Well well well, nice to see Captain MJX have developed a "Tree Trimming" Drone and this will no doubt spawn a raft of accessories (Hedge / Grass Trimmers!!!) In all seriousness; its amazing to see the advancements in Drone technology (particularly low cost ones) which are now slowly catching up to the DJIs / Yuneec offerings.......BTW; loved the the intro.........

I definitely like this one over the Bugs 20. I've bought a few drones , Holy Stone hs700d, JXRC X11 and the CJX 7 Pro . You told me weeks ago to try and buy a Mavic Mini but the Fimi X8 Se 2020 seems to be one the one that I really want to invest in over the DJI . Great review as always

Appreciate you doing these reviews despite the cold Captain. Looks like another solid ones amidst the others. Probably should have waited to get this instead of the Bugs 5W 4K.
Great review. Based on it, I purchased an MJX B12 EIS and it only took two weeks for delivery from China to the US. I've been flying DJI drones since the Phantom 1. My other current drone is a Phantom 2 Pro. In the Phantom and my GoPro, I use a Class 10/U3 card for the fast write speeds. So, I thought I would use a U3 card for the B12. Imagine my disappointment to find nothing on the card after about 40 minutes of flying the B12. So, I switched to a U1 card and had no issues. So, for others who buy the B12, I'd recommend the Class 10/U1. On my final flight with the U1 card, the wind was gusting to about 20-25MPH. At those speeds, the B12 was pushed around and downward a bit. Now I have a good idea in what conditions not to fly.

Great review. The drone image quality looks excellent. EIS seems to works really well for a steady and smooth picture. I would like to get this.
When I watched the video I thought the 4K looked low grade (it does). But then I saw the price of this! At that price I would not expect DJI 4K! What a great beginnner introduction into the 4K world with this drone.

1.) SJRC F11 4K PRO (Jack of all trades)
2.) Holy Stone HS720E (Excellent build quality and better image/video quality comparing to F11 4k Pro [too bad it doesn't have a 2-axis gimbal])
3.) MJX Bugs 12 EIS (alternative to HS720 E)

I just took this on my inaugural flight, and I love it! This was my first time flying a drone and it was super fun. I was flying quickly in my back yard, but when I got close to the ground I was unsure how to stop the motors. I was wondering if you could provide a suggestion on how to stop the motors without the return to home function? I really want to learn how to manually fly the drone to have the most control. Once I figure out how to turn off the motors I’ll absolutely love it.

You land a drone by holding the LEFT JOYSTICK down. Don't release the left joystick until the motors stop.

Very stable vedio that electronic vedio stabilizer does wonders 😄 and I love the slow vedio feature there , but if the controller was rechargable it would have been much nicer. Watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲 respect

Great Video Captain them MJX Drones certainly keeps you fit all that running about no wonder your so slim you always make a cheap drone look the business. I guess you will be reviewing the new DJI mini when it comes out the drone market is changing so quickly you need a big bank balance to keep up with it eh.

I have the Holy Stone hs720e and have been curious if this drone was any better (besides it having a bigger battery), but after seeing your review I can now confidently say the Holy Stone has a much better video quality.

The HS720E has a much better build quality than the BUGS drone.
They are basically the same drone. Exactly the same camera.
$250 cad is a decent bang for the buck too, at least from what I was able to see in your demo. Hopefully the build quality is there too... thanks Steve O
Thanks for changing the camera click sound. You DO listen to your viewers! :-) interesting that the foldable version weighs more than the non-foldable version (B20)...well that’s because it is a completely different drone. Diff battery and style. If you want to modify the controller to hold a tablet, it can be done. Still not happy with exposure settings. Wish there was a “stick on” filter of some sort. Do they make such a thing? Great review as always.

I just purchased this drone! It's really my second drone purchase and after this video! I feel better about it! My first drone was a one flight wander!! As in!!! I wander where it went??? Lol
As always very good review, i hope dji did not forget you with the Mavic mini 2 who as come out and will be available pretty soon to the general public. I see some of the reviewer who dont even do drone review as already got it!!!
DJI has told me they will not ship me products to review because I review every brand of drone and they don't like it when I compare products. So you will have to watch the channels that mostly review only DJI products.

I've watched all your videos! I love them! I want a drone and as a beginner I don't know which is best. So again, I've watched all you're videos, but trust your opinion. Which drone should I buy up to $300? That's all I'm willing to start at as a new guy.

I love the color of the trees! That drone too bulky & blocky! I will pass on this one. But I can't keep up! I just got an eachine EX3 not long ago & ANOTHER one a couple days later. The drone is indestructible! 😄 You killing me! But it's lots of fun! Are you going to review more radio controlled cars in future? I would like to add that hobby as well. Something I can use on the GROUND. Wanna see what's out there. Thanks for sharing! ☺

Hey Captain, I have a quick question I was hoping you could give me some perspective on. I've been hung up with gimbals, and was down to two choices ---- the Beast Pro 2 and the JJRC X12. Is the EIS on this Bugs 12 comparable, or maybe even better than the 3-axis gimbal, in achieving a smoother video. So basically is the EIS on the Bugs 12 worth considering over the 3-axis gimbal in the other drones mentioned?
And video quality of this bugs drone is pretty remarkable it's got like a cinematic quality somewhat.

So RUclips recommended a video from this guy and then I watched a bunch of his videos. Bought a beginner drone the next day... Well - I loved it and yesterday I upgraded to a more professional model that I found used on Facebook Marketplace. (I really like this bugs 12 EIS... I might become a drone collector LOL....)
HOWEVER - Anyone know why the MJX website doesn't have this drone listed?
My new one just arrived this afternoon-- 03-28-22... Returned this one. the camera was fubar.
I got a replacement and on the third flight it started acting strange, it would not hover without me controlling it with the sticks, so I flew it around a bit and came back to a hover and again it would not hover, it would move all over the place but not violently so I landed it and all went well until i tried to shut it down! It started revving up and down and trying to take off, it flew forward into the wall a couple of feet away which stopped two of the props from turning and this allowed me to grab it carefully (still received a cut) but i had it in my had. It continued to rev up and down for ten minutes while I tried everything to shut it down. I killed the app, I killed the phone. I hit the stop button first but no response , i pushed the button on the battery to kill it and it still continued to rev up and down. I caught it in the slowest rev and shoved it into a blanket and then jerked the battery. It was not damaged but this possessed drone is going back never to return. The key take-a-way is even holding the battery button down did nothing... Thing needs and exorcism!

Nope, just any phone that uses WiFi at 802.11ac. Most phones have this.
Great video!! What sd card do you use ? I ve tried an scandisk extreme pro 64gb exfat format, but it does not work. Although it recognises It does not record to the card.
In all budget drones I usually use a 16 gig card.
