    I have this machine but the British one( Janome Atelier 7 ) I’ve had my machine for about 3 years now. I love this machine. I’m not a quilter I make lots of clothes for me lol. It’s the best sewing machine I’ve ever owned.
    Your demonstration of this machine is the best I’ve seen. Your so very helpful with showing how to use it and all the uses of the feet. Thank you for your demo, it’s brilliant 🤩😁

    I just bought one today…omg..it is so fabulous!!!!!!! I researched for a month…it was between the Juki DX or this one….I made the right decision….
    I have two Judi industrials, but needed a stretch stick and detailing machine. Could not be happier with it.

    I am new to this machine, after having sewn exclusively on mechanical machines. Your tutorial is so helpful. Thank you for taking the time to make it.

    Thank you for this great video. I learned a lot about this amazing machine. I live in another country and will buy this machine in the coming days. I really love this machine, love Janome. Had a Horizon QCP 7700 for years and loving it. Thank you again going over all the different stitches, categories and different feet’s. Again, I learned a lot from your video. Thanks!

    Ok, so came across this video today and so happy to have found it. However, my screen did what yours did between utility and quilt (the section shortly after you explain the start/stop, lock, etc before moving onto the menu screen) and now I can’t figure out how to fix it. 😂. When I first started watching your video it was fine - I could follow along and press the buttons. Then I filled a million bobbins (worst job) and did some practice stitching with you and now this. I also changed the plate to the straight stitch plate. You said in your video that you didn’t know why it was doing that, but it was edited and working next second so must have figured it out. What’d you do? I’ve tried turning it on/off. Thanks for your help and the good tutorial:

      Okay, So turn off your machine and turn it back on and then touch the left arrow at the bottom and it will cycle through the pages of the different stitch categories. You can also select the icon at the top of the touch screen to access that specific category of stitches. Refer to the machine manual as to which icons represent which stitch category. I hope this helps please call the store if you require further assistance!

    I just ordered this machine and I'm a bit concerned about the bobbin winding. When you have the presser plate off just before 15 minutes, you can see that the bobbin is not well spooled, but has loose bits sticking out. Another reviewer pointed this out too, and called it a design flaw. The bobbin winding should be easy to get tight and consistent, but this looked bad.

    • @alwaysinstitches5388
      @alwaysinstitches5388  2 года назад +1

      You will have no problem winding a perfect bobbin with your machine. Several people wind bobbins all different ways. Just refer to your manual and fully wind the bobbin and it will work out for you. The Skyline series is a very popular model for Janome and we haven't had customers having issues with their bobbin winding mechanism! When you get your machine, wind several bobbins and if you still have concerns, contact the person from which you purchased it from!

    We bought a high shabk walking foot to use with the S7 but the needle hits the foot. Is there a way of changing the needle position forwards for this or is it likely the foot is incorrect?

    • @alwaysinstitches5388
      @alwaysinstitches5388  Год назад

      Please refer to your manual for the correct shank foot for your machine. Janome brand foots and Janome brand needles are what are recommended.

    I’ve just got one of these (British version Atelier 7) and its the first time I’ve had a machine with an automatic thread cutter. Ive found that the first few stitches after previously using the thread cutter ,tangle the thread up on the underside. It doesn’t cause a thread jam but looks a bit untidy. Is this normal with this function?

    • @alwaysinstitches5388
      @alwaysinstitches5388  Год назад +1

      Yes it is normal. You get a bit of untidyness from the first few stitches.
