The ONLY magazine loader that has worked for me; to load the Sig 365x magazines is the Speed Beez. The Sig 365 mags are one of the hardest magazines to load as everything on this pistol is compact including the magazine. The ETS works well for compact Glocks but not for the Sig.
Don't give up on the ETS Camloader. I had the same problem with my Taurus G2S mags. Then, I noticed that the mag follower was not perfectly centered because the mag thickness was less than the opening width of the ETS. The issue is that the ETS is designed for mags with different widths. My "high tech" solution was to cut some cardboard from a Browning ammo box and tape them to the insides of the ETS mag loading chamber. That narrowed the width so that when the magazine was inserted it was now perfectly centered; made it much easier. Also, you are correct, lubing the loader grooves makes it easier. Once you get the hang of it, the ETS speedloader is much faster. I also have a Uplula type loader which I use for my lower capacity mags. Hope this helps.
The 2nd one is the one I have and it works great!! I tried loading the magazine at the shop when I bought my weapon and I was embarrassed as hell when I couldn’t get past the 1st bullet….the P365 mags are ridiculously hard to load- I have 4 and have issues with all 4….
I genuinely thought I was a bitch from the pain of loading. Glad I am not the only one who thinks it sucks lololol. I always call BS when in movies they dump a box and slap in a few rounds real quick hahahaha.
I had an issue with that too... But seriously though?... Practice makes perfect... You just need to push down with your thumb, with your OTHER THUMB on top of your thumb... And you really only need to do this to the LAST round, maybe the last 2... Also, pull the round back as your pushing down to seat it. Hope this helps, save yourselves some money and just practice... I'm 5'8 and 115 pounds and have no problems loading these 12 round mags
The demo I watched from ETS said repeatedly you should flip the ammo up right away so that the tips face the ceiling, otherwise it binds like what you demonstrated. I had the same issue.
Also, not sure, but I believe you might have to oil it every use. When I was at the range I tried using it and it wasn't oiled and it jammed up on me several times. When I got home and applied oil to the two spots, it worked fine.
Try loading the magazine in first & smacking the bottom to make sure its fully seated & then try loading in the bullets for the ETS. If that doesn't work, try the same thing but with 1 bullet already loaded. Should work.
I redact my statement, my ETS finally came in and the P365 mags are a nightmare to try to get to work. Oiled up the ETS, followed directions and no dice, gets jammed. Uplula for this one
I wish I would have seen this video sooner. I also purchased the ETS speed loader and had trouble loading a new P365 magazine. I found if you install the magazine first until it clicks into place and then pick up about 5-7 rounds at a time it works a lot better then trying to load the 10 rounds as advertised. Hopefully this info would helpful so that the ETS isn't as disappointing cause when it do work it is pretty impressive.
Beware there are fake Uplulas out there...i got one that seemed to be goo good of a deal $17. Looked real, but after a few uses with P365 it bent and won't get last few in my new 12 rd magazine, gotta look fir another now
I watched another video before yours and the gentleman that didn't jam one first put it on his chest and loaded 70 some rounds in a matter of seconds! He even mentioned that it worked better than putting it on the table top.
I would recommend the speed bees p365 speed loader, I just got mine and its 10/10. It does have a problem with dry fire dummy rounds but with live rounds no problem.
Why, oh why does the 365 mag spring have to be so tight? I saw a video with the Speed Beez, and purchased one. Worked like a charm...very well built and easy to use, unlike a few other Speed loaders I bought.
Oil or any kind liquid lubricant works well for a little while, but it tends to get gummed up over time, I use graphite dry lube that you can buy for locks, I sprinkle some on a sheet of paper then use a quarter inch wide flat brush to brush it into the recommended areas.. works great and lasts for quite a while. I've never had a problem since.
P.S. All the P365 mag issues I was having seam to stem from the follower on the magazine. It's edges are very sharp and catch on the mag release holes. Need to grind them down a little. Ive show a few hundred rounds and it's gotten a lot better.
SO i had a very similar experience to you. I am not really giving up on the ETS because when it does work it works amazing. It works very well on full sized double stack mags. Anything micro compact and it's a hit or miss. Doing 5 or so rounds at a time yields faster results
I got mine to work by only doing 1-3 rounds at a time. Pressing against my chest as shown by you. Much more pressure required compared to a glock mag, but doable.
