"YOU DARE CHALLENGE ME?!" should be a shirt. It would be super hilarious if they wore it during the game and just pointed to it when they're challenged. XD
When Devils Strike I never said they would be good. It would just be entertaining listening to all the screaming because no one knows what they’re doing
I think the only problem is that in this particular game, Geoff is better than him at almost every aspect. The only time Jeremy got one on Geoff was when Geoff pretty much gave him a kill. And even then, Geoff was gonna win no matter what.
@@tspooner01 Uh, how exactly? It's my opinion that he's fun to watch? And he is a Slytherin, he's said so himself, multiple times. He, Lindsay, and Trevor all are, and it really shows when they play deception games, even though their playstyles are all different. Sorry I dared to mention something nerdy, on a gaming channel, who almost all greatly enjoy that thing? Sorry you apparently were forced to read my two sentence response on a comment, on a nearly year old video, and it upset you so horribly that you needed to tell me that?
@Thomas John dude she’s comparing Jeremy to the usual traits of the people who are in the fantasy series Harry Potter that in said series are in the “house of slytherin”. Shut the fuck up man, ur just a dumbass who doesn’t like a comparison that is easy for a large amount of the world to understand.
I felt like this game could've just devolved into people claiming they had dukes and people were too afraid to challenge in previous videos but in this one I'm glad they're challenging more
Double contessa is one of the best hands, you just have to lie your ass off at the start, and when people take shots at you, they die. Then the next person thinks their being clever and shoots you, and they die, then you have good odds of drawing one of the contessas in the deck. I once even claimed a 4th life with my security. Good times.
GAME RECOMMENDATION: Mountains of Madness I think it would be just hilarious to watch you guys deal with madness that impedes your ability to communicate and have to make decisions quickly.
You guys should really play a legacy game. It's a total match for AH: 1. Potential for a long running series. 2. Generates inside jokes/stories that they can reference 3. Since they usually have the players play roles... there would be role play. 4. There are legacy versions of so many games they've already played: Betrayal Legacy (my personal favorite after watching G&S playing it) and Werewolf Legacy.
There was a time I played this game not looking at any of my cards, and by luck whenever anyone challenged me I had the card in my hands and won the game.
I like how in the speed round Michael was stealing money from Trevor with a Captain despite having 1 card and Gavin still assumed he was being honest about the Assassin
If you guys like this and Resistance, you should play Avalon. It's made by the same people and it's probably one of the best social deduction games I've ever played.
The notification thing needs fixed or updated, sometimes I don't get notifications until hours after it was uploaded, or just not at all, despite having it set to all notifications.
i feel like allegiance should do something more than team. As loyalists, they may have access to something institutional, like pay 4/5 and select a card in a players possession, basically nullifying that. So if you tap their assassin, they try and assassinate, challenging the assassination hurts the perpetrator since their assassin is locked up. As reformists, they may have access to better reputation, represented as maybe paying 3/4 and saying they cannot duke tax or income, meaning they can only use a captain to steal 2 or request foreign aid, blockable by a captain.
I want this to come back but with the ruleset my friends and I created known as "Midnight Coup" Blind cards. You don't get to check them and know what you are. If you are challenged, you have two options. Accept the challenge, cancel your action, and end your turn. Or Challenge the challenge. Flip one card. If it pertains to the action you're doing, they lose a card. If not, flip another card if applicable. If you fail a counter challenge, lose one card. If you had to reveal multiple, shuffle the extras back in. Here's where it gets extra interesting. Double Downs. You can attempt to claim you have double of one kind of influence. Their actions double +1 if it's a token related act. Double Dukes are 7 tokens. Captains steal 5. And more interesting. Ambassador GAINS a card. Not replace. So you could end up with 3. Potentially more. To counter this, double Assassin's kill all your cards. And to counter that. Double Contessa blocks that, OR can block a coup. Of course it's high risk high reward. If you fail a challenge, you lose both cards. Even if one was what you needed. We find this very exciting because instead of trying to figure out the bluff, you're destroying friendships. "No f**k you. I won't let you do that." Or rarely "Lemme help a brother out. I'm contessa, you can't assassinate him." But to make this work, we add 3-4 additional coup decks to prevent card counting.
Deceit has destroyed Jeremy and Alfredo's relationship. They will never trust each other again.
Deceit, the act, or Deceit, the game?

Lightning round coup is one of my favorite things
-Gavin claims he has a Duke
-Jeremy: "I full-heartingly believe that"
-Later that game Jeremy is suprised that Gavin takes 3 coins and challenges him
Makes sense as almost 15 minutes pass with Gavin not taking Duke taxes.
