The Abigail reveal was absolutely heartbreaking. “Time and circumstance have returned us to the moment that the tea cup shatters. I forgive you Will. Will you be able to forgive me?”
I love hannibal to bits, but not nearly as good as GoT. However, GoT is a fantasy TV show and it all depends in taste. If fantasy is not a genre you particularly love a lot of the appeal gets lost, so its more a taste thing than a quality thing. Both are great in terms of TV
I watched first 2 episodes of GOT and it bored me and Hannibal i was into it in just first episode. And the finale ending is wow. And i don't think GOT can end that way for its finale whatever i am not going to watch GOT.
Those are in my top 5. Such amazing shows (plus Fargo). Boardwalk wasn't as good in the finale season though...but the 3 first season are equal with The Sopranos for me.
You ought to try the Americans if you haven't already. The first season was decent, but it became a solid staple in season 2. Game of Thrones has too much nudity and extensive gore (I'm talking about the Theon incident), it's so good, it doesn't need that to distract us viewers.
This TV show is an incredible masterpiece. I litteraly watched both seasons in 3 days, I had never done something like that before, it was like I could not stop until' the end. And god, that end ! I was used to feel heartbroken in this serie (I screamed of despair with Katz's death) but the death of Abigail combined with Will lying on the floor was too much, it was the first time I cried in this serie. I can't wait for the next season. We'll be on a manhunt now, it changes things
This show is SO Damn good! Abigail, dead. Alana, not gonna make it. Jack, mortally wounded... he has to pull through. Will, partially disembowled, walk it off kid we need you out there. There isn't much that shocks me anymore. Bit, the ep before the finale, where Mason Verger does his thing literally had me squirming in my seat. How NBC is getting away with this gore I'll never know.
I personally think jack is dead, and Alana will be paralysed or something. She wasn't really used in season 1&2, and Caroline Dhavernas (the actress who plays her) is a really good actor, so hopefully she'll play a bigger part in season 3.
hannibal and scully (bedelia) would be a great show, she is so mysterious, who knows, she could be more evil and manipulative than hannibal, but she just hides it better.
Fuller has confirmed that Chilton will return because he is needed comic relief (and it may be a running gag that he "almost" gets killed every season). Fuller has also stated that Will will return (alive but scarred). As to everyone else. . .
This show had the best visuals of any TV show I've ever seen. The vast majority of movies aren't even this good. I just finished it, only a few years too late. If I didn't know before hand I absolutely never would have guessed it was on network tv. Honestly one of the best shows I've ever seen.
There's only two things you need to form your own educated guesses as to where next season might go: - Read the books. And... - Keep your ear to the ground for news regarding the acquisition of the rights for the silence of the lambs book.
The creator of the show has already said he's not afraid to go off-road from the books. Apparently Season 3 is going to be a mash-up of Hannibal (with Hannibal on the run) Hannibal Rising (with tons of flash-backs to a completely different origin story to the books) and whatever new shit they want to throw in there.
Okay, bare with me everyone... What if, hypothetically, Hannibal would exist in the same universe as Batman? (Again, bare with me) I could totally see some kind of Detective Comics or even an Elseworlds storyline involving a Hannibal Lecter/Batman mash-up. I mean, Batman fights serial killers and psychopaths all the time; I don't see how Hannibal wouldn't fit: he's such a different type of serial killer compared to your conventional Batman villains, it would create a whole new dynamic for the two characters. This'll probably never happen, unfortunately. But hey, wishful thinking.
Oh my fuckin god that is the best god damn thing i have ever heard in my entire life. 😮 what about if hannibal teamed up with the joker. That would be the best thing ever!!!!!!
I think Gillian Anderson's character may become a partner in crime with Hannibal. Why? Her patient that attacked her which she killed, died by swallowing his own detached tongue. I theorise that Gillian Anderson is a psychopath who I think felt that she had to protect herself by giving evidence against Hannibal. So maybe she actually wanted to kill alongside Hannibal, or Hannibal tried to get into her head to persuade her to pursue the ways of her underlying psychotic fantasies/intents. Just a theory... anything is possible for next season.
jsut started past weekend to catch up with Hannibal and it certainly is one of the best IF not the best show of 2013 ! just finished season 1 and going on to the next but ughhh....season 3 is sooo far away none the less I recommend this for everyone who"s 15 plus. Spectecular show all round !!!!!!!!! No downfalls
Hannibal is by far the Best show that is on TV right now the Story is Really Amazing And cast just speaks for it self i loved How the ended Season 2 on cliff hanger cant wait for season 3 to start !!
