The LOUDEST Valved Exhaust for the Audi B9 S4?!! (ECS Tuning Non-Res Catback)

- The Audi S4 B9 finally has an a valved cat back exhaust from ECS Tuning! The Cat back exhaust is a non-resonated valved exhaust with black 4 inch tips that uses the factory valve controller and settings. The ECS Tuning Valved Catback exhaust is paired currently with the stock downpipe.
Let us know in the comments below if we should put a Catted or Catless downpipe on the Audi B9 S4!

It’s great to see the exhaust didn’t change the sound signature of EA839. Anyway S4 is a sleeper, so I’m still gonna keep using my stock exhaust, except for the plugs unplugged by following your instructions, hahahaha! Thx bro!

Sounds great👌🏻 I have the awe catback. ( I also have a downpipe tho, which you most definitely need to get ) but the ecs looks better, and i like how yours sounds over mine. Once you have that downpipe man it’s going to sound crazy good! 🤘🏻🤘🏻( even more so then now ) think we could get a couple clips of that Porsche, that thing looks clean AF!🤜🏻🤛🏻also what tool kits were those?

Honestly price point was huge and I like the xpipe on the full system. IMO it smooths out the exhaust tone overall. Excited for downpipe now haha

Hey, I got a b9 s4 as well, I was wondering how noticeable the difference is between this exhaust and stock. Currently between this exhaust and the AWE track exhaust. I like that this exhaust has the valves, but I’m stuck in the middle.
I wouldn’t get a track exhaust personally. Just take your car to a reputable exhaust/muffler guy and have him delete the front resonators - test it to your liking.. then delete mid resonator and see if you like it, and if you need more sound you can have your rear mufflers deleted. This is like a $100-300 job
Get the AWE switchpath if you want valves. ECS service is garbage and their parts are lower quality. I've been burned by them too many times. Never again.
Hey man, love the page. I live in Massachusetts and have a ‘19 s4. I was thinking about going with this exhaust but wasn’t sure if I’d still pass my state inspection. Lmk what you think, any info is appreciated 👍🏻
You shouldn’t have an issue as long as you keep your stock downpipe 👍. No check engine or codes thrown for just a catback and with the valves closed it only sounds slightly louder than stock

@Driven by Boost Dec 22nd is the ship date, allegedly 🥴, was it a PITA to get the DP bolts off? Like 24 hours before I swap it, I'll spray those bolts with PB blaster just because 😄
@@rpmautodetailing5958 it was just a very difficult angle to reach at. The bolts themselves not too bad but just super hard to access
My s4 is stock and warranty isn’t up until 2023. I’ve wanted to tune it but obviously that will more than likely void my warranty. What are your thoughts as far as voiding warranty? How reliable has the engine been for you after tuning?
Zero issues from multiple tuned cars so far, it’s always a gamble but for me and many others it’s definitely worth the risk 🤙

It’s the new ZF 8 speed auto, amazing transmission. Bullet proof and shifts very quick