Uplula is good. I have two. On ETS, it did not appear to me you fully seated mag first. Then after you jammed it, tried it on your chest. Naturally, it didn't do anything, you had already jammed it. ETS also recommends oiling a couple of spots first, not the rail on both sides. Read instructions first.
I bought an after market speed loader of Amazon to try, I had the same problem with jamming. I found that if you put the mag in first, then load the speed loader with desired number of rounds then place it against level against you chest (Leaving a little gap) before ammo touches the mag worked pretty good!
I had the same problem with the ets and amost gave up, with my P365!!! First check where the bullets slide into the rail mine had some burs from factory or from me not sure. So I ran some sand paper in the groves and got it smooth. Then make sure that it is horizontal with the bullets facing up and it should work good. It took me about 5-10 mags to get it broken in and now it’s fine. Also if you doing a lot of mags put a towel folded up as a cushion on your chest! It’s not perfect but I’d say it’s 85-90% now!
You have to read the directions. You will see the recommended spots to lube. You have to lube the inside of the loader. Load a few times to break it in.
Ha! I’m glad it wasn’t just me. Took my P365 to the range for the first time today and could only get 4-5 rounds per magazine. I guess I got spoiled with my Shield EZ. Uplula is on the way, should improve the shooting experience going forward.
Dude, you gotta follow the directions for the ETS. The clip wasn't all the way in & you need to hold it so the ramp is parallel to the ground. Also, you need to oil the internal ramps where the rounds pass through into the magazine like the instructions call out. I've got one and it works great.
I did the same thing (except for buying 2). I bought one for my P320 mags and it sucked. I almost threw it away until it worked OK with my Staccato mags. But, I have 3 Staccato mags and like 30 P320 mags.
Mine works great on my single and double stack 9mm mags. Just a drop of oil on the slide and another on the internal ramp and I'm good for many loads. Just seat mag tight, scoop up rounds, turn over with the bullet tip up and draw in the plunger. Simple.
I have an ETS speedloader for pistols, and a separate one for rifles, and they work well as long as the magazine doesn't have super stiff springs like the P365. I also have the Maglula, which I love for my Beretta 92F, Glock 45, & Tauraus G2C 9mm, but not for the P356, or my single stack Colt 1911 45 ACP, Remington RM380 or Tauraus G2C 40 S&W. In fact, in the middle of loading my 9 P365 mags, my Maglula's metal push bar bent, and was never strong enough to load the P365 mags again. I don't think is was the stiff springs alone--the fact that the P365 mag is NOT double stack (it's a patented 1 1/2 stack) which wobbles in the Maglula IMHO both contributed to the failure of the Maglula (which was replaced under its 1 year warranty. I bought the MAKERSHOT Speedloader for Sig Sauer P365 on Ebay, and it works great for me.
I saw the Makeshot as well, but it's my understanding that its is a 3D printed product which makes me second guess the quality. I hope it works well for you and last a good long while.
I bought the XL today and I was dumbfounded when I couldn’t fully load the 12 round mags. I’m 6’2 295 lbs and I’m not normally a puss like this. 😆 I actually loaded 10 rounds in one Mag the first time and thought, something wasn’t right but then I was taken back when I could only force about 6 rounds in it the second time. I did manage to load 12 in the other mag once but that’s it. I’m buying the Uplula tomorrow. I’m fine with being called a puss. 😁
that's pretty funny. I bought a p365 two days ago and i couldn't believe how much i was struggling to load the mag. All i could think of was that there was a second mag I had to load after! The 2nd mag isn't loaded yet....
Just got my ETS yesterday for my Taurus G2C and my chest is bruised from trying to load my magazine with the "against your chest method" It seems I can load 5/6 rounds at a time but any more and it does what yours was doing in the video, binding up.
Try loading one round into the mag then use the ETS, it seems to fix the jamming issue for me, and oil the inside feed ramp also. I also use the Uplula too.
“Maglula UpLULA Universal Pistol Magazine Speed Loader.” Problem solved. I am NOT affiliated! I’ve owned them for years. I paid ~$35 total for a new one to go in the case with the 365. I own 5 of the Sig 365 mags. 2 from factory with pistol and 3 purchased extra. Absolute PTA to load! First 3 or 4 rounds are OK. Then, forget about it! In all 5 mags! This is not my first rodeo. I've used one, but never EVER “needed” a speed loader in my life, until now. Worst loading mags ever. $50 a pop! Great pistol.