My guess is that Will survives. I mean we are talking about Hannibal here, and I believe that if Will dies (next seasons?), he will go out with a blast
the music in the last sequence was amazing, i usually don't appreciate a lot of the classical music in hannibal but the guitar post-rockish sounding thing at the end as will and jack lay there was brilliant. does the track have a name or anything?
I love how the first episode started with the last episode. It was so aw3some. Also Laurence fishburne has a new show coming out so I don't think he survived. and Will got gutted, he should be dead by that knife. Abagail had a chancento end it all for everyone too.
Will catches Hannibal. Read Red dragon the first Hannibal book. Will being gutted by Hannibal is a big part of the book. This show has been confirmed to follow the books. It's all been set up to at least the third book
Randy Savage Dude, this show is directly confirmed to NOT follow the books. The show-runner has already said that he's completely rewriting Hannibal's origin in Season 3.
Even though Verger is a villain,I would like to see him get revenge on Hannibal or Dr.Chilton getting revenge for being framed. Maybe a Chilton - Verger team up competing with Will - Jack on who is going to get revenge on Hannibal first?
For every force there is an opposing one. Alana Bloom has always been an opposing force the intents of Jack or Hannibal. Jack and Will live, and both will be hell bent on catching Hannibal. Alana Bloom will survive because she needs to oppose the madness directed at catching Hannibal, and will try to help Will thin of more rational ways to act upon Abigail's death. There will be new characters that form a new FBI team to catch Hannibal. Crawford will be suspended from duty and will have a replacement, and there will be a new character to take the place of Beverly Katz. I think it is likely that the Prurnell woman will take Jacks place as the head of the unit, or maybe someone else. Will could try go solo to catch Hannibal, following advice from Crawford, or the new FBI team will want Will's help on occasion. All theory of course, and I think it was Brian Fuller who said we shouldn't rule out Abigail just yet... anything is possible can't wait for Season 3 to start!
My Prediction: Will and Jack survive. Hannibal did get into his head though. Jack says that Hannibal killed Alana and Abigail, but Will claims that Jack is the one who killed them all and he stabbed him is the neck as self defense. Hannibal somehow leaves enough evidence that convinces them that Jack is the killer. Jack is arrested (allowing Lawrence Fishburne to go to his new show with the possibility of him coming back) and Will goes on a search for Hannibal that leads him to wherever they were going on the plane to try and get Hannibal to forgive him. Hannibal denies his forgiveness, snapping Will back into it, hunting him down for the rest of the season.
Alana Bloom is dead. Will and Jack survive. All the woman these characters care about are dead. Abigail and Alana are dead. Jack's wife will be dead soon and Beverly is dead. This two will now be broken men hell bent on revenge. Just my opinion.
I don't know how many people have already stated this, but if this show is supposed to be a prequel series to the book/movie "Red Dragon" (or its older counterpart "Manhunter"), "Silence of the Lambs," and the movie "Hannibal," then Will Graham and Jack Crawford definitely survive this last episode. Allana Bloom and Abigail Hobbs are the only people whose survival could be questioned really.
I think Hannibals planned the way he attempted to hurt everyone. Will is going to be okay he has to be, Jack again I think will be fine because Hannibal knows surgery he placed the glass behind the major arteries if he wanted Jack to die then he would have killed him. Alana I think is dead because while Hannibal was in control of Abigale he wasn't direct and Alana mentioned she felt blackness sneaking up on her pointing to death for me. Abigale I think could survive because Hannibal experiements so I think he would want to see what the death of Alana does to Will with him knowing he already took her from him. He reopened the cut on Abigales neck which she survived the first time, if he wanted her dead then surely he would have done more, fair enough Will can't do much to help but still possible. I believe Hannibal knew what he was doing from the start and played them all for fools. Jack and Will dragged Alana into it and Hannibal played her too so I think he wants Jack and Will to understand that for trying to insult his intelligence there will be consequences and they both have to live with the death of Alana being partly their fault.
