so far
I’ll have to look that up!

Didn’t know you could work out with the meta quest, great video btw
Yea it can get surprisingly intense
muito bom o video
i purchased the quest 3 to get some work outs instead of just sitting down on the pc all day. thanks for the info man 👍
Same here. It’s perfect for that.
Great job, man✊🏻
very nice video

These are some great tips! Thank you!

congrats. I really want to get back into VR fitness. This really helps inspire me.

Awesome video!! 🎉
You should get a floor mat or a small rug to stand on so you don't get too close to your walls.
I like doing the Supernatural boxing with the knee lifts activated. Better workout.
I enhance the training with wrist and ankle weights. Currently i have the MQ2 and its fun, but the MQ3 model will benefit my neck. So I'm excited for that!
I use the
How do you mean benefit ur neck? Is it lighter??
i like it if it hurts bc it just shows it's working. the saying "no pain no gain" is kind of suitable here.
I totally agree with the soreness! Not so much when I accidentally punched the wall 😝
@@nerdywork it just feels good to feel your achievements through any kind of feedback.
thrill of the fight has a mixed reality mode so you cans top punching walls
Any preference between training apps?
Good video, but we also want comments on all these apps you tested.

How much floor space do you need for the Thrill of the fight?
you really need to find a bigger room
Yes I Do! In 3 or 4 months I should have a new bigger office. I cannot wait.
@@nerdywork just go outside and find a big clear space works great
You possibly won two 12 y.o. :D
It was the computer. Thrill of the Fight doesn’t have multiplayer
Fellow techy, thanks for documenting! Been using FixXR the past week along my jogging and now jump rope. Good way to get a quick workout in!