Operator error!!! You must put the magazine in BEFORE loading the ammo! If the mag is not seated first the bullets become mis aligned below the sight line of the loader body. If you seat the mag FIRST to the second stop not the first it works every time!! The instructions are not too clear. Alto make sure the pusher touches the body of the loader when you push it down or you won't get the last round to load. It is a wonderful gadget once you know how to use it. Also DON't slap the mag into the loader but push it. If you keep slapping it you will damage it. Push the mag in till you feel the second notch or seat. I had the same problem you did till I took some time to figure it out.
@@cameronandgunnyhigdon No I don't have a Sig P365 to try. What i do know is he put the oil in the wrong place and didn't seat the magazine properly. He should go to the ETS web site and follow their directions. I couldn't get mine to load a Glock mag until I watched the video and carefully placed the oil. Mine now works perfectly. Good luck, Marc
Marclevy7567 , I beg to differ with you. I just received my ETS speed loader and I’m having the same exact issue and I did load the magazine into the speed loader first as far as it would go. I tried many times even followed any and all suggestions I could find on RUclips. This particular speed loader just doesn’t work for the P365 mags. But I also have to say I struggled with the Glock 19 mags as well but did have success with them. P365 mags were a def fail.
Hey, I got it to work, Problem, the magazine does not full sits to the top of the loader lips. Solutions, shave off the second ledge to full seat the magazine
Loook into the company plate. They make a loader that looks just like the ets but, it's better fitted to sig mags. I only load about 5 rounds at a time. It does work better than the ets version.
I did the same with my 365...very hard to load...All except this loader...Caldwell...I can load ANY mag and round of any gun. Where have you been all my life..all adjustable..no need for all the other sit...loads any thing..bought mine at bass pro..43$..threw all others in trash..wife loves it also..you cant go wrong
Load 3-4 rounds at a time and it will work without a problem. I have the same loader and I had similar problems until I reduced the amount I was loading.
Tested this out on my buddy’s P365, I had no problems with the ETS I bought. But I do agree with the tension and the short mag. If you still have em, try again but with the rounds facing up or vertically towards the sky/ceiling rather than towards a wall or horizontal. Basically have gravity help the rounds drop in the mag as you’re plunging them in. This made all the difference for us when performing our tests along with the oil coating you showed. If done correctly it can beat the UpLula. UpLula is great and requires little technique to load. Our group uses both so the it’s kind of a tie. Most of the ladies prefer the UpLula for the simplicity of it. After some practice with the ETS, you’ll see the difference in loading efficiency. My technique: With the rounds facing up after the scoop, personally use my hip as a brace rather than my chest, then I plunge. Great vid by the way! Thumbs up!
Oh and another couple tips in regards to the ETS, try doing 5 rounds first to get the feel or you can try prepping the mag with one round already in it, or split your scoops (6 then 6 for 12 mag, 5 and 5 for 10). I can buy em off of you so they don’t go to waste. $30 for both. 😬 Haha
I'ma senior citizen and loads mags isnt ever easy. My fingers are trashed from first try with new P365. Used my Glock ' "speed loader" it is OK. could not get the 10th one in.. I think ill get this Uplula
You oiled the WRONG part of the ETS. You need to oil the INSIDE RAMP that the bullets ride on before going into the magazine. Otherwise, it will get “stuck”.
Does sig not come with a loader? My g48 did I just assumed most manufacturers include them. The one that came with isn't as fast for sure. But it still saves the fingers.
Awesome video! Thank you. Just out of curiosity, did your magazines ever become easier to load after shooting a few rounds or is this just a p365 issue?
GodMusicLovePeace That’s a good question to ask. I’ve had a Beretta .40 cal for about 30 yrs and the springs eventually loosened up. I get a “stovepipe” jam and misfeed occasionally. But I’m curious as a new P365 owner as well about these mags. These puppies are tight! Lol. Which is why I’m appreciative of this video. I’m hitting Amazon to order right now with my bruised fingers! So, thanks all!
@@secondwind75 I must say after shooting a few rounds through my sig my mags have become easier to load. When I first started I could barely manually load past 4 bullets. It would take me like 20 minutes 😯 Unless, I've gotten super strong in a short period of time I've had no issues a of late.