Question?? At 0:48:13 in the episode what was the song called I'm looking for it an I can't find it can some one help me tell me what the song is called????? I totally need it!!!!
People are saying that Chilton is still alive since you didn't see the corpse, but he was shot directly in the face. Not only that but he was shot by someone who didn't know of Hannibal's plans.
Characters that should live: Will Graham. Because he's the protaganist in Red Dragon Jack Crawford. Because He's In Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs(Pretty Sure)
Forgot to touch on Freddie Lounds still being alive and that Will was the last person on screen to talk to her. Considering that a majority of the episodes have Japanese titles, it can be assumed that Hannibal and Bedelia are traveling to Japan. Although staying incognito is key after the carnage he left inside his house and on his doorstep. Regardless it can be assured sooner or later; "A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti." Hopefully Agent Clarice Starling will be involved in the future!
Due to her blood loss I don't believe Abigail will survive. I hope neither will Jack, I never actually got interested in his character. I'm pretty sure Alana might survive cause she received the mildest damage, I guess. Will might survive in case he would get immediately operated. I'd miss Will's character and especially Hugh Dancy's acting so much, I wouldn't stand his death. However, I'm still wondering what the whole thing has to do with Bedelia and I've been quite impressed by Hannibal's leaving, legendary and epic. I loved his conversation with Will after stabbing him and I kind of felt with Hannibal. And, to be honest, it was very naive of Will to think he could trick Hannibal. Ferocious yet beautiful (which is a strange combination) season finale. I'm looking forward to Season 3.
Why are they so sure Abigail is dead? I think it would be good if they let Will and Abigail live, Hannibal has effected their lives the most so between them two there is a much more personnel story with Hannibal
I'm not sure this Hannibal works for me, in the books he only ever killed to his own necessity when needed, to evade capture or make his escape or rid himself of the rude/ tedious to improve his surroundings...this Hannibal seems to be killing for the sake of it, like if he doesn't he'll run out of menu options for his next dinner guests.....
I don't believe anyone died apart from Abigail. They're all alive in the books. They could potentially killed Alana because you know who cares lol but killing Jack and Will is just stupid. Stupid to do it this early anyway.
I'll be fucking disappointed as hell if Will dies . They build up his character far far better than the novels only to have him killed would be retarded as hell .
He got shot through the cheek. Technically he could survive depending on the angle of trajectory. If indeed he gets shot through the cheek into the brain: Possibly dead. But if he gets shot through the cheek through and through he will definitely live. Which we all HOPE happened! :D
I think everyone will live apart from Abigail. Abigail is dead. I just think it would be a cool concept of Alanna and Will chasing down Hannibal and Bedelia. We'd have a bitch fight between Bedelia and Alanna while Will and Hannibal fight also. Jack will help from his office with the help of the fbi.
I also think the first episode of season 3 will lift off exactly where season 2 ended with all 4 characters lives in danger but will keep cutting to hannibal and Bedelia leaving the episode with all four characters in ambulances and hannibal and Bedelia will be settled in France or wherever there off to! :D
Aren't you tired of Alaana? That woman is stupid tbh, she's been wrong about everything and just a pain in the arse, she would just slow down Will. I mean, first she was wrong about Abigail, about her NOT helping her dad and killing that guy, then she was wrong about Will, she thought he was the chesapeake murder and later she thought that Will killed freddie lounds and then wrong again about Hannibal, damn bitch. Both seasons, every episode she's wrong about something, as she said, fucking blind.
