I am fascinated by the creative possibilities of steam bending wood. In this project I squeeze the boundaries of wood bending to the tightest radius I can achieve.
I found that Ashwood is best when it comes to steam bending.
This is the most demanding and sophisticated project I have ever shown on RUclips.
Thanks for watching.
Good bidding for a good cause.
All the money goes to the children!
Check the Ebay auction for product- and shipping details.

Ok deine absaugautomatik toppt sogar meine Dachlatte!!!! 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍 Liebe grüße #derkompressorschrauber
The craftsmanship here is truly one of a kind.
- Uses a coke bottle for under bandsaw dust collection
- Creates an edge radius with a bolt & nut and a table saw
- Creates his own charcoal powder
- Uses a roasting bag for steaming hard wood
- Crafts another edge radius with masking tape, black spray paint, a spoke shave, and sand paper
- so so so so much more.
I’ve never seen anything like this. And it’s an astoundingly beautiful piece. Well done.
Ditto. The way he works is brilliant and the awesome little workshop additions to make everything more efficient for the way he needs it to work... Genius!!
A Big Big thanks brother 🙏
You have a lot of interesting ideas; glass scraper, charcoal dye, brush feather board, clamps, clamps with a wheel, and what ever that weight on a string was to turn on your vacuum! 😂
A BIG BIG thanks 🙏
Amazing! Best Woodworker on RUclips!
Do you know how glad I am to find something like this without a single word being uttered.
Thank you
Thank you for doing your work in silence. Words are silver and silence is gold
Vielen Dank, dass Sie Ihre Arbeit in Stille erledigen. Worte sind Silber und Stille ist Gold
Lavorare chiacchierando si produce poco e male...
The amount of ingenuity in a single video of yours is just overwhelming!
Oh, snap! That brush "feather board" thing is just ingenious. And inexpensive!
André, as a patternmaker I know something about the material and machines you used. You can be very proud of the work you showed, this is some of the finest woodworking I have ever seen. And as a former employee of a design-biased furniture company, I can say that this design is unique and truly formidable.
I hope you did sell this work of art for good money, because it is worth every single cent. Giving this to a charity is really generous of you. Very well done, sir, you earned my full respect.
Thank you sooooo much 🙏🙏🙏
THIS! NOW THIS is how you use epoxy on a table! I am amazed, and learned a tonne from this video! thank you for sharing
Watching you work, is like watching an action movie, with a good ending!
Great job! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
That clamp with a wheel on is the coolest thing I have ever seen!
Simply love these projects you can make on one Saturday morning.
lol ONE? geeze i wish I had a workflow like that. the veneers and steaming alone would take me 2 days to fit it all up happily, and resin takes 2 days to set in my experience =p
@@lyulf0 Yeah you need to get your game together 😂
The number of completely different and advanced techniques, tools and methods that went into creating this table is astounding, and the level of precision is unmatched.
I just discovered your site. From the fully decked out Felder shop, to the rigged-on-the-cheap small shop (the dropping weight to turn on the vacuum!) to the design and building techniques to the videography--one surprise after another. Like nothing I've ever seen. Brilliant!
Oh Thank God so glad you are still alive! Thank you for uploading.
Yes! Where have you been. More vid please!
wow, you make it look easy, but as a carpenter and woodworker myself I can begin to understand the patience and commitment required to pull off such a project, from the confidence in design to the choice of materials to switching between the industrial workshop and home studio to the complicated and time consuming techniques such as steam bending, and to think you did that all for charity, I have a high level of respect for you. if only we had politicians with similar levels of dedication our countries would be better places
A BIG BIG thanks 🙏🙏
Many of his methods made me scratch my head but seeing the end result was worth it. My favorite trick was the coal dust as his pigment for the resin. Very cool. I think he is more a renaissance man. Nice that he has access to the felder equipment must be nice
Wow! When I saw the soda bottle dust shroud I already knew you were a genius. Then, the glass scraper, the steam contraption, the literal charcoal dye… your ingenuity is incredible. Cheers and thanks for sharing your beautiful work.
