I had to stop drinking coffee the first few weeks after quitting suboxone. I went to work my entire acute withdrawal, and tried drinking my usual 16oz coffee in the morning. It gave me wicked anxiety, and had to stop completely for a while. I'm able ro drink it now, but I'm still cut way back. I've never really drank energy drinks though.

You're getting dangerously close to telling people that their caffeine addiction is equivalent to their dope addiction. I'd much rather drink redbull than bang smack. Be careful. Im sure youre coming from a good place, but caffeine is nothing compared to morphine or heroine or methamphetamine or xanax or methcathinone or any other proper dopaminergic drug of abuse. Youre giving people a reason to say "oh, im doing caffeine, therefore, its not a big deal if i do whatever proper drug of abuse that was killing me." You need to be very measured in your response here. You are giving junkies a reason to do junk by equating the substances.

I made this mistake coming off of methadone. The withdrawal from energy drinks are horrible!! Always a possibility for too much of a good thing!💪✌️❤️