Marclevy7567 , I beg to differ with you. I just received my ETS speed loader and I’m having the same exact issue and I did load the magazine into the speed loader first as far as it would go. I tried the speed Breez @SteveAttwood-d8s 15 seconds ago I just purchased the speed breez. It's made very cheaply out of plastic and the bullets tend to bind. You really need to apply pressure to push the round into the mag. It is better than using your thumb, but for the cost, I expected something more
Your problem is technique. Your ets will work for your sig. You just need to know the secret. Watch my short on speed loading. I am doing a review of the ets tomorrow to explain the secret. No lube needed. It helps but not needed
I have been using an UpLula for years in my auto loaders. Bought a P365 this past weekend. While using the UpLula, I found that loading the 10th round in the 10 round clip is a real b***h. I hope the spring loosens up some. Still, I love the accuracy of the P365.
hey just wanted to let you know I had the same issue and I found my resolution. i got a .380 loader for my bersa with doublestack. after staring at it for 2 days I realized i had to dremel a good mm or two off the top edges of the entry side of my mag and now it works like magic.
Why is it that people who cannot follow instructions blame the tool for their incompetence? If you actually follow the ETS instructions and insert the magazine first, ensuring you hear a click to tell you it's seated fully, and using your chest as the support when loading it will work flawlessly every time. If, on the other hand, you're a muppet with weak hands and do it as shown in this video it won't work.
You jammed it when you attempted using the table top. Try again using your chest. Place the magazine in the ETS loader first. Then load your ammunition into the loader. Keep the ammunition pointed upwards and placed the magazine against your chest and push quickly and firmly on the plunger. I have done this 1000 times or more and have never had a problem. I also know many other people who do not have a problem. But if you load the ammunition and turn it in direction other than up before you put the plunger on it and put it on your chest the first one or two bullets jam because they’re not straight and tight against the magazine
Your doing it wrong my man Oil the slide where the rounds go Mag goes in first you grab the rounds then put them facing up Place the push down cap on Place bottomed of mag on chest Push the rounds in Shoot(if your in a place where you can shoot)
Not the least bit surprised by this. I bought one, sent it back, got the replacement and just threw the damn thing away. worthless as far as I am concerned. I was hopeful, but no cigar.
I found you too late. I have the exact same problem and solution. I wish I had seen your video before I purchased the speed loader (mine was from TACNATION and it just sucks!).UPLula is the way to go. I have Canik's (their loader is good as well), sig P229 40 s&w and a couple of highpoint magazines, none of them would work. Only a Mossberg MC1 magazine with 5 rounds worked halfway with the speed loader.
The ONLY magazine loader that has worked for me; to load the Sig 365x magazines is the Speed Beez. The Sig 365 mags are one of the hardest magazines to load as everything on this pistol is compact including the magazine. The ETS works well for compact Glocks but not for the Sig.

@@andrewcramer7214 -Gen5 Glock New York State Legal 10 round magazine oem. I use the oil as well.
So you got an ets to load a p365?
This works wonders on the P365. The dang spring is just so tight in those mags.
UpLula has been the gold standard for a looong time. Just bought another one for $24.99, they're worth every penny.
You need to make sure the P365 mag is centered prior to loading the ammo. You need to look down into the loader to see if centered.
Not only does the ETS suck, they have no customer service. I just sent mine back. I will give the other mag loader a try. Thank you
Just gone one of these, works perfectly with the P365 mag.
What exactly is it called and where’d you buy it?
@@thomasjohnson4217 ETS CAM Speed Loader ETSCAM-9-40. Search using that term on Amazon.
I dont think u inserted the mag all the way
You have to press mag hard to seat it, I've got know issues.
My p365x mags were engaging too far on the ETS, I made a pvc spacer that holds the mag out about 1/8 of an inch. It works great now
Hey, I got it to work,
Problem, the magazine does not full sits to the top of the loader lips.
I use it for my FN 509 and it works just fine.
😬 Haha
I got the one u have 2 of . Same problem. Sending back
I have one. Love it so much
Insert the magazine first before you will hear "click"... 🤣
Thank you so much. I just got a speed loader on Amazon and it did not work. I wish I saw your video first.
Ive go the UpLula it does a fine job ive never seen the other Great video
How could you not use the ETS? Just sell me both of your used ETS so I can give it to my mom and sister.
He wasn't fully seating the magazine like he "said" he was doing.
I'm glad I found this, as a first time gun owner!
