I had a septoplasty one year ago and I’m devastated that I didn’t do it years ago. Being able to breathe properly is the greatest gift.
I spent 6 years with the problem
@@LuisTorres-hm1qh I spent 12 years. I'm getting it fixed next week. Doctors kept writing it off as migraines
Me too in 1 week n i am nervous
Me too but soon
@@yaserkh1302 just got mine today. It's not that bad. They give you vicodin for the pain and antibiotics. The only thing thats semi painful is a bit of blood on the back of my throat giving my a sore throat. Other than that I feel great!
I need this. When I was sixteen I got into a fight where my opponent brutally broke my nose and I had to snap the septum back into place. I have had nothing but problems for 18 years since.
Thank you so much for this! I plan on getting my septoplasty once I turn 18 because I'm ready to be Able to breathe well and look symmetrical for once 🤣
My nose bridge is physically crooked, it leans towards the right which makes it hard to breathe through my left nostril. If I were to get a septoplasty, would it change the physical appearance of my nose and make it straighter?
No I don’t think so
I have the exact same problem!
I literally have the exact same problem! It wouldn’t change the physical appearance other than possibly having a more symmetrical nose I think, that’s what I’ve heard from people online
I have the same problem! I broke mine four years ago and I can’t breathe through my left side :( and my septum is crooked to the right
Thank you!
Does removing the cartridge cause any issues?
I couldn’t help but laugh because I was thinking of a game cartridge, but I know you meant cartilage. I hope you found your answer somewhere on the internet!
I participate in MMA competition. So I was recommended once to go for this surgery is it safe for me to continue MMA without losing my nose structure after getting hits severely?
My 9 year old child's one nostril is blocked because inner bone is bend towards one side .so he feel strange in breathing what is solution sir...please reply sir..
Thank you. Very helpful
I had it back in 2010 but it’s deviated a little again
But I don’t want empty nose syndrome
Anyone else got Eustachian tube dysfunction because of this?? My Symptoms are tinnitus and ear fullness like when you get on a plane, the doctor said I need surgery lol :(
me. absolutely torture. I have to get surgery as well and I'm kind of scared! but I can't wait to breathe properly

Where is the surgery?
I broke my nose twice when I was 4, I talk through my nose, I sleep on my right side better than my left. Will septum surgery fix my nasal voice?
Yeah
Why you removed the comment for the person who mentioned non surgical cases
How to know my no DNS
Am trying to see a doctor near Philadelphia… can any one suggest a good ENT specialist as I need to get all three procedures
I've been asked if my nose was broken. Come to find out i have a deviated septum :)
I’m almost 24 hours after putting mine off for months and months. It’s totally blocked by blood by I’m so excited for it to be normal in a few weeks
@@JohntehGman how'd it go?
@@chrishayes5755 It went well, just a day of sitting and doing nothing, few nights of sleeping up right and then 2 weeks of annoyingness with the stints haha, My nose is normal. Can breath out of both nostrils equally now.
I have a septorhinoplasty booked for August. I have a crooked nose to the right. Some say the chance of it going back to the right is around 50-60%. Others say it’s very rare and it’ll be around 5%...in your personal opinion, what are the chances my nose will deviate back again?
Hi how was it
Samantha Dattoo went well, I’d say that there is definitely still a deviation in my nose in the nasal bone area. I believe my cast was not put on straight which might have made my name alittle crooked. Otherwise I’m personally happy as to how it turned out since it’s still better than what it was before. I still am unsure about the redeviation as it seems not even 1 doctor can give a straight answer to this question
@@WholesaleJewelleryAustralia ah u breathing better bcuz i going to do it but I want to no if u does breath better
I dont breath good my noes always stuffy
Samantha Dattoo my breathing has been amazing. I’ve got a functional external septorhinoplasty, Turbinateplasty and Mini FESS. Just to make sure you know what I’ve got done.
Is it painful?
The effectiveness is up to patients. Some can be 50% cured, some 25%, or 100%
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone had this done did it bruise your like nose and eyes that's the only thing I'm scared
What they won't tell you is you may never smell or taste anything ever again
How so
I’d probably lose weight since I wouldn’t be able to taste fast food so ya know, that’s a win in my book
bro you better be lying-
You’re joking right? 😭
@@MikaylaMinecraftproductions no its very possible. They have no way of telling who will or won't get their smell and taste back. After my surgery my doctor told me it was a 50/50 thing. I researched it and it's much more rare than that but the fact that they didn't tell me beforehand had me worried it took me two months before I was able to taste anything or smell anything
