How are they in the slush and wet? Better than the X Ice probably… I just can’t bypass the x ice, they were beastly on my WRX. But the CC2 has a longer warranty… if money was no object, I’d get the Alpin, but The 30k warranty tells me they won’t last long.
@ their strength is in straight line acceleration and braking. Side to side is where competitors have an advantage based on other reviews I’ve watched. I personally have not felt out of my element with these tires in the rain or snow so far. In upstate NY we have only had two hard snowfalls and the roads were clear by the afternoon both times. I’ll report back if I have any issues. I have no brand loyalty for anything haha. So far they have been great. Obviously you can’t go wrong with Blizzaks but if we continue to have a mild winter I don’t want to drive on a tire so squishy. I did go to 245/40/18 tires on the stock wheels with the CC2s for a slight taller side wall.
Rear view is from Wolfbox (I'll be releasing a review soon, affiliate linked on Instagram) and the side mirrors are from SUMA Performance, they're not auto-dimming but they are glare reducing more than OEM which is nice. They're also wide FOV.
Some of these things seem extremely obvious but they're for everyone, regardless of knowledge level.
Enjoy!
This is a good video for proper snow driving in general not just the GR corolla.
I’ve been using Michelin CrossClimate 2s and they have been solid in the snow so far.

Are those autodimming mirrors? I like the hue they have. Also, what rearview mirror are you using?