Me too
Works perfect with P229 40cal also
I'ma senior citizen and loads mags isnt ever easy. My fingers are trashed from first try with new P365. Used my Glock '
"speed loader" it is OK. could not get the 10th one in.. I think ill get this Uplula
Look into a product called Magguts. It increases the stock mag to 14 rounds and it's even easier to load.
The Maglula works first time, every time.
Nice video! I like my uplula loader
Does this work with a P320 compact?
You oiled the WRONG part of the ETS. You need to oil the INSIDE RAMP that the bullets ride on before going into the magazine. Otherwise, it will get “stuck”.
Does sig not come with a loader? My g48 did I just assumed most manufacturers include them.
The one that came with isn't as fast for sure. But it still saves the fingers.
Ummm NO. None of mine ever came with one
@@DoYouHaveCRPS Seems like a weird place to cut costs to me lol
Awesome video! Thank you.
Just out of curiosity, did your magazines ever become easier to load after shooting a few rounds or is this just a p365 issue?
Every P365 I’ve shot regardless of age is hard. Honestly, that’s only like four P365’s but still...
It would take me like 20 minutes 😯
Unless, I've gotten super strong in a short period of time I've had no issues a of late.
@@GodMusicLovePeace Glad to hear. Thanks.

Super hard to load is an understatement. Only bad thing about the gun though...
Do you have the part/producty number for the Uplula for the P365 magazines. I went to my local gunstore and there were many to choose from.
Maglula UpLula UP60B Pistol Magazine Loader, I found it on Academy Sports for $30. The B is for black, there are other colors available.

I tried the speed Breez
@SteveAttwood-d8s
I just purchased the speed breez.
This happen to me too
ETS is great for regular double stacks, unfortunately the p365 is 1.5 Stack
Buy Right 1st Time What is the loader you called it and does it get easier to load the longer you use it?
Where can I order the UpLULA?
I have been using an UpLula for years in my auto loaders. Bought a P365 this past weekend. While using the UpLula, I found that loading the 10th round in the 10 round clip is a real b***h. I hope the spring loosens up some. Still, I love the accuracy of the P365.
Had same issue. Over time it became easier. Not an issue anymore.
@@1MeanBone It's easier now but still a bit of a b!&*h.
Your supposed to put your mag in first
For that gun the SpeedBeez loader is best. That's why SIG sells them on their website.
hey just wanted to let you know I had the same issue and I found my resolution. i got a .380 loader for my bersa with doublestack. after staring at it for 2 days I realized i had to dremel a good mm or two off the top edges of the entry side of my mag and now it works like magic.
I'll stick to the Magula for my P365, but I use my ETS for my double stacks.
@@buyright1sttime55 youre not using it correctly
Can this loader be used with stripper clips!?
Why is it that people who cannot follow instructions blame the tool for their incompetence?
If you actually follow the ETS instructions and insert the magazine first, ensuring you hear a click to tell you it's seated fully, and using your chest as the support when loading it will work flawlessly every time.
If, on the other hand, you're a muppet with weak hands and do it as shown in this video it won't work.
I got a butler creek it sucks for my shield 40 and 9 I ordered the hill jack I Hurd they were better and less expensive
IOU a beer. Thanks for this!
thanks for the vid!
Glad to help
Thank you, thank you , thank you!
We’re you absolutely positive your mag was fully seated first. If it’s not it won’t work.
Great video👀
OMG, thank you!
Your doing it wrong my man
Oil the slide where the rounds go
Mag goes in first
you grab the rounds then put them facing up
Place the push down cap on
Place bottomed of mag on chest
Push the rounds in
Shoot(if your in a place where you can shoot)
He didn't put the magazine all the way till it snaps in place
It didn't work for me until I broke it in and had to push it further than I thought
thank you!!!!!
You also need to put the pusher into the rail. You have the pusher mounted incorrectly ! Sorry if I appear critical but you are using it wrong.
Not the least bit surprised by this. I bought one, sent it back, got the replacement and just threw the damn thing away. worthless as far as I am concerned. I was hopeful, but no cigar.
The Speed Beez works best with the 365.
i have the ETS and it works great for my glock mags but will not load a single round in my Hellcat mags and that is the worst one to load by hand lol
Funny, I'm having the same issue with 10 brand new Glock 33 round mags.
use chest method/horizontal for glock
