It was my first camera. Fantastic learning tool. It really requires good conditions to squeeze good shots out of it.
Wow dude holy shit, changing the camera to Raw pretty much changed everything I didn’t even know it didn’t automatically do that wow thank you so much
Thanks for the pointers. Just got mine and need all the help I can get!
Going back to this camera honestly, it was my first camera ever and took amazing pictures even with the kit lenses
Gong back to this camera honestly, it was my first camera ever and took amazing pictures even with the kit lenses
turning off the lens stabilization for long exposure it's obvious but I never thought about it :p
thanks for the tips, very useful!
Thank you!! I just got this camera for Christmas and I’m so excited really open it up and getting to work with this!!
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
thx for the great tips
Pretty cool video. watched it all the way through. The tips you shared are the ones I learned along the way except for the custom white setting, and turning the stabilizer off when shooting long range shots with a slow shutter. Appreciate your video. Oh yeah....the rebel is my first camera as well.
So awesome! glad I could help. Should I do more videos on the Rebel?
@@Bobsgaragetech I would appreciate it. I'm trying to master it before I purchase more lenses, and another camera
Seriously thanks for this, been shooting with my camera for a year or so and always thought the settings were off
Me tooo
@@jameleevega0117any tips for shooting pictures for landscape and animals? Or In manual mode
this is so much better than the other tips videos, the other ones just repeat the instruction manual in very low detail. Thank you so much! One question though: why is stabilizer off a better mode for long exposure?
I believe it just delivers better results. It should still work with it on.
Another useful tip:
The buttons on the corner right of the front of the camera allow you to zoom into the shot, helping you determine whether are noticeable shakes or not.
If you are just taking a general picture (no special effects), don't waste time on manual mode.
Just use auto, quickly capture it, and make sure it doesn't mess up horribly (such as over or underexposure).
These small nuances can be easily corrected by editing softwares, but it saves you time when you are actually at the scene.
I’m realizing that’s the only setting you need. Everything else is experimental.
Thank you!!! Very Helpful tips :)
You're so welcome!
Great tips! I just got one after my last Cannon finally died after 15 years 😅
Awesome glad I could help. Sometimes the most common features are pretty hidden. Thanks for watching!
3:27 very helpful bro I would’ve never thought or knew
Awesome!
Silly question -- once you change these settings in TV mode -- do you then switch to Sports mode to do the actual shooting?
i just go this camera and is the lenses that come with it only for photos?
When putting it into raw mode, I press the down button to get to the raw mode button and it will not work.
Scroll over using the right button.
How to turn off auto focus so it doesn't show up when I'm live streaming?
Is all of this, just in manual mode or in the other modes as well?
I believe they work in other modes but not exactly the same. These are all presented in manual mode only..
Could you please tell me where the level gauge is on this camera? I had to buy an external one
Don’t think this model has a level. At least I have not found the setting to turn it on. Thanks 🙏
Cool
What site do you use to edit?
I use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to edit photos.
How do you take continuous shots with the T7?
Nevermind, I figured it out. There's a button on the back of the camera to the left of SET. It has 3 rectangles, and a clock on it. Press that button and it'll take you to the Drive/self-timer mode. Select the continuous shooting mode on there and you'll be able to just hold the shutter button and it will do continuous shots, back to back. Neato!
I’m looking for a budget camera for real estate. Does this camera offer AEB so I can merge the photos in Lightroom for a clear HDR photo?? Cause I found this exact camera for $350 used and I can’t find much videos of it being in use 😭 sorry it it’s a dumb question
Is there a way to turn the loud shutter off?
DSLR Cameras are loud. They have a mechanical mechanism that flips and that’s the loud noise you are hearing. Hope that helps..
So there’s no way to silence it? 😭
@kathydenton6395 not that I know of..
I myself just picked up one on eBay. I have issues when I take my SD card to pc, it shows my images in a pink color.
Is there any way to make it where after you take the picture, the screen instantly comes back on?
Yes mess around in settings idk exactly where but it’s easy to find
I have the same camera I made my money back from it for sure
What is the ROKNE ??? what is that??? Why do we need to see that?
...anyways.. lol
….anyways….alright..😂
𝖕𝖗𝖔𝖒𝖔𝖘𝖒 😏
You can tell someone didn’t check out the manual
