I actually tried to look up about the contest in the super nintendo game, but I didn't find much. I didn't find out what the prize was, who the winners were, and if the prizes were even handed out at all. On one site I looked at it said that the prize was apparently a cheap cool spot toy and some 7up drinks, but I didn't find any concrete evidence that this was the truth. But there's also a theory that the whole contest pulled an action 52 ooze level 5, meaning the contest was never actually held, but was more off a marketing tool, and considering that the game probably wasn't so well known the contest was forgotten about. In fact in the rest of the world the final screen was removed.
While I originally didn't like Irate Gamer, I came in with an open mind. I'm very impressed with his videos. I'm in support of him now. He's evolved and done VERY well for himself. It takes a certain kind of courage to keep making videos and keep trucking on through the mud people keep throwing. I really, really hope he keeps at it and keeps evolving! Keep up the good work, Chris!

Jeff Rovin gave Spot for NES a really good review in How To Win at Nintendo Games 4. His one real complaint was that he wished the cpu was more diverse with its opening moves. He gave an A for the graphics, noting how well animated the spots are.

I think that's actually a hallway in his house whenever he opens the door. I had a house that was like that before it was awesome it felt like I had my own apartment in my house because the room was so big and there was another door adjacent outside.
Good video. I suppose it is unique. Perhaps a little more time reviewing the actual game and less of the cut scenes? However, that is what makes your videos different from any other classic game reviewer's. I enjoyed it in general though, everybody's taste is different.
