I am fascinated by the creative possibilities of steam bending wood. In this project I squeeze the boundaries of wood bending to the tightest radius I can achieve.
I found that Ashwood is best when it comes to steam bending.
This is the most demanding and sophisticated project I have ever shown on RUclips.
    Thanks for watching.
Good bidding for a good cause.
All the money goes to the children!
Check the Ebay auction for product- and shipping details.

The craftsmanship here is truly one of a kind.
    - Uses a coke bottle for under bandsaw dust collection
    - Creates an edge radius with a bolt & nut and a table saw
    - Creates his own charcoal powder
    - Uses a roasting bag for steaming hard wood
    - Crafts another edge radius with masking tape, black spray paint, a spoke shave, and sand paper
    - so so so so much more.
I’ve never seen anything like this. And it’s an astoundingly beautiful piece. Well done.

André, as a patternmaker I know something about the material and machines you used. You can be very proud of the work you showed, this is some of the finest woodworking I have ever seen. And as a former employee of a design-biased furniture company, I can say that this design is unique and truly formidable.
I hope you did sell this work of art for good money, because it is worth every single cent. Giving this to a charity is really generous of you. Very well done, sir, you earned my full respect.

wow, you make it look easy, but as a carpenter and woodworker myself I can begin to understand the patience and commitment required to pull off such a project, from the confidence in design to the choice of materials to switching between the industrial workshop and home studio to the complicated and time consuming techniques such as steam bending, and to think you did that all for charity, I have a high level of respect for you. if only we had politicians with similar levels of dedication our countries would be better places
