I get it, you guys needs a bat with Pop but if your depending on a Bat the gives you that edge when toy get to the Big leagues that won't matter. It brings you down cause when it comes to a wood bat it's WAY DIFFERENT
i appreciate your comment, but: -metal bats these days (b.b.c.o.r. certification) are designed to perform similar to wood bats, they're not super juiced up like they used to be in 1990-2010. -these quatro bats are the furthest possible thing away from a wood bat. Some of our favorite BBCOR bats swing a lot more like wood (Stinger Nuke)

I swung the glow stick Quatro in college as a BP bat. The school had a 34 and I was only swinging a 32 or 33 and I loved it. I would have gotten one but I saw the durability issues. Sick bat. Shame you guys hate the new ones so much.

I recently went to georgia for the jr future games and I got an 78 mph pitch high middle that I pieced and felt perfect but only went 255. I'm trying to make a switch to the voodoo 1

Someone needs to interview a bbcor engineer to explain why nobody can design a carbon bbcor better than aluminum. It makes no sense. No other bat cert, heck, no other industry seems to have aluminum greater than carbon.
because in every other bat cert and bat/ball sport, aluminum is incapable of meeting the top performance standard (USSSA 1.15 bpf is a perfect example). In BBCOR, both aluminum and composite can easily hit the ceiling, but since composite breaks-in over time, they have to start quite a ways below that bbcor ceiling - and at the end of their life right before they break, they can finally hit the bbcor ceiling. Whereas aluminum starts at the ceiling, and stays there. BBCOR ruined the benefit of composite bats

You would think that the reviews of the Quattro over the past few years would push them back to the Glowstik tech, but I suppose they must see good enough revenue from ultra-light swinging bats (Quattro, Velo) to stick with their portfolio. The past few years, IMHO, the 5150 has been their best bat from a performance perspective. I guess they really haven't had much of an R&D budget before the acquisition; that's the only explaination I can come up with for the lame bats in recent years, while it seems nearly everyone else has been upping their game. I had hoped that Easton, and their great tech from Combat/Maxum would have resulted in a better Quattro, but maybe it looks like 2024 might be when that merger bears fruit. Disappointing, but not all that surprising.

Fun story- I have a pretty good 2 seam that ran in on a kid's hands that was using the red version of this bat. He swung and it snapped the handle of the bat in half. Not even at the connection piece, just the handle itself.
My son loves a 2017 velo ... Any of the expensive bats we do not see a performance justification difference. His school has a Vandel which he also likes

yeah man when my school switched from the Velos/5150s to the new 2017 Quatros when they came out, they hit the ball noticeably better right away.

I have the 2021 Solo and is a really good balanced bat for the price. I found one slightly used almost like new for 110.00
