I graduated from high school in 1986, so all these heated curling brushes bring back memories. First we all had curling irons, then we moved on to curling brushes. The curling brushes were much better, IMO. I'm sure technology has greatly improved, but the old school ones sure were not zero heat damage, haha.

Once I started doing roller sets instead of blowing my hair out with a round brush it went from being arm pit length to tailbone in 1.5 years. The blow drying while pulling your hair taught gradually breaks off your length especially if your hair strands are fine. I have 3b curls ZERO heat damage and wear my hair straight 70% of the time.

Fan of the side part for an alternative look. Would still have to flatten the roots, but the real test is the humidity test.

Yes I have 3b curls and find that 350-380 Fahrenheit gives me a sleek look. If your individual strands of hair are fine you do not need to use high heat. I wear my hair straight 70% of the time and have zero heat damage, I never go over 390 with any heat tool. If you want your hair to last without reapplying heat doing a roller set before flat iron has always done that for me. When I blow dry using a round brush my hair is frizzy by day 3. Rollers are a MILLION times better than traditional blow drying. Usually only need to flat iron roots.

Can you please explain this to me? I have 3b hair too. So you use a roller set to get your hair straight/blowout look without pulling and then only use the flat iron for roots?

Estaba viendo este cepillo en Sephora . Dije déjame ver si mi compatriota Julissa que tiene la misma textura de mi pelo ha hecho un review. Caído del cielo .

Hey, Thank you soooo much for this.... hard to find instructions for this tool. I bought it from an 'advert' from Tik Tok. The video advertisement was a little misleading as it indicated you could do a '90s blowout' from the tool. However, what you said in this video makes more sense. It is for 'renewing' a current blowout. As a curly hair girl with extremely fine hair (and a bit of it).... also... I am aging... so trying to keep my hair healthy and not snapping... is difficult. It was a relief to hear your thought. This video has helped me (a newb at hair styling) very very very much. Thank you... 💖💖💖💖💖💖

Yay!! So glad this video was helpful! 🥰 I definitely prefer using heated round brushes after a blowout for that bouncy 90s blowout look effect! Straight from my natural curly hair is a little more hard to achieve 😩💕

I'm an Australian that has been watching your channel for years. Thanks for saying Bondi properly! I want to get this brush but it is sold out here at the moment. I'm a bit scared though as I have fine wavy hair that likes to get stuck in brushes. How does the slip of this compare to say the Dyson Airwrap brush attachment?

Hy Julissa. Your hair looks amazing on your side But again You always look beautiful no matter what you do to your hair. I like the tool your hair looks very pretty ,But I have seen better results with other brushes you have used. But I did like your hair how it turned out in the end. Great vídeo as always, keep up the good job, God bless you always. 💕

I have 3A curls… curly but not super kinky but not wavy at all
I just use the bindi boost for the first time and I love it so much it makes me hair so smooth and it’s so effortless it was really fast and my head doesn’t feel hot
It was alot easier, healthier, and faster than my Dyson airwrap / Shark flex styler

Since your hair is obviously heat trained, that means you can style your hair more quickly and with lower heat settings, so definitely listen to everyone who has been saying to use the lowest heat setting that will give you the results you're looking for. I'm in the middle of heat training my hair, and I just did my 3rd silk press in a month and it took me way less time, and I was able to get it done with my 2 year old running around like a butthead. And after I did the blowout, my hair was smoother so I was able to use fewer passes with the flat iron.

I don’t know about causing zero heat damage. Maybe it cuts it down greatly but never zero. It’s always wise to still use heat protectant tho lol

All her vids are like that. She touches up off video with other tools to make the product look better, I think. And none of this low heat stuff lasts long...especially outside in the humidity and such.
