I also have hip arthritis (phase 4) but I dont have hip pain. However, if I do any kind of (easy) glute exercises, my glute musles are getting very tight and uncomfortalbe. Even if I do pain relief exercices, they are stiff for the next few days. So no pain, but stiff. Do you have any tipps for what I can do to strengthen my glutes, but so that they wont get stiff.

I did your hip recovery program and although I had increased strength and less pain, my range of motion was so poor. My hip arthritis was too severe. I wish I had found you sooner. I ended up having hip replacement last week, the most indescribable torturous pain I've ever experienced. Now I will forever have anxiety about falling, infection and dislocation . Hopefully tho the healing is successful.

Hi, had my hip replaced 5 years ago. It took 6 months to heal completely, but it felt numb for at lest 18 months. Do massage with vitamin E oil on the scar to help keep inside scar tissue from building up. Keep up your after surgery exercise routine at home or at physical therapy. I worried about dislocation to especially if I had a fall. But it’s been ok so far. Good luck with your recovery. 👍🏻🙏🏻

Hip pain occurs when i sleep on my sides. Is this an actual indicator something is wrong? Ive had to sleep on my sides during pregnancy and its started from that.

    • @epmanualphysicaltherapy

Hey Hadia, this could be an indicator of something being irritated in the area. It is possible to have hip bursitis if you feel the pain on the outside of the hips. Here is a link to a playlist that goes into depth concerning hip bursitis if you would like to learn more:

Hey Deborah, pain in the groin area can also be indicative of other issues like a labrum tear. We also have content for that if you would like to look into it. Here is a link for your convenience:

It happened at first to me. Do the wiggling just five seconds. Then increase it when you can do them pain free. I solved it that way.
