I love all the subtle nods to other themes throughout the ark soundtrack, I even caught the little hint of the overseer in Rockwell's battle suite ;D

Journey's End had me bawling, if your intention was to make people cry, it worked. It reminds me of all of the good memories I've had from start to finish on ARK. Genesis 2 is a freakin' masterpiece.

i can't even fathom what it must be like to compose an array of inconceivably spectacular soundtracks for a game series for 6 years. then to have to write a finale soundtrack for said game series that you have most likely formed a connection with after writing such great music for it for 6 years.
you are a spectacular composer, and i've always loved the music you've produced. can't wait for what incredible compositions will be made for ark 2.

I mean there's nothing that I can ever say that would describe how much shivers went down by my spine when the main theme blasts off in full force one last time. Absolutely beautiful, to quote something from the game itself....I shall just be quiet now.

We came this far from taming our first dodo to snatching a wyvern egg to meeting Rockwell for the first time personally and then defeating the earths almost Destined destroyers, we awake in a simulation and break free only to be brought to the end. It’s sad isn’t it...

For anyone who was looking for Rockwell's Low health OST. It's the main theme but played on a certain part of that soundtrack. The part starts at about 1:40

Gareth made this music really feel like the ending of the game... Shivers and honestly overperforming my expectations.
One of the most beautiful pieces of music I've listened to ever; a blend of neo-classical and electronic tunes.
Unknown Parts and The Rockwell Proliferation Themes are so besutifull at his way, that i cannot even play good because i Just wanna Pause the game to hear it well
I adore that main theme! The use of the synths at the beginning and the use of the original main theme makes me so happy.
journey's end really makes me remember my adventures on the islands extreme climates, scorched earths intense heat, aberrations mysterious caverns, extinctions massive titans, genesis's part 1 simulation and recently part 2's emotional ending.
Just can't believe I missed this piece of soundtrack after listening to the first OST for countless hours. This is absolute masterpiece, and I didn't expect to hear anything less than that.
Been waiting for this all morning, bruh!! Gareth, if u see this, then you’re my second favorite composer of all time, even better than Hans Zimmer and John Williams, but the only one you still need to beat is John Powell, he’s going to be pretty tough to beat! But anyway, may Ark forever live in the hearts and minds of us, you’re fans!

best game soundtrack ive heard in a while, Gareth is a legit Hans Zimmer when it comes to game soundtracks.
I remember the night Gen 2 came out I was studying suddenly notification from ark channel gen 2 released
I already saw nooblets and ark survival guide looking for base and resource locations
Some Spanish guy was streaming himself doing Code Red on Alpha difficulty with an R-Reaper
And two guys plus 3 over discord on PS4 already killed Rockwell but their games crashed when it was time of the cut scene and they ended their streams
I remember with such detail honestly one of the best days in my life my heart rate was through the roof and I played Genesis part 2 like an animal since then even though we have ark survival Ascended now this game will hold a special place in my reserved heart.

Yep, Journeys end is still a masterpiece of a track and still makes me tear up.
Me again, the Rockwell Battle Suite is not only far better than the Overseer battle suite, but this one is far more dynamic, and diversified and more well-balanced overall! Great job, Gareth!!

I haven't followed Ark's storyline for too long, and still am on the Island. But I've been watching this game progress for multiple years, and Journey's End still makes me sad.

Rockwell and his tentacles disliked
Rockwell's Garden II and Rockwell Postlude are my favorite pieces in this track, because they really make me feel a sense of tragedy for Rockwell. Here's a guy that started off kind of okay but then let his obsession turn him into a monster.

I listen to video game music so much because it's supposed to accompany with the game. With games that have a meaningful story that makes you feel emotions, the music is usually amazing and is waaay more significant than any song on the radio. This soundtrack is one of the best I've seen!

So many of these combat tracks are really beautiful and it kind of feels like they were relegated to being combat tracks, that’s how good they are. Especially the Rockwell’s Gardens.

Personal favourite is Slipstream Sweep, though after the undeniable one Journey's End.
I have over 1,000 hours on ark when I'm done gen 2 its will be very emotional for my because ark has been a big part of my life
Eden 4 has a bit of the king titan's theme and that's my fav soundtrack from extinction so great job on that my guy