A BIG Thanks 🙏
This has to be one of the coolest build videos I’ve ever seen. The amount of techniques shown, and creativity without even speaking one word through the process is amazing. If anyone walks away after watching this video with out learning at least 10 things, or wasn’t inspired, isn’t human. Thanks so much for taking the time to make this awesome video! I’m truly inspired, and picked a ton of useful knowledge. ✌🏻
P.s anyone that thumbs down this isn’t human either. 😂
GOALS! This guy is like the Jason Statham of woodworking! Ya ever watch someone create that blows your mind? This guy made me rethink my entire woodworking mindset. SUBBED, my friend, you are the modern day Leonardo da Vinci!
Is there anything more satisfying than your Smile after finishing the project... Great Job man!
Beautiful. How anyone can give a negative response is unbelievable.
You are a woodworking legend. This is absolutely perfect in techniques and final result. Awesome
It’s rare to see fine craftsmanship AND creativity in one creator. Thank you for the videos, especially the lack of narrative, the work speaks for itself.
Haha I love the drama as you run and skid, also very very impressed with your ingenious ideas like clamps for rolling the wood or metal braces for adjustable universal size clamps etc wow
Ah yes another video by this very talented RUclipsr good job dude!
Beautiful art, unique table, thank you!
You are at another level! I cannot imagine the time it took to build it. AMAZING, CONGRATULATIONS
Makes me weep , your kindness. So much effort.
The joy in your face.
Thank you
Да ты волшебник!
Can't find words, Just amazing, wish u all the best.
Watching this was like a meditation time. Great workmanship and craftsmanship.
That diagonal centered drill hole jig is genius. Works on different sizes, dead on center. Didn't know such a thing existed but I love it.
Simply - WOW!
Wow, All I can say is you are one talented craftsman. I enjoyed watching you create a unique and gorgeous table.the
The head of a brush as a featherboard -ingenious idea! Necessity is the mother of invention...and all that
Man... The sheer number of tricks I have never seen before...
NO COMMENT'S !!!!
Я, лично, впечатлён. Кропотливая и классная работа.
👍🏿👍👍🏿👍👌🏿👌👌🏿👌
Это какая-то лаборатория столярного плотнического искусства!
I want to say thanks to people like you that work so hard for children & they’re care takers to have what they need
Amazing, and for such a great cause. There's so many cool jigs, tools, mods, clamps...etc etc. My hat is off to you, sir. I have to watch this video 100 more times. Anyone else replay several parts to get ideas for your own shop? Shop-vac switch contraption? PVC pipe for using a router bit on a drill? This guy is a GENIUS!
That is some serious amount of work.
It looks amazing 😳
Wonderful...! The craft and the cause.
You are on another level - in so many ways. The table is incredible...obviously, and all the other wizardry used throughout the shop is brilliant. Hats off sir, for you are incredible at what you do.
oh my God. this is not a regular video on youtube! this is a masterclass
of the many powertools you have, there is one tool that really impressed me, a piece of glass, I was very impressed to see your work, even like I was hypnotized to see what you were doing, so that not a second of your video I missed.👍🙏
Thanks Dendy 🙏
your wellcome bro..🙏
@Popeye not only in bali..in my country Indonesia much people still use some broken glass. i impressed of what i see, in this video, becouse not much carpenter especially in RUclips using the glass ..most of them, using a modern powertools..
Great job !! Excellent & beautiful ! Thank you and happy new year from France !!
That’s one hell of a shop !! The clamp w/the wheel is slick 👍
Man, this guy has all the tricks and techniques!
Doing something like that for charity sounds like a great reason to spend so much time and energy to create a piece of art like that.
Piekna robota ! robi wrazenie !
I'm more blown away at how he's got such straight cuts with a bandsaw, 15 years of using them and I still can't get a cut without the blade fucking off where it wants haha
I’m watching this video and just had to say; the thought process and putting together of this design is awesome! I love it! Looks great! Whoever wins the bid to buy this table will be very pleased!
