The new owners are the luckiest dudes on the planet. This 986 was shown so much love by Aaron with video documentation every step of the way...congratulations! ❤
+Stgpop yeah I didn’t post it for sale anywhere, just mentioned it on some Boxster pages for that reason :). It pays to watch the channel and follow me on FB and IG 😆
You actually helped me with replacing my gas cap on my 2001 Boxster - I couldn't figure out how to get the old tether off/new one on, but you told me how to do it. Other projects - well, they were fun to watch, but seeing you do them made me realize what was and was NOT in my skill set, so I farmed out things like the blowing foam chunks from the heater to my favorite shop (who while not cheap do great work). Plus it was nice just knowing how some of that stuff goes together.
I still have my 1997 porsche boxster (986) with 117k and still performing great and turning heads every time I use it. Congrats to the new owner that just purchased your 986, I'm sure he will have no regrets since these are really fun cars to drive. "Happy 2023!!"
Watched your headlight upgrade a few times before tackling mine. Have been watching the heater switch video for my next project. You provide great insight.
Almost forgot watched your spoiler video also so I could see how remove mine. Your channel has been helpful with my Boxster. Sometimes reading a how to just doesn’t show you what you want to know.
Big thanks from the UK. All your videos are helping me get the confidence to maintain my 986 S myself. Really have appreciated all the content. So far oil change, coolant change, pollen filter, air filter so standard service. Gearbox oil, brake fluid, spark plugs and auxiliary belt bought and ready for spring.
got a boxster recently without really any prior knowledge and ive learnt alot from your videos and probably been one of the sole reasons ive gotten more into cars and how they work
Got a 987 recently but used a lot of your videos to help turn mine into a manual top when the transmissions failed...and learned how to clean the drain plugs. Go Gators!
Congrats on coordinating a successful sale and purchase of the next car so close together. Your videos are great and are the reason for my Christmas present(s) this year: a ducktail & lettering for my black '03 986 S. Your videos are also responsible for its clean radiators. I only wish I had installed mesh while the bumper was off. Might try one that says "no bumper removal required" (radiator grill store) just the horizontal trim pcs. Happy New Year & wishing you plenty more subscribers.
Nothing fancy, but I did my first tire change (on any car) two weeks ago from summer to winters. Was able to do it right thanks to the video demo from your wife :) I've also watched a lot of the other videos you posted to see what steps were involved in doing some things that I ended up having my mechanic do (like the cruise control and OBC upgrade for instance). Thanks for all the very helpful 986 videos over the years!
I've watched many of your videos but have been getting out there and driving more than dabbling. I'm still in the honeymoon phase after 4 months...😊 I look forward to seeing what's next.
Sad to see her go, just know you have helped me and other a lot with their Boxster 986. Are you planning on getting another car and used it as a project like this one?
Just discovered your channel 6 months ago. Your videos have been helpful in problem solving items on my 986 ! Also watching them I was able to say "Nah, we not getting into THAT project!" Now, I need you to pick up a Cayenne S to wrench on. Yannow, maybe around 2008 vintage?! Cheers!
just when i started watching the channel... looking for more vids and then i see this.... sad it was the best thing going for him... lol wish i knew... i wonder what the selling price was.. did he even post a vid it was up for sale???
I’ve done almost every single video you’ve posted and man it’s been so fun! Saved me so much time and money. You really helped me bring mine alive again and tons of fun! Can’t wait to see your new venture for sure. 🎉

Not doing heated seats but need two power switches and that is a great spot.
