- Skyblock has to be the most popular challenge in Minecraft’s 15 year history. In this video I set out to conquer it in my own over the top fashion. The whole video took over 200 hours to make, so I hope you all enjoy.

It's largely due to the small attention spans of people going even smaller and not wanting to watch longer videos, not just a Minecraft thing but a content problem
when i watched the video i was expecting a youtuber with at least 200k subscribers and thousands of likes, great quality content hope to see you blow up man

At 1:14 you say grass block instead of leaf
i dont mind all these minecraft videos of people accomplishing a lot in 1 episode, however i just don’t understand it.
why would you make 1 20 min video, when you could turn it into a 50-100 episode miniseries. youre already spending the time on it anyways, so by dragging it out across multiplr videos you multiply the chance of the algorithm picking you up, you add thr amount of ads you can put into the series overall (so profit goes up because instead of 4 ads in 1 video its 4 ads per every individual video) and ontop of that, you can create a dedicated audience who comes back to your channel regularly excited to see what happens next because you have a steady uploading schedule. this then keeps the flow of viewers very active on your channel and overall improves the rate of views and likes on your channel, offering more for the viewer to binge watch, aswell as showing newcomers that other people enjoy the content.
it just makes sense to use that strategy instead of this dopamine filled video jam packed with you rushing your script, spending hours and hours of irl time for only 1 video and then having all of that completely rely on all your hard work to potentially gain traction off of a singular video instead of multiple.