Simon Mässing I think Alanna is the most human character in the series. I know some people are tired of her but I think her character is very generic of any human would. I'm tired personally of Jack he's so blind and constantly I ask myself how did this man become the head of the fbi. I think now that Alanna knows of hannibal she will become a more solid character if she survives that is! :D
Henry Hall But what good does she do ? i mean, she is really really stupid. And i understand what you mean with Jack, but he was right about Abigail, and who was just stopping him all the time? Alaana, she wouldent let him do anything to abigail because she thought she diden't do anything. Jack was also Right with Will, his gut told him that Will was innocent, but fucking Alaana man, Will is the murderer!!! Jack was only slow with hannibal.
Simon Mässing I don't think she's that stupid, I think she was being quite maternal and caring for Abigail. I mean shed just had her throat cut by her own father and her mother was also slaughtered. How shocked alanna was when she saw Abigail alive thinks proves this. I think Alanna did have some sort of maternal hold over Abigail just like Will. This is why if Abigail dies it will give Alanna and Will motivation to track down Hannibal. Bringing together a cool concept for Bryan Fuller to work with. Also Jack, I find is a really stupid character like how he wandered in to hannibals party and expecting hannibal who could be a killer he's been tracking for years and expect for him to not suspect a thing...?
The Abigail reveal was absolutely heartbreaking. “Time and circumstance have returned us to the moment that the tea cup shatters. I forgive you Will. Will you be able to forgive me?”
Hope more people watch this show. Hannibal is a masterpiece.
The last episode seemed like it was written by George.R.R.Martin
yeah and the song in the final scene is also called The Red Diner due to the soundtrack sounds familiar lol ?
That season finale is the best one be ever seen along with some of Lost's season finales.
am i the only one who thinks this show is better than game of thrones ??
Nope. I feel that Hannibal is much better than Game of Thrones (Granted, I've only watched tidbits of GOT)...
I've seen the first season of game of thrones, and I agree with you :) Hannibal is much better imo.
I love hannibal to bits, but not nearly as good as GoT. However, GoT is a fantasy TV show and it all depends in taste. If fantasy is not a genre you particularly love a lot of the appeal gets lost, so its more a taste thing than a quality thing. Both are great in terms of TV

How bout now?😂
"Hetero life partner"
I can't stop laughing
Same 😂😂😂
I brawl in my mind whether Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire or Hannibal is my favorite show, but Hannibal's really starting to usurp the others.
Those are in my top 5. Such amazing shows (plus Fargo). Boardwalk wasn't as good in the finale season though...but the 3 first season are equal with The Sopranos for me.

Richard Harrow So upsetting this is its last season!
Finale brought the Hannibal character to a new level. Superb.
“This show is the masterpiece of masterpieces.”
This TV show is an incredible masterpiece. I litteraly watched both seasons in 3 days, I had never done something like that before, it was like I could not stop until' the end. And god, that end ! wow only 43 view. this show is amazing and it should get more attention
hannibal and scully (bedelia) would be a great show, she is so mysterious, who knows, she could be more evil and manipulative than hannibal, but she just hides it better.
I was sooo fucking bummed out by Abigail's death :(
She should get some neck insurance
this was one of the best hour of television i've seen
My favorite show on tv. I am seriously confused as to why nobody is watching this especially after countless high reviews.
Fuller has confirmed that Chilton will return because he is needed comic relief (and it may be a running gag that he "almost" gets killed every season). Fuller has also stated that Will will return (alive but scarred). As to everyone else. . .

Best show on TV right now. Brilliant in every aspect.

Best show on TV right now, I wish more people would watch it since the rating are not that great. At least we get another season for now.
One of the best shows ever, i even bought the book.

This show is an underrated masterpiece. The final 10 minutes were some of the best moments of television.

WTF DAWG.......NOT EVERYONE READ THE BOOKS
Aun E
You should they are very good. At least the first two
Randy Savage
Dude, this show is directly confirmed to NOT follow the books. The show-runner has already said that he's completely rewriting Hannibal's origin in Season 3.
Dan Brennan
There changing the origin but keeping to he stories from the books.
Randy Savage
I heard contradictory words directly from the show-runner.
Even though Verger is a villain,I would like to see him get revenge on Hannibal or Dr.Chilton getting revenge for being framed.
Maybe a Chilton - Verger team up competing with Will - Jack on who is going to get revenge on Hannibal first?
