I love John Carpenter and I've always yearned for a game where you play as the Antarctican visitor or something like it. Some games like Prototype got close but never scratched that itch. Glad to see I'm not the only one who craves monosymbiosis
The actual Thing game was pretty cool but I always thought it would have been better if you got to play as the remnants of the visitor and take on whoever came to the camp to investigate.

@@DryCerealGaming I think the tearing effects from film cameras helps. It kind of make them seem more surreal, almost like a dream, or in the case of horror movies, a nightmare.
