Holy shit bags man this is the first synth that I’ve heard that actually SOUNDS analog I had a Roland Juno years ago in the 80s and this has that same kind of sound to it. I have Omnisphere and it’s cool but this beats the piss out of it. Great demo.

I never change the presets. I find what sounds good enough to demo it. At sound engineering and design school they "force" us to do audio manipulation and change the presets in all kinds of ways, which i find boring. There are millions of presets, just pick one and play what you want to play with it.... :) Am i gonna invent a new sound ? I have million s of them already :)
I got Omnisphere about a month ago, during a Black Friday sale. I'm so impressed now with these sounds from U-He, and see they're on sale with Native Instruments. For someone who is new to synths, are there sounds in these synths I wouldn't be able to get with Omnisphere? I'm mostly a guitar player, producing/recording in my bedroom studio, trying to get a good collection of sounds. These U-He demos have such amazing sounds.
I started slso with guitar and learned some keyboard later. Omnisphere has many that sound similar to Diva. They are not exactly the same, but that retro style. When you know what your doing, Omnisphere can be used to get these same sounds. It’s good advice to learn it before buying more gear to learn without even breaking the surface of Omni’s capabilities.

People just think something is to expensive and give up, don't have patience- but some things can be bought one by one.

With synths that you can buy is the idea they cover most of the same sounds but it’s how they go about the sounds that makes them different and other creative features? I had come up with something in a synth in logic and assumed I could never really replicate it anywhere else so I felt stuck to logic but now I wonder. It was basically a pulsating bass with some added effects and distortion .
There are different types of synths, for example monophonic and polyphonic, and different types of synthesis like virtual analog, wavetable and granular. So first of all you should find out what type of synth the one that comes with Logic is. I'm sure you can find a suitable replacement that way. As for the inbuilt FX (let's say your synth has options like chorus and distortion), I wouldn't worry about that since you can just add another plugin on top of the synth to get the same effect. But if you want to replicate a sound you made, the best way to do it might be to sample it? Maybe even sample all the keys and let Kontakt 6 (if you have it) map them automatically, because I think the result isn't the same when you pitch-shift a sample.

I purchased the OPX Pro II a while back thinking I had the "Ultimate " OBX/OBX-A emulator....but the oberheim patches on this beautiful synth knock the OPX Pro II out of.the water...fatter and warmer ....where can I get these patches

Great work and inspiration! But one question: The ARP Lead 07 (Plughugger) at 08:13. Can't find it in the Twilight 1, 2 and 3. Which library is it from?
I find Diva still just lacks that vibe when compared to hardware. I get it uses a lot of CPU to smooth it out, but it just never quite gets there for me.
Sorry to ask a basic question here but I just downloaded the demo version from plugin boutique and I can't find these presets! I tried searching for them for example "Moog" won't show me massive moog 2 and I couldn't find Luke Neptune anywhere. I'd appreciate any help. TIA
I used to use the Korg legacy collection for this kind of analog sound. I'm just exploring the Diva it is inspiring. Does anyone here have any experience with Korg analog collection to compare? Not like best, better or worst. but for personal taste and user experience etc. Thanks for a good demo.
Could be a few styles. Chill out, meditation, but synthwave is more likely. But even synthwave music , not many song will have an arp like this one. It is an arpeggiator. You make one chord and it plays like a harp...i hope it helps. Subscribe to my channel, thanks!
You could find this sound on loads of ambient, beat-less trance, chillout music from the mid 90's. Humate - Bedrock (Ambient Mix), Dreamfish - School Of Fish, Phillip Glass - Colourbox, Irresistible Force - Space Is The Place are a few just to get you started.

I find Diva still just lacks that vibe when compared to hardware. I get it uses a lot of CPU to smooth it out, but it just never quite gets there for me.

Sorry to ask a basic question here but I just downloaded the demo version from plugin boutique and I can't find these presets! I tried searching for them for example "Moog" won't show me massive moog 2 and I couldn't find Luke Neptune anywhere. I'd appreciate any help. TIA

I used to use the Korg legacy collection for this kind of analog sound. I'm just exploring the Diva it is inspiring. Does anyone here have any experience with Korg analog collection to compare? Not like best, better or worst. but for personal taste and user experience etc. Thanks for a good demo.

What style is this? Where I can listen this kind of music?
Could be a few styles. Chill out, meditation, but synthwave is more likely. But even synthwave music , not many song will have an arp like this one. It is an arpeggiator. You make one chord and it plays like a harp...i hope it helps. Subscribe to my channel, thanks!
You could find this sound on loads of ambient, beat-less trance, chillout music from the mid 90's. Humate - Bedrock (Ambient Mix), Dreamfish - School Of Fish, Phillip Glass - Colourbox, Irresistible Force - Space Is The Place are a few just to get you started.

Arksun has some very good patches for Diva too!
Arksum has great sounds. I first heard his presets for Sylenth1. Now he also has stuff with Luftrum. I got them all.

thanks, man - but i got only about 1 subscriber for 400 views. Majority are adolescents that watch my videos - future producers, majority watch for 20 sec and they move to other channels.
