I just learned about VM and PPPD (largely from your channel btw, so thanks!!), but looking back, I noticed that my dizziness and balance issues got so much worse when I got preggo with my son, my first child, when I was 32. Since then, what I thought was just motion sickness and vertigo got so much worse. My husband, now ex-husband, always thought I was being “dramatic”. I would have to make him slow down and not take turns too sharply. He always thought I was just complaining about his driving 🙄 Then fast forward 7 years later, I decide to have another, and everything got SOOOO much worse!! I was dizzy and nauseous ALL. THE. TIME. I thought it was just morning sickness, but the normal things didn’t help. No ginger, peppermint, even actual nausea meds. I couldn’t wear my contacts, it made the motion sensitivity so bad, I usually had to ride in the car with my eyes closed. By the time we would get to church, about a 30 min drive, I was so dizzy, I had to sit in the back room with the lights off and my head down because I was so sick feeling. It never stopped. It was awful. Now I’m almost 46 and just learning about all of this, and I’m still in shock. There’s been a possible answer all this time and I never knew

I want to become pregnant this year but I'm having my headaches every single day 😭. I don't know if I should look for a treatment or just deal with it since there are not a lot of medicine you can take while pregnant

May i ask if its not too personal, did you get vaccinated? If so has it impacted your condition?

Hey Tania - I did and I wrote about it here with another VM friend of mine. It definitely wasn't enjoyable short term, but long term it has been fine. I've had so many people reaching out to me with worse symptoms or new symptoms from long COVID that the vaccine seemed like the better option. thedizzycook.com/vestibular-migraine-and-the-covid-vaccine/