The most creative work I have seen in quite sometime. Thank you for sharing your talents and kind heart
because of this , im ur subscriber now.
Brilliant Sir.
Amazing job.
I watch a lot of maker vids and this has to be one of the most original ideas I've seen
Brilliant. And we’ve missed you
Amazing work! Congrats!
Muchas gracias 🙏
I'm fanboy of both of you! ❤️
good job bro, you are so amazing.
You're such a genius at work efficiency that you make the rest of us look like rank amateurs. And that's why sometimes I hate you. Good work.
My jaw was dropping every second of this video. I didn’t even think one could steam bend wood that way. Omg!
Speechless! Incredible !
Thanks 🙏
Боже мой ! Сколько труда !!! Это всего лишь стол !!!
I love all the little cheats in your shop, and these videos are so amazing to watch. Absolutely LOVE your work.
Wow! So many takeaways from this. All the jigs, all the little helpful hints. Thanks!
What the fuck did I just watch?....... That was unbelievable. There are a lot of great wood workers to watch and learn from on RUclips, but you sir, are something else. That was masterful. Well done, and I am a new subscriber for sure.
From Vietnamese children thank you alot! ❤
Ronduit geweldig!
The table is simple but very beautiful, the bent legs look so soft!
I needed to watch this a few times, fantastic skill and artistry as a carpenter and whoever's behind the camera. Absolutely nothings dull, I'm definitely subscribing
Kid with your talent you don't need the amazing tools, but it makes it easier😉. Awesome job for an awesome cause.
A BIG THANKS for your appreciaton 🙏🙏🙏🙏
So much to love! Felder toolporn in the begining. The wheelclampthingy. Your simple steamer. And of course your idea in the first place to glue those small pieces in that order. It looks great! I'm just wondering what type of glue you use.
Regards,
Etna.
i believe it was cascamite
The auction ended at 2900 eur. I would have expected higher offers for this amazing work of art.
The amount of craftsmanship on display here is astonishing.
This is insane. The hours and hours of work which must have gone into designing and creating this. Incredible!
Too nice for our society
You are a very chariTable man
Absolutely thrilling craftsmanship. A beautiful creation for an enlightened cause. Bravo.
Wow! True craftsman. All kinds of tricks. Beautiful table.
Let me see if I understand what I saw.
Did you make relief cuts along the length of the board, in anticipation of its own movement with changes in the environment? And then stabilize *that with a sliding dovetail?
Was ein geiles Teil ... was soll man da noch sagen. Nach "ich habe eine Bank gebaut" .... haut er n Ofen hin den die Welt noch nicht gesehen hat und jetzt das. Sprachlos #kreith32
Vielen Lieben Dank mein lieber Arne🙏
Absolutely beautiful.
I had to watch it twice to follow the details. And it is a beautiful gesture to help children. Blessings.
A true work of art. Seems like it took you AGES to steam, glue, laminate, overlap, plane dow bumps, etc. Right on, bro. Gorgeous
Ikea inspired connections ?! :)
Колоссально!
Very nice table. You are an artis with your skill. I learned a lot of your carpentry skills and I am very grateful to you for helping Vietnamese children. Respect from VN!
Thanks mate :)
Классная задумка!💪👍
Amazing craftmanship how much did the table go for ???
Hi Andrew Unfortunately the minimum price of $ 4000 was not reached ... I finally donated the money and kept the table
@@createdesign What a shame with it being for a great charity, amazing craftmanship
Что это было?
Столько опилок.
Леса не хватит на такие изделия.
It starts with a genius design idea, multiple skill sets, patience, careful execution. Carpentry 11 out of 10 points.

A BIG thanks 🙏
The amount of creativity in his tools is astounding, and the art is... wow.

20:28 расслоение??
Holy moly! The energy to do each meticulous step is inspiring. I’m exhausted just by watching.
I need to take a nap.
OMG... I can't believe it's possible as perfectly as like you made