Um, did you forget Chilton is dead?
The9639450 we dont know that. Its hannibal, unless i see a dead body im not saying anything.
The9639450 Fuller has confirmed that Chilton did not die and will return in season 3.
The9639450 Chilton did not die, he was shot in his cheek, and out the neck. He is comfirmed to return.

i'm so glad they're continuing the series. at the end i thought the series just ended
I don't know how many people have already stated this, but if this show is supposed to be a prequel series to the book/movie "Red Dragon" (or its older counterpart "Manhunter"), "Silence of the Lambs," and the movie "Hannibal," then Will Graham and Jack Crawford definitely survive this last episode. this is one of my favorite shows of all time. i haven't seen the second season yet but i cant wait till it goes on amazon prime so i can watch it.
Question??
At 0:48:13 in the episode what was the song called I'm looking for it an I can't find it can some one help me tell me what the song is called????? I totally need it!!!!

Although staying incognito is key after the carnage he left inside his house and on his doorstep. Regardless it can be assured sooner or later; "A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti."
Hopefully Agent Clarice Starling will be involved in the future!
Favourite programme on TV at the moment.
I just got into this show on the 2nd season and found a gem of a show. This show is amazing. How is this on Network television?
Due to her blood loss I don't believe Abigail will survive. I hope neither will Jack, I never actually got interested in his character. I'm pretty sure Alana might survive cause she received the mildest damage, I guess. Will might survive in case he would get immediately operated. I'd miss Will's character and especially Hugh Dancy's acting so much, I wouldn't stand his death. In my opinion, Will Graham evolved so interesting, I think his character contains even more potential.
Its just more than amazing😭❤️
Lol Winkie's shirt, kinda relavent to the themes of this show haha. I kinda wish Lynch rebooted or started a new season of twin peaks
Those klipsch RB bookshelfs are tasty
Why are they so sure Abigail is dead? I think it would be good if they let Will and Abigail live, Hannibal has effected their lives the most so between them two there is a much more personnel story with Hannibal
Will is the only one that survived
The last scene where Abigail appears is a redundant plot twist idea. You cant have two fake deaths in the same series.
I don't know. At first, I liked the show and then Season 2 just kinda messed it up.
A bit late aren't you IGN
Finale was amazing as hell those bastards didn't kill Will,Jack or Alana just they were dying so wonder who stays alive in the next season.
I just finished S2 and my bet is that Illana is dead, but the other 3 survived
it felt like he was cutting up animals the make blood look so good
Will had to survive because he is in red dragon
Will needs to live that is for sure
I don't believe anyone died apart from Abigail. They're all alive in the books. They could potentially killed Alana because you know who cares lol but killing Jack and Will is just stupid. Stupid to do it this early anyway.
I'll be fucking disappointed as hell if Will dies . They build up his character far far better than the novels only to have him killed would be retarded as hell .
I hope Abigail survives. She went through so much. She deserves to live.
no she will dead
She's had her throat sliced and bleeds out on the floor for about at least 5 minutes.
someone needs to explain the ending
Season 3? Isn't everybody dead?
Will and Chilton are confirmed by Fuller to be alive.
Chilton was shot in the head, how could he still be alive?
He got shot through the cheek. Technically he could survive depending on the angle of trajectory. If indeed he gets shot through the cheek into the brain: Possibly dead. But if he gets shot through the cheek through and through he will definitely live. Which we all HOPE happened! :D
Fuller has confirmed that Chilton will return.
He was shot in through the cheek and out through the neck, his brain shouldn't have been hit.
It's a Fight Club shot
Jack Crawford will be alive.. even until after Hannibal is in prison.. Silence of the Lambs.. check it our there..
Here in 2020
Loved it!
Better finale than game of thrones.
I love hannibal but Person of Interest is the best show on network television.
I love the idea of watching this show, i cannot however stand the blood
Will and Hannibal survive. Everyone else dead.
AltShiftSpam source?
Andrew Wang Season 3 trailer mostly.
AltShiftSpam I mean obviously they're keeping it hush hush in the trailer, it wouldn't be much of a reveal when the show airs otherwise.
