I tired of loading my mags without a loader...so i decided to buy one of these, i got mine home and i was staring at and going "WTH"....then i watched your video and i'm loading quicker than ever before. Thanks for the How To vid.
As a newbie into gun world at 66 years old I still have problems loading mags by hand. I believe its all about technique not strength so the Uplula is my go to. But I want to master it. Just like shooting my SW 9mm Compact for the first time today at 10 yards I hit the 10×14 target, but not one good grouping. Practice makes perfect I hope.
THANK you for going step-by-step, at a slow pace, so novices can actually follow what you're doing. I tried to watch other videos but they failed to describe steps they assumed the viewer was already familiar with. But your video enabled me to actually use the loader correctly. Great job!
Finally found a review of how the Maglula works!!! All the other reviews were so difficult to understand, perhaps because the reviewers watched were guilty of assuming all the folks who viewed the videos prior knowledge.
Awesome Video... NOTE: The instructions recommend on-loading the first round into the magazine by hand, then loading the remaining rounds with the UPLULA to avoid scratching the follower with the metal beak/ramp on the Uplula. Another feature is the magazine off-loading tool designed onto the side where the ring is on the speedloader...
To late, I did scratch the hell of it and is very noticeable. Be careful my mistake for rushing and not paying attention to details. Nevertheless, awesome magazine speed loader that makes loading bullets very simple and effortless with no pain involved!
I’ve been using mine for 8 or 10 years, and have literally never done this. And I have no signs of any damage or scratching of my followers. For those who are wondering about this.
That little key ring is for holding the single stack mags clip on adapter. It’s a little U shaped clip that clips onto the bottom so you can use it easier for .45 SCP mags. It centers the single stack mags.
Thank you sooooo much for the step-by-step, slow tutorial! I was lost until I watched this and loaded my magazine at the same time as you loaded yours.
Thanks for showing how to use it. Bought my at Academy for $35.00, but let me tell you it makes loading bullets so simple, unbelievably crazy simple. I used it on a Smith & Wesson CSX 9mm magazine because my this handgun purchase did not come with a magazine speed loader, so at first I used my hand to load 12 + 10 bullets into two different magazines. This was crazy hard and painful. When I try to use the UpLula, I was not sure how to use it, so I watched this video and immediately I got the hang of it, so tried and loaded one magazine in less than one minute, unbelievable simple and pain free. Again thanks for this video.
I've got two of these. One stays in my shooting bag all the time. I bought the orange ones because they are bright enough to make them hard to miss if I put one down someplace where it might be overlooked and forgoten. These things save alot of hurt on my old arthritic fingers. Great little product !
I just purchased one today not knowing anything about them and the gun store recommended that particular one for 9 mm he demonstrated for me but when I got home I had no instructions he gave me one that he had in the store he didn't have the rapper anyway when I got home I forgot what he said and what he demonstrated so I had a hell of a time trying to figure it out and could not so then I Googled it it came up with this and now I understand 100% great demonstration and now I can sleep tonight.
Thank you so much. Your video for this UpLULA mag loader is the best. I've just bought it and there is no need to read their instructions on the package. U R right! It's very simple to use because of your video.
I just started using these, they really are great. I found that sometimes the little notch that pushes the rounds down will pull the top one forward a bit when you release it. Keeping a finger on the top round keeps it in place and doesn't really slow anything down. Also, there's a printed icon of a bullet cartridge on the top, indicating which direction it should be facing when you're loading.
BY far the best video on how to use the uploader, I watched other video's and they went way too fast for me. Maybe I'am just slow, but after watching this video I got it. Thanks
100,000 up votes! You explained this in such a way that even I understood! I've searched and watched a number of videos on how to use this speed loader and yours is the only one that showed in detail and the BEST one on the Internet! I can't tell you how frustrated I was trying to figure out how to use this tool. You're the best and I cannot thank you enough! Cheers and stay safe! MAGA
Hello, thank you for the step-by-step instructions. I am very impressed with the little Uplula accessory. I use it for a Para Ordnance P14-45ACP and for the first time I can load 14 bullets without breaking my fingers. 😄👍 Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Thank you so much for this demonstration of this 9 mm loader because the instructions weren’t very clear in my book but thank you again it’s been a great help now I can do it easily.
That would be great for granny's like me I go to the range I have a hard time loading my Glock magazine. My Ruger Max is just fine. I would love to get one of that Maglula mag loader. Thanks kiddo. Love your videos.
I just bought a gun and I also have arthritis, so picking a gun that’s easy to use and handle was key. Thankfully this little gadget came with my gun! I tried loading the mags manually just to get a feel for it and I was surprised it was so difficult to do, especially when you get about 5-6 rounds in, the resistance becomes too much.
Excellent video, thank you! The instructions that came with the UpLULA speed loader SUCK ROCKS! You video cleared it up perfectly. IMO, the Glock speed loader sux. The UpLULA is great! Hand loading 9mm or less is easy, and I'm 62 yrs old. 10mm is alot more challenging, especially loading the last 3 rounds or so. I use the UpLULA to load my 10mm rounds and it works great1 Very easy to use
I have two of the older loaders and you always had to keep the mag straight. The new unit has a mag "guide" that centers the magazine. No more need to hold the loader in the center. GREAT !
I just got mine today and I love it, my 9mm magazine is a son of a GUN to load. With this thing, it is a breeze to load. I have looked at other loaders and in most of them you have to load the first bullet yourself but this one will load first to last.
I have a .380 and a 9mm. I knew this would work with the 9 but wasn't certain whether it would work with the .380. Had no issues. One thing you missed is on the back side is an unloader which works really well.
It came with the firearm I purchased from a pawn shop it is a CZP07 came with three mags a holster and there was an uplula loader in there as well it is by far the best loader that I have.
After many years of not using a mag loader, I have finally met my match with the P365 magazine. Great video, and think I’m gonna pick this one up. And why can’t handgun magazines be like AR/AK style where you just push a bullet straight down - lol
Some of the local gun ranges now include one of these in each bay. Of course they are attached to the wall via a cable/chain so people don't walk off with them. Been using one for quite a few years.
The ring is for the gray plastic single stack adapter that you can purchase separately. I bought it for my 1911 .45 acp. The adapter snaps on the bottom to keep a single stack magazine from wobbling as your loading up and it has a hole for the ring to keep it with the device when needed. Or you can keep it on the bottom while still attached to the key ring hole.
I could not load more than a few rounds in the 30 round magazines for the Keltec 22WMR rifle. I can now load 30 rounds in the magazines with an Magula loader. I bought two of them in case I loose or break one.
My method: Using the left hand, wrap the index finger over the hoop on top, three remaining fingers around the back, thumb around the front. Squeeze with the thumb, then push down with the index finger. Drop in the round. Release. Repeat. Works well with 17-round mags.
Hello Is it compatible with the blank bullets from the KIMAR 75 alarm pistol (I can't insert more than 3 or 4 bullets into the magazine because it's so difficult)?
