Awesome explanation of a scooter clutch assembly. Viewers complain about tools used being costly. Impact wrench is a must in most of scooters mechanics so get yourselves one
Thanks I figured as much but I brought every socket home except my 1 1/2 inch is at work I got half my clutch done. This was a perfect easy how to on these 👍
Ruck shop! I have a stock clutch, the clip is easy to get off. My problem is that after the clip is removed the clutch will not release! Is there a trick to get it to separate? The splines look like they're lined......... do you twist, hammer or throw the damn thing away?!?!?!? Ok i dont want to toss it.
we dont have any OEM clutches here and those are a pain in the ass I almost stabbed myself in the gut trying to remove the clip. I know we sell the blue contra spring but that should be the last mod you ever do. Sorry no real easy way to do this

Now the clutch bolt is 1-5/8" the older ones where 1-1/2" ...😮
1-1/2 inch socket is too small, did not fit on my nut, weird.
I have found that if 1.5 doesnt fit go with 39mm but some are 1.5" some are 38mm and some are 39mm
👏👏👏👏
2 ugga duggas. Got it
Everything is easier with $300 with off tools
We wish we had $300 tools
the kobalt half inch driver when I first came out was 264 dollars. I have one it's a 300 dollar tool.
