New Adventurer and recently finished Stormblood. I'm so glad, I've join the FFXIV community. Never been one for Online MMO's. Yet this one managed to hook me in.
13 years for me since 1.0, I guess they're not counting 1.0 lol Yoshi-P wants to phase it out entirely. Its fine I understand those years were not the greatest for the game. But even then, when I started since 1.0 alpha I knew this game was special regardless of its flaws. I knew that 2.0 would make the game even more spectacular. Was a long journey for our warriors of light but it was worth it.
10 years for me but after seeing RUclips videos of what y'all in 1.0 been through and at the end of 1.0, truly a feat and phenomenal! Glad to see y'all 1.0 players still here with those of us 10 year players (: You are appreciated more than you know!
Thanks so much for sharing! After playing FFXIV for hundreds of hours, it was great to witness this and feel some of the magic from the festivities. I remember traveling to Tokyo around the time Kingdom Hearts 3 released and seeing the special Tokyo Skytree display and presentation with the wonderful music while looking down at all the beautiful city lights. Quite a memory. Square Enix never disappoints when it comes to celebrating their games and fans! Japan is such a wonderful place to visit! ❤
After all this time I think The Makers Ruin is still my favorite song from the game or at least tied with From the Heavens from Omega Savage. Goosebumps every time.

@@menma825 I have wonderful memories of hanabi-taikai when I lived in Tokyo--for a while I wondered if it was the alcohol that made me think that Japanese fireworks displays were the best--but I really think these are on another level, so fantastic!!
no words can express how much i care about this game and its community. 10 years went by so fast and I have amazing memories i'll forever cherish :) i encourage everyone to always take screenshots of even the small things so we can look back on them in the many years to follow!

I love all of FF14 music, but I gotta say, Flow is probably Soken's Masterpiece. His magnum opus. It's just so perfect. It actually feels like the ending of a long journey when I listen to it. Close in the Distance is up there too.

I'm not ashamed to admit that when the drones turned into the FFXIV Logo and then the Mothercrystal I teared up.
When the ultimate weapon music started playing I wanted so bad for the drones to come back and form the image of a taco 😂 I need my big fat tacos
