I was trying to pay someone to teach me SPSS thinking it was difficult to learn with videos, see how you are simplifying the whole thing. Thank you sir, you are doing well
Wow, thank you so much sir. This is very concise , clearly explained and well understood. I can't wait to see the next video. Thank you once again Sir. 🎉🎉
Wow, I like ur teaching video. It looks so ez. But it happens to with error as in screenshot picture. Can you pls give some tips to fix this problem => "(2003) All Sheet in Excel file appear to be empty."
Thank you for your compliments. For 2003 excel sheet try using this - click on file>>Open>>>Data>> select your excel file. This should work. If it still gives you an error, then I suggest saving your excel file as CSV format and using the SPSS import CSV by clicking on File>>Import data>>>CSV data and selecting your CSV file. I hope this helps SAING. Let me know how it goes
Short and easy to understand. Thanks Sir. But i have a challenge, my excel sheet file icon has no option for import data, hence finding it much difficult to complete my assignment
I am not sure I understand your question. But you don’t need any excel sheet file icon to import excel data into SPSS. You only need your excel file and your SPSS software and follow the simple instructions in this video
@@SPSS4RESEARCH Just entering data. I am testing a biomarker and some values are below the detectable range. What value should I use for the analysis for those that measured
Great question Erini. I am assuming that you don’t have the actual values for those less than 22.3 but have the actual numerical values for those 22.3 and above. In this case, you need to create 2 variables. The first variable will be a categorical variable with only 2 categories (1 = less than 22.3 and 2 = greater than or equal to 22.3). Then the second variable will be a numeric variable and will only be entered (with its actual value) when the value of the first variable is greater than or equal to 22.3. I hope this helps?
@@EiriniChrysovergi hi! Sorry maybe I wasn’t clear! I have actual values for measurements that are >22.3 eg 34.4 100, 150 etc. what I am not sure of is what value to use for those few values that were undetectable. Eg do I just use 22.3. Half of that?
Could you please help me to get a usable spss pack for studying spss as my trial version expired and cant afford .I have an exam on next week on spss .How should I extend the temporary period for another two weeks.
