I love the combination of screaming and singing back and forth. I feel like every time I hear it with more and more back and forth it catches my ear and tickles my music buttons.
Thank you both for this with us & Congratulations Lauren on your first reaction video as well 👍🏻 Let me say I was extremely impressed because he did a really great job on that song for one take 🤘🏻
"I'm resting right now but you're not gonna know about it" - me sleeping through my classes in high school. In all seriousness - this is exactly how extreme drumming works. Blast beat to fast double bass - even blast bleat to a tom fill is me giving my fingers a rest and using my wrists.
Thank you for this cool presentation of Spencer! I've seen him live enough times and also enough live studio videos to question whether this performance was pitch corrected or not, but either way he definitely does his thing. I would love to see you take on proper belters like Russell Allen. While I don't disrespect people like Spencer (who is obviously a disciple of Devin), I think it takes a lot more skill and talent to do what Russell Allen does.
The whole thing is, other than the few low growls. Most of the song is a slight pitched scream, which is fry + true folds. Spencer adds the pitch more subtly than bands like bmth and linkin park.

My dude; I implore you, listen to the song Without a Whisper from Invent Animate 🤘🏻
Spencer is a truly inspiring singer. His journey as a vocalist is amazing to see. 🔥

Seeing those clips of him pacing around his kitchen practicing and I can only imagine what it'd be like to be Spencer Sotelo's neighbor.
Absolutely delightful, thanks for the vid guys
This was extremely cool, thanks so much for doing it!
Thank you for your insight Lauren! Amazing track to look at!
He just makes shit look easy.
You guys are just awesome

Pretty sure there's a fair amount of false chords there too. Fry in and of itself would sound thiner on the low end
Ahhh I missed first. So close. Secondddddddddd
😂🤣🤣
Close 😂
@Valineris_The_Phoenix when I was watching there weren't any comments besides yours. Lol
@@laciemarie3934 Sometimes I comment "First" and there are sixteen ppl also commenting the same at the same time so 🤣
@@Valineris_The_Phoenix But I fixed it. Lmao.
