Man, this one too nailed it! Situational awareness is something that always came natural to me as a kid. We just have that sense of potential dangers and disturbances and know when to “make adjustments.” When I book a long flight, I always choose an aisle seat towards the back of the plane near the lavatory. It makes traveling a breeze when having to take a piss and I’m also surrounded by less noise. When I’m at a sporting event, I’ll leave early if I sense the game is one-sided to avoid traffic and drunken idiots in the parking lot after the final second ticks. I live in a major city where times can get rough, especially at night. When I’m out and about late at night, I’ll sometimes throw the hood up or wear my hat backwards while walking with a sense of purpose. This doesn’t mean that I’m paranoid or that I’ll be robbed by default if I don’t do these things. It just lessens the chance of being approached by anyone when I’d rather not be bothered.
We will avoid and ignore problems until they keep pushing and push us too far. After that, be prepared to fight one of the hardest fights in your life. Would not stop until they win, by any means necessary...

Neil McCauley : Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner.
First time you've talked about all the bad. That's what you should touch on. I bet as soon as you talk about the bad and the dark. People will start running away from this idea that they think they are that when that's the furthest from the truth
Another spot-on characterization of Sigmas. The paranoia is because Sigmas are in general smarter and more ethical than the population at large. Most people lie for money or lie to protect their egos when they are wrong. Whereas Sigmas don't care enough about money to lie about it, and our egos are matured enough so we don't get bent out of shape when we are proven wrong by information and belief. Most people dig in their heels when they are wrong and proliferate bigger lies to cover their tracks, especially if money is involved. They think Sigmas are naïve because we are honest; so, they seek to take advantage of us, like predators pounce on prey. We learn to be paranoid as a survival skill. When I was young, I used to walk away from people who sought to maliciously inflict harm on my finances and reputation, but now hire attorneys to sort them out. I have learned to be paranoid enough to avoid dealing with bad people before they get too close to me, but about every 15 years or so one still slips through the net.
This video shot me straight back in time where i had to pull a baby out of a pool. Saw a child crying across the street one minute, the next i was diving into a neighbors pool pulling out a baby.
Right on.. as a married Sigma we very seldom argue or disagree because WE Look at things from all angles.. Plus we ROCK as lovers... brahhh just sayin...😂😂

Awareness while being invisible is the true trait. We stay out of the crowd while observing everything

Agree with your comment.. we ground ourselves with realistic optimism.. LOVE that finally another defense weapon word to use. 😂😂😂
Two philosophies come to mind, prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Also, expect the worst and you'll only be pleasantly surprised. . .

Mine is already empty. Time to move on to the whiskey shot glass instead.
