I have to live with a hole in my nose after a deviated septal surgery. Every morning I have to spend 20 to 30mins cleaning my nose to get all the crust out. I have to make sure not to clean too hard which causes my nose to bleed. My perforation is in front of my nose u can clearly see it and it's getting bigger. The doctor who caused it said I can just live with it. Before my surgery I can't breathe now I can breathe but I have to live with a hole in my nose. Sucks but can't do anything about it.

I had septoplasty during the healing process it cause a hole to open up in my septum
I'm going for round 2 to get it fixed anxiety will go through the roof again no doubt

I have a perforated septum which I feel is from my rare autoimmune diseases; mixed connective tissue disease overlapping with Scleroderma and Dermatomyasitis. I’ve never used drugs so it’s not from cocaine usage. I’m to have a magnetic septal button installed soon. Because of my autoimmune diseases I’m not a good candidate for septal surgery and a skin graft. I’m sure hoping the button works well for me!

Hi, I'm gonna have a septum button put in my nose in couple of weeks. I have a hole from nasal surgery. I just want to know how has the septum button work for you. I'm afraid for surgery but has to done no matter what. I appreciate your input. Thanks
