This must have been one of the best reviews that i have com across. Right to the point moving from one subject of the car to another. Doing it quick but very detailed. Awesome review! Keep up the good work!!!
Bought this exact one 2018 silver lx, hoping it will last ten years post graduation. No need for navigation bc most phones are better at updating their maps compared to built in units. Don’t mind the hub caps incase you ever hit a pothole it’s much cheaper to fix compared to steel or aluminum wheels. Overall, it’s a reliable car with good gas mileage and holds its value very well compared to the competition.
Haha this is what I have. Very basic, gets the job done. I average 35 mpg. I wish they would do away with the hub caps, that seems pretty crazy to me that companies are still doing that. All in all I love the car.
@@FearlessXcel I actually got rid of the car & bought the 2019 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring. I would highly recommend the Hatchback variant of the Civic. The 2016 LX Sedan I had was pretty slow. The 1.5T on the Hatchbacks are decently quick, definitely much quicker than the 2.0NA on the standard Sedan Civics. 2020 Sport Hatchback is an awesome value right now.
Good afternoon. You didn't say anything about the car key. How does it work, in what modes? Does it close the doors only with the remote control or is it also possible with a blade? Thank you!
Depends where you are but I am in Canada and I am currently getting a used 2016 Honda Civic lx for about 17,400$ with 60,000kms so that’s roughly around 20k$ usd
Hi, just got this model. I noticed that the screen is black and just displays the time on the right corner. But it’ll still play my music when I connect with usb. Is it off our is there a issue with the screen?
I am such an idiot, I tried looking for the charging port by sticking my hand in the hole in the middle, turns out it was on the side on the bottom this whole time. Thank you so much!
None that I know of, but you can always call a local Honda dealership and ask if there have been any issues that have come up to be aware of. You would be surprised the knowledge they have and will share. They are not trying to sell you the car, so not as biased..
Turn the radio off, then push and hold down the phone button, then push no once there's a popup on the screen. From there scroll down and you can remove Bluetooth devices from the menu. Wouldn't recommend disconnecting the battery

Thanks for watching!
I got one but it was crashed (front) and it wasn’t even that bad, my dad fixed it up really quick and it was worth it, I got it for 4,000$ killer deal
I just barely purchased a 2016 Honda LX. And so far I like the car and now that I know all the buttons and what they do and it makes it even better
Most professional. Non bullshit review I've ever seen. Great job msn. Thank you

How is the car’s speed overall?

Does the back up camera not alert you when you are too close to an object?
Wow this review is really something else, thanks!
Solid review, good job!

I like 2013-2015 Honda Civic’s cluster model better. Overall, great review!!
No navigation? I have this car and forgot to ask and have been trying to look for that
@Justin Fuller may I know if there are rear AC vents in the Civic LX trim
How do delete phones from bluey
How do you delete devices that has been connected already ?
When did paddle shifters come out on civics?
DId you mention that this car doesn't have fogger lights? Is it necessary to have fogger lights or is there anther way to use HIGH beams?
The LX does not come with them standard. Just pointing out a difference between this and the model above it. You do have high beams.
Thank you for your response! Good to know. Still learning about the base model. But at least I can use the high beam lights just in case.
What the difference between 2019 vs 2016 Honda Civic lx
Is there any difference from the 2020 Honda Civic lx?
How do you change the Walmart you did with the black and white ?
It does not have back camera to help with car packing?
Since 2013 all Hondas come with a back-up camera as a standard feature.
what happens if you have brake hold on and you push on the gas
It will release the brake and allow you to move forward.
how to change the auto lock?
You forgot to mention the Back Up Cam
I’m 16 turning 17 and I really want this car hopefully My parents get it for me
Is there really no aux port ?
Hey man, great video. I'd like to know if you can help me with the the current price range of a used 2016 LX. Thanks!

Quick question the what is the s for the gear change is that sports mode and I was also curious about the L gear as well
Sport - revs at a higher RPM giving you more acceleration. Lower gears - for slowly moving the vehicle.
Does it have an aux ?
strange the Lx model in canada as a lot more features
Does it have backup camera?
Yes
Just forgot to mention the backup camera 😊...great review otherwise.
Looking at 2016 honda civic 77,000 miles for 12,000.00. does that sound like a good deal
nice if you got the deal
Thanks for reviewing the Honda Civic 2016 but you forgot to tell us the engine quality.
it runs on a 1.8L 4 cylinder engine. That engine was used for several years. I drove a Civic with that engine. Great car!
Do you know how to access the secret menu to turn on the camera while driving? I can’t find the info how to do it!
Not sure that is an option.
What is the MSRP for this car?
What size is the engien ?
Thansk
They start around $21K and it has a 4 cylinder engine. 2.0L.
Aux ??
Why the intermittent groan when accelerating slowly at 1500 rpm? Muuuuuwaaaaahhhhhh.
The other models have problems this one don’t
Has there been any common issues with this car?
None that I know of, but you can always call a local Honda dealership and ask if there have been any issues that have come up to be aware of. You would be surprised the knowledge they have and will share. They are not trying to sell you the car, so not as biased..
How much this car cost to fill up
Zay Skooly with mine it’s about 25
About 33$
The gas tank holds 12.4 gallons so at $2 a gallon look at about $25 for a full tank
$40 in California these days 😪
No backup camera?
All 2013 and newer Hondas have back up camera.
What is the difference between the 2016 touring and that of the 2017 touring?
The 2016 and 2017 Touring should show no change I believe.
are other ones remote keyless entry?
The models above do offer this.
I got this so i can afford the hellcat in a couple years
No CarPlay?
Shanesha Brown Not on the 2016 LX model. It’s only available on the 2016 EX model on up.
It’s okay I rather save money on not having steel rims and the factory radio I can swap out with my double din
How do I do a radio reset on mine? I can't add/remove any bluetooth devices
If you can not remove connections under setting and bluetooth, you can do a hard reset. Unplug the batter to t he vehicle for a few minutes.
Turn the radio off, then push and hold down the phone button, then push no once there's a popup on the screen. From there scroll down and you can remove Bluetooth devices from the menu. Wouldn't recommend disconnecting the battery
wow I thought my car couldn’t tell me how much gas😂😂😂 this whole time

I read this 2016 honda civic have ac and heater problem

When buying this car please go test drive and make sure you are comfortable with the road noise. 2 Hour of highway drive will give you a headache.
No, it doesn't
Sorry no aux
This vehicle has a USB.
