I’ve had my MC 9400 for five years now and still haven’t explored the settings. Thanks so much for giving me an introduction into its mysteries. PS how do I go about getting the correct tension on the underside of a zigzag stitch. It seems to have gone all to pot! Ie too tight.
For zig zag tension, it is worth noting that it will almost always pull to the bottom at max width, to help compensate you can tighten your upper tension, but if your fabric isn't strong enough it will bunch up your fabric and cause it to tunnel. short answer: wide zig zags normally pull to the bottom, if it is imperative to have it even, use a heavyweight tearaway stabilizer on the fabric and tighten your upper tension until the thread is no longer pulling to the bottom
I’ve had my machine or almost 4 years and you taught me new things!!!! Thank You......Also, you mentioned the USB port.....Where do I get stitches to save on the USB port and do you have a video for that?
Hello! The USB port would only be on the skyline s9, which also has embroidery. The s7 only has the stitches it comes with and you can't add any more unfortunately.
flip the same lever you flipped to lower them back to its original position (by pushing it away from you) and rotate your handwheel towards you one full rotation. this will reengage the mechanism
